Stitch Fix Haul - Box #2

My Stitch Fix Experience: A Review of My Latest Box

I recently received my latest box from Stitch Fix, a personal styling service that sends you a selection of clothing items tailored to your style and preferences. I was excited to try it out again after having a great experience with my previous two boxes. The first piece of clothing in the box was a shirt that featured a unique design on the sleeve. The design went up like the back of the sleeve, but it had metal hardware attached to it. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the shirt when I first took it out, but after putting it on, I found it to be super cute and liked it a lot.

The next piece in the box was another top that I really liked. This one was made of rayon and spandex, and I loved the blend of materials. The fabric was soft and stretchy, making it comfortable to wear. The design was modern and stylish, with a striped pattern and raw edges where the knit was cut. I thought the asymmetrical look was cool and unique, and it fit well without feeling too tight or constricting. I also appreciated that it was breathable, even though it had long sleeves.

The final piece of clothing in the box was a blazer made of stretch knit fabric. I loved the lining of this blazer, which was black and white and stretched to fit my body. However, when I tried it on, I found that it ran small. Despite its fitted design, the blazer was too tight for me, even with stretching. I was disappointed by this, but I did appreciate the quality of the fabric and the way it moved when I wore it. The blazer looked great with a black T-shirt and jeans, and I thought it was a nice addition to my wardrobe.

The last piece in the box wasn't clothing at all - it was a little bracelet set that included a silver and gold belt buckle. I loved these bracelets, which were similar but with different finishes. They added a touch of elegance to any outfit and were versatile enough to wear on their own or layered together. I thought they were a nice bonus in the box and appreciated the variety.

Overall, my latest Stitch Fix box was a success. I kept four out of five pieces from the box, which is a great achievement for me. The total cost of the items came out to be $262, but with 25% off and the $20 styling fee deducted, I ended up saving almost $61. This brought the final price down to $181, which is still a bit steep but manageable.

If you're considering trying Stitch Fix for yourself, I would definitely recommend it. The service has been great for me so far, and I've received items that I love and wear regularly. My stylist, who created my box, seems to know my style well, as evidenced by the fact that I kept all five pieces in both of my previous boxes. If you're interested in trying Stitch Fix, be sure to use my referral link below, which will earn me credit for future boxes.

In conclusion, I'm excited to see what my next box from Stitch Fix brings. With a new style and preferences emerging, I'm eager to try out different looks and see what works best for me. Until then, I'll continue to share my experiences with the service and offer advice to anyone considering trying it out for themselves.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey it's Vanessa The Crafty Gemini I post weekly howto video tutorials right here on my YouTube channel but in this video I'm sharing with you the contents of my second Stitch fix box so if you missed my first episode on my first fix you definitely want to click right here I'll send you to that video so you can check that out now if you're new to this and you have no idea what I'm talking about let me briefly tell what Stitch fix is it is a personal styling service I hate to shop and as most of you know I've lost about 70 lbs this past year so I completely wiped out my closet and I'm starting fresh in 2014 so I figured I'd give this service a try basically you fill out a full style profile online then they match you up a personal stylist Will based on your style profile will pick five handpicked pieces that they think you would wear be comfortable wearing and that matches your style profile right so they send you five pieces right now they don't do shoes they do clothes accessories like handbags and jewelry and I think that's pretty much it if you're interested in trying out the service after you watch this video I'll include my link in the description box below it's basically a referral link so if you do sign up using my link I'll get a credit so the next time I order my fix I'll have some money in there to order me some new clothes so that would be greatly appreciated and then when you sign up for your own account you'll get your own referral link so then you can share that with your friends and family and do the same thing so that's how it works now another thing I like about Stitch fix is that there's also a comment box so when you go to schedule your fix and you can do it monthly you can just do it once whenever you feel like doing it so I definitely asked my stylist to give me some pieces that I can kind of dress up so let me show you what she sent me another cool thing I noticed is that I got the same stylus from my first fix which is great because if you remember from the first fix I kept all five pieces so Britney you're doing a good job so I I got Britney again and on my little card here she says hey Vanessa I'm so glad you enjoyed your last fix for your blogger conference I wanted to help you find Chic pieces that can easily transition from day to night that's exactly what I need so she put in a Blazer some cute tops and things like that that I can use with jeans or skirts or slacks so I like to have that kind of variety as well again if you're not familiar with Stitch fix they send you your invoice they send you a personalized little card and when you pop it open it's all these different little cards where they show you they feature the piece that they've included and they dress it up in two different styles right so they style it one is more casual and one is a little bit dressier you basically pay 20 bucks to have the stylist pick out these five pieces for you and then after it gets to you you can try all the pieces on you can return them all back if you don't like them if they don't fit and the way to do that is to put it in the prepaid little bag that they have already included for you so you can literally just throw everything in here and put it in the in the mail and all you would be out is the 20 bucks for The Styling fee so it's a great way even to try it out and see what they would send you or get an idea for some different things that maybe you would never pick up at the at at a store right so let me start you off with the pieces first off is this top I really liked it my favorite thing about it it's polyester and I kind of live in Florida so this is not the best type of fabric but I will tell you what the sleeves are not polyester they're actually a rayon and spandex blend so I'm usually bigger in my arms anyways so if it's a woven top it's usually not going to fit me in my arms even if it fits me everywhere else so because this top has this stretch knit for the arms it makes it both breathable especially for your underarm area it stretches to accommodate my arms so I actually really like this little shirt the second top they sent me and I don't know about this Britney girl but she gets my style dead on when I first looked at the shirt I'm like eh it's kind of dark and like these big metal things on it are not that cute to me I did like the little detail on the sleeve this is like the back of the sleeve it goes up like that but again it has like this metal hardware there and I wasn't very impressed with the shirt when I first took it out but when I put it on it's a whole another story right super cute so I like that one too this is probably my favorite top it's rayon and spandex I love that blend it's really soft and it stretches has really good stretch return on it and you can see it's really like modern looking it's striped but it has like these raw edges where the knit is just cut it's not even finished and so it's like a really cool modern asymmetrical top it looks a little crazy but it looks really nice on me I like how it fits nice and fitted and it's still breathable even though it's long sleeves I obviously won't be wearing this in Florida during the summer but I really like the way that it fits and it's comfortable and it's different looking you know my friends are definitely going to ask me about this when they see me wearing it so I really like this one as well the last piece of clothing that they sent me was this Blazer it's a stretch knit Blazer I love the lining this black and white inside the Blazer stretches so it's not woven which is great it is polyester Spandex and then the inside is rayon in Spandex and you can see how it looks on as you can tell it fits me a little small I was so devastated even though it stretches I really wanted it to fit a little nicer because I can definitely not button it up like I'll show you it's a medium but it definitely runs small I mean I know my arms are bigger usually but this medium is just small you can see that it's just too tight it's too tight here but I really like it it's nice and fitted and the fact that it's stretches it really just gives this really nice look to it and this is just with a black T-shirt under and some jeans and I love the look I mean so those were the four garment pieces they sent me and then the fifth piece was a little bracelet set and I'll show you a closeup here so you can see how cute these little bracelets are it's the same bracelet just one in silver and one in gold and it's basically a little belt buckle so even though the Blazer fit me too small I'm anticipating losing a little more weight and hopefully I'll be able to fit into it if not I guess I'll give it to my sister or something but either way it was worth it for me because the five things that they send you if you decide to keep all five pieces from your fix then you get 25% off the entire total and so for the five pieces that I got the total ended up being $262 but because I purchased all five I got 25% off and then also don't forget that the $20 styling fee that you pay to have the stylist pick the items out for you and ship them to you that's also deducted from your total so that 20 bucks if you decide to keep anything from your box those 20 bucks for The Styling feet go towards your balance so I saved an almost $61 more so everything came out to about $181 which is still a lot but I'm kind of in love with this personal styling service and I'm excited to keep trying it out and see what I get in my future fixes especially since I've seen from a lot of people who maybe keep one or two pieces or or are haven't been very satisfied with their fixes but this is crazy because I've done one and now two boxes and I've kept all five pieces in both boxes so to my Stitch fix friends out there if you're watching don't change Britney as my stylist she apparently knows my style to the tea so hopefully I'll let you guys know what happens in my third fix which I've scheduled for I think May or end of April or something and so when I get that third box I'll do another video and let you guys know how it went if you are wanting to give Stitch fix a try make sure that you use the link I've included below so I can get credit for it it's included right below this video here on YouTube and then remember that when you create your own account then you will also get your referral link so make sure that you post that on your Facebook and share it with your friends and family so you two can earn credit for your future
