My Weekly Inserts and Decorate My Planner

I'm so excited to share my weekly inserts with you guys today! I have been waiting all week for this moment, and I just can't wait to dive into designing these inserts and making them cute. Okay, so that's it for my close, let's move on to what I got at Hobby Lobby.

Hobby Lobby Haul

I went to Hobby Lobby because I wanted to see what else they have besides planners. And boy, were they impressed! They had all kinds of sales, including a huge clearance section. First up was this charm - I picked it out for my daughter's charm bracelet that I got her for Christmas. I bought the charms at Michaels, but Hobby Lobby has an amazing jewelry charm-making collection, and they were 50% off. So, I scored a little cheer charm because I couldn't find one at Michael's. Next up was some just sticker letters - Paper Studio is currently 50% off, so anything that said $9.99 was obviously going to be 99 cents. I rounded it down to a dollar because, let's face it, you wouldn't find stickers like these at Dollar Tree.

Hobby Lobby Stickers

I have a very specific spread in mind for this insert, and I'm super excited about it. I know that's a teaser, but I really, really am excited about this specific spread. Alright, so next up was some more stickers - Paper Studio was 50% off again, which is always a bonus. And let me tell you, they had some gorgeous stickers that I've never seen before at Hobby Lobby. This one is just gorgeous, and I feel like it's going to go perfectly with this set.

I did get a few of the donut stickers because I wanted to get some cute small type stickers for my planner. And let me tell you, these are just precious. Look at her with her little headband - I'm in love! The gold foil arrows and mint green are also adorable. I'm not a fan of that bright yellow gold; it looks kind of cheap to me, but maybe I'll like it when I plan with it. Who knows?

Decorative Stickers

The last thing I got were these little paperclip embellishments - I guess this is starting to be a trend now that Paper Studio has caught on and they're making really cute paper clips. They're not as fancy as some of the Etsy sellers, but I just love them anyway. And let me tell you, they were 50% off at Hobby Lobby, which made them an amazing deal.

The Power of Supporting Small Shops

I do want to take a moment to talk about why I'm so excited about these paperclip embellishments. As someone who loves supporting small shops and makers, I get really pumped when I see little companies like this one making cute products that I can use in my planner. Etsy sellers are some of the most talented people out there, and it's amazing to see what they come up with every day.

The Benefits of Buying from Small Shops

When I buy things from small shops or makers, I feel like I'm supporting someone who is putting their heart and soul into their work. And let me tell you, that makes a big difference in the quality of the product. I don't want to support giant corporations just because they're big; I want to support people who are passionate about what they do.

Etsy Shopping

I've been following some Etsy sellers on Instagram for a while now, and I love seeing their work every day. They inspire me to be creative and try new things with my planner. So, I'm definitely going to start ordering more from Etsy soon - maybe even making some of these paper clips myself (although that might take some practice!).

planner haul so I saw this planner I've seen it everywhere and I've seen people hauling it and I think it's the cutest thing in the world I can totally understand why everyone wants it and so I had to go get one for myself so let's go ahead jump into this haul so it's two different places Michaels and Hobby Lobby I will start off with Michaels and show you what I got I absolutely love Michael scrapbooking papers I feel like they are so much better than Hobby Lobby although Hobby Lobby is my favorite crafting store so it's kind of kind of makes me sad because if Hobby Lobby had half of the scrapbooking options that Michaels have I probably would never go to Michael's to be honest but Michaels just carries the balm papers and I saw these I don't know if you can tell but they have these little dots but they are textured and so I've got one in almost every color they had so here's a red here's this really beautiful vibrant what color would you say this is I don't even know I don't know teal I don't know and then here is a purple and then I got a white as well these were each 49 cents the other problem with Michaels scrapbooking papers as they're quite expensive so this one alone was a dollar 99 and they were not 50% off and that's the other problem with Michaels as well is their sales I feel don't rotate as quickly as Hobby Lobby does so this one right here was a dollar 99 but I thought the print was super beautiful and they do protect it with like a little protector sheet and it is the recollections line here is this one in this gorgeous silver so here's a gold I've hauled this one before and I recently use this in my one of my spreads and I've used it in a couple of other spreads in 2016 so this is some of my favorite paper but I never hoped the silver before so now I have a silver and gold this one right here let me move this and see it this wall right here was actually on sale for 49 cents and I thought it was really cool I mean you can like actually cut these out and turn them into little like project life cards or use them as little pictures in your planner so I thought this one was really really pretty and honestly what grabbed me was just the camera alone but everything else is really cute as well then I picked up this gorgeous fuchsia bright-pink I love this now the only problem is I've actually used a similar style to this before who remembers my mermaid spread from 2016 last year I used something similar to this and I'd like a Bluegreen color so it is really difficult to work with because when you cut it with your paper cutting tool these little sequins tend to pop off but this is so beautiful and I have a very specific spread in mind for this so I can't wait to use this and the next one is very similar to the first one we saw it's just this iridescent beautiful color and this one is a Bluegreen whereas the other one is like a pink pinky pearl so all right to the next bag for Michael's before I get sir I just want to say I was really disappointed in the dollar fifty Bennett Michaels things are just it doesn't look like they've actually put in new items that I've seen other people haul so I'm really disappointed on top of that they've also started labeling things one dollar they and then they label things two dollars so you have to be really careful that someone hasn't stuck something that you like and maybe a two dollar bin and so just be careful if your Michaels is like that as well so out of the dollar 50 been this was the only thing that I found and I think it was one dollar and they had multiple cute little notebooks and I thought this one was really cute the gold foil which is very trendy and very in and and it says explore with the map and I just thought it would be cute maybe to put in like places I want to visit I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with this just yet so I'll have to like figure it out but they have really cute little journals then I saw this new collection called Molly and Rex really really beautiful I just have to say that I think their stuff is a little pricey for me I wanted the bigger um scrapbook cardstock of this same sheet but it was $20 and it wasn't on sale and I just thought there's no way I'm paying 20 bucks for that but I was so in love with this balloon a hot air balloon print that I just had to get this so I got the smaller one that one look how pretty that one is watercolors the bicycles the gold foil with a watercolor background is really pretty too that's pretty I don't really like that but this is why I wanted to get this I thought it was so so pretty like even get little project life cards so cute and it was $5.99 so oh wow alright so now for the main event this gorgeous gorgeous planner and I did take pictures of all the other styles that they had as well so that you could see what's out there I really debated amongst this one and two others one with a bicycle and one with like a chic girl next to like a Paris the Paris Eiffel Tower so but in the end I just was like I can totally understand why everyone's hauling this one it's just so gorgeous the the pastels they gold foil the camera so cute and it was 29.99 but I found a coupon for 50% off one item for January 21st so I used it so this ended up being 15 bucks for me wow this is so stunning I love it it's a little stiff but it's probably going to give after use but I love that it comes with inserts because this is just something that rarely happens when you're you know ordering planner covers it's usually empty and you then you have to buy the inserts for it so I love that we get February we get all here I love that how adorable and then in each month you get a little it's almost like a little dashboard a little overview of your monthly goals for that month and then oh I love this they're not preset so you can put in any date any year and here that you want and then you get the weekly inserts - that is amazing and I do love like the print and color because I can go with a theme for this planner I can do like an old vintage pastel colored girly shabby chic theme all those roped into one so I love that I love the little dividers - looking back looking ahead that's cool and then here's March April May June that's cute pretty you guys I'm already obsessed already obsessed and because of the size I think this is going to be the one that's going to be thrown into my purse so I'm definitely going to have to work on setting this up and start decorating this so you know me I will share all this with you alright so now let's look at all the little things that I bought for it these are all little goodies from Michaels as well and they were kind of decently priced I mean it was okay some things were 299 399 maybe even 499 but I don't think it was any more than that I think the little sticky notes were 299 H and I mean just look at them stunning I mean it's just so girly and shabby chic and I love the little page flags I think worth every penny for $2.99 this one as well there so beautiful that you could add them to a little dashboard and then I got this little like magnetic clip set and actually it goes with another planner it goes with the one with the Eiffel Tower I believe no I think there was another one that said something about being fabulous so I think this goes with that planner but I really didn't care because I thought it was just still cute and I think it will look really cute at this and then I got two sets of these sticky notes I mean they do all the talking I don't even need to explain this says hashtag sorry not sorry that's cute I love the bow this one I just love the gold detail and then this one I really liked too because I love how small they were and I thought it was really appropriate for a planner this size and you even get the little insert so you can just put it in as a dashboard which I'm going to do because I do want to keep this with this planner and not really use it for anything else and look at this wah this little circle one is adorable and then I got this little sticker set again for this planner as well I liked it because of the size and I liked all the little options and these are all the little different sticker sets that you get with this adorable I'm just I'm obsessing I can't even handle this and then as you can see like this scrapbook paper will go so well to
