the paired device settings we can then tweak a few options including what the double tab commands do for each ear phone if you don't have a huawei phone you can still connect them really easily by pairing them through your Bluetooth settings you'll also be able to use huawei's a eyeli fab then you can see all the stats for your Freebirds edit what the touch shortcuts do turn on and adjust the noise canceling + updater software which I definitely recommend you do for the best experience ok so there's no getting away from the similarity between these and Apple's air pods but what is worth considering is that only apple's latest air pod pros have active noise-cancelling or ANC but we do get that on these and they cost 80 pounds less 1 6 9 vs 2 4 9 so relatively these are pretty good value for money so the Freebirds use an open fit design which while we are calling a dolphin bionic design which is the best name for anything ever and it's meant to make them more comfortable compared to in earbuds that can sometimes irritate your ears after extended use while still focusing the sound and blocking out background noise the downside there of course is unlike in air phones you can't swap out different sizes of earbuds this is one size fits all make this look cool look again look so the noise-canceling works automatically once you put them in after a second or two you'll hit the world around you go a bit more muted and it works using the Freebirds built-in audio processor and Huawei snooker in a one chip so in real time it optimizes and reduces environmental noise but of course the open fit designed means I can still hear some ambient noise around me but it was definitely muffled and adjusting the ambient sound slider wheel in the AI life app gives you a good idea of what a difference it makes so right now I'm actually using the built-in microphones to record the audio it may not sound amazing but just think this is what you'd hear on a phone call with me and the whole idea is these people threes are pretty good at cancelling out background noise we found one of the loudest parts of London on the south bank of the Thames they're skateboarders of their screaming kids everywhere while we have added what they're calling a aerodynamic mic which is clearly using bone senses so no she detects the vibrations in my face burns facial bones and together hopefully you should better hear me fairly clearly sound quality is solid and they use larger 14 millimeter dynamic drivers but the first thing you'll notice is that these can get really loud like your mum would tell you off because you're gonna hurt your ears loud but even at higher volumes I didn't notice any distortion and they offered a good balance of sound I found that particularly good at bringing other vocals so YouTube videos and podcasts sound great with these Huawei also boasts of the free bird 3s off the lowest latency than pretty much any of its competitors so let's delay when it comes to making calls or even playing games but it does depend on what phone you use so I think the free bird threes are best served with a huawei phone ideally running emui 10 you get the lowest latency the highest audio data transfer up to 2 point 3 Mbps Mbps Mbps that's gonna be exact and it's just a little bit easier to set up you get four hours of battery from the earphones themselves with a further 20 hours of charge from the battery case the best part though is it charges really quickly half an hour will get you from 0 to 70% plus it supports fast qi wireless charging half an hour gives you 30% and you can even use reverse wireless charging if you have a huawei phone so obviously it is a pretty competitive market but I think the three by threes are definitely worth considering we've got the open fit design which personally I'm a fan of I think is a little bit more comfortable you got the active noise-cancelling solid battery life fast charging they look pretty good as well and all for 169 pounds which is a good deal less than Apple's Airport pros so all in a nice little package and if you do fancy buying a pair of these for yourself they're coming out November 14th
Huawei FreeBuds 3 Real World TEST - Worth the Money _ The Tech Chap
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys Anton the tech and these are the new Huawei Freebirds 3 I must have missed the Freebirds 1 & 2 but here we are with the third generation so when one we got in touch and I see if I wanted to make a video on the freebird 3s I was pretty interested to see what they could do so let's kick off with a quick unboxing I've got the white free bud 3 serve the round case just feels good to hold and flicking up on the lid with your 2 earphones elsewhere in the box we have a Quick Start Guide pretty standard stuff as well as a USBC cable for charging them so the food bugs come in two colors white or black but which do you think looks best though in the poll at the top right and let me know so pairing them is pretty straightforward just press the little button on the side for a couple of seconds and open a lid to enter pairing mode on Huawei phones running emui 10 or later it'll then automatically pop up on the home screen just press connect and then once it sees them tap setup this brings you to the paired device settings we can then tweak a few options including what the double tab commands do for each ear phone if you don't have a huawei phone you can still connect them really easily by pairing them through your Bluetooth settings you'll also be able to use huawei's a eyeli fab then you can see all the stats for your Freebirds edit what the touch shortcuts do turn on and adjust the noise canceling + updater software which I definitely recommend you do for the best experience ok so there's no getting away from the similarity between these and Apple's air pods but what is worth considering is that only apple's latest air pod pros have active noise-cancelling or ANC but we do get that on these and they cost 80 pounds less 1 6 9 vs 2 4 9 so relatively these are pretty good value for money so the Freebirds use an open fit design which while we are calling a dolphin bionic design which is the best name for anything ever and it's meant to make them more comfortable compared to in earbuds that can sometimes irritate your ears after extended use while still focusing the sound and blocking out background noise the downside there of course is unlike in air phones you can't swap out different sizes of earbuds this is one size fits all make this look cool look again look so the noise-canceling works automatically once you put them in after a second or two you'll hit the world around you go a bit more muted and it works using the Freebirds built-in audio processor and Huawei snooker in a one chip so in real time it optimizes and reduces environmental noise but of course the open fit designed means I can still hear some ambient noise around me but it was definitely muffled and adjusting the ambient sound slider wheel in the AI life app gives you a good idea of what a difference it makes so right now I'm actually using the built-in microphones to record the audio it may not sound amazing but just think this is what you'd hear on a phone call with me and the whole idea is these people threes are pretty good at cancelling out background noise we found one of the loudest parts of London on the south bank of the Thames they're skateboarders of their screaming kids everywhere while we have added what they're calling a aerodynamic mic which is clearly using bone senses so no she detects the vibrations in my face burns facial bones and together hopefully you should better hear me fairly clearly sound quality is solid and they use larger 14 millimeter dynamic drivers but the first thing you'll notice is that these can get really loud like your mum would tell you off because you're gonna hurt your ears loud but even at higher volumes I didn't notice any distortion and they offered a good balance of sound I found that particularly good at bringing other vocals so YouTube videos and podcasts sound great with these Huawei also boasts of the free bird 3s off the lowest latency than pretty much any of its competitors so let's delay when it comes to making calls or even playing games but it does depend on what phone you use so I think the free bird threes are best served with a huawei phone ideally running emui 10 you get the lowest latency the highest audio data transfer up to 2 point 3 Mbps Mbps Mbps that's gonna be exact and it's just a little bit easier to set up you get four hours of battery from the earphones themselves with a further 20 hours of charge from the battery case the best part though is it charges really quickly half an hour will get you from 0 to 70% plus it supports fast qi wireless charging half an hour gives you 30% and you can even use reverse wireless charging if you have a huawei phone so obviously it is a pretty competitive market but I think the three by threes are definitely worth considering we've got the open fit design which personally I'm a fan of I think is a little bit more comfortable you got the active noise-cancelling solid battery life fast charging they look pretty good as well and all for 169 pounds which is a good deal less than Apple's Airport pros so all in a nice little package and if you do fancy buying a pair of these for yourself they're coming out November 14th and I'll leave a link in the description below my question to you though is what song do you put on first when you get a new pair of earphones or headphones
