going to go ahead and unbox it and see what all comes inside the box the first thing on top over here is the Nikon MH 24 battery charger we'll put that aside we have a disc in here along with some firmware updates etc let's see what else we have of course have the lens so this comes with a standard 1855 millimeter lens it is a pretty nice and sturdy lens from Nikon it's the same less that they used on the 3100 so not a lot has changed since then you do have vibration reduction which is there a version of anti shake and you do have a toggle for automatic and manual switch open it up and you will see that it's an F 3.5 to 5.6 1855 millimeter lens you can see the glass over here and I can extend it all the way let's see if I can get some focus in here and there you can see how it looks really nice AFS Nikkor lens 1855 millimeter Nikon DX so we'll put that aside now and then you have audio and video cable so as you can see we have the nice new cherry right color Nikon 3200 it's very nice and bright red color if you are into those sort of things this camera will definitely get you some attention if you are a starting photographer if you're a seasoned photographer then you don't the attention so you can just get it for good looks if you think that it's a nice looker so let's take a look at the body of the camera and I see what all we have so on the table over here you have a hot shoe mount which is here you also have an integrated hot shoe cover you also have a pop-up flash that will fire whenever you need it the microphone is located over here you do have a mode selection dial and you have a guide in that as well so a program auto mode a shutter speed priority aperture priority full manual control and then you have some scene modes macro moving short this is possibly for portrait this is landscape now this is possibly for baby so baby shots landscape portrait without flash and full auto mode and then you have a dedicated movie recording button this does do Full HD video recording that's nice you do have an info button over here and exposure value adjustment button over here so that's nice your on and off switch is over here along with the shutter button which is located over here on the front of the camera you will see a focus guide light a button to remove the lens and the lens cap that covers a twenty four point two megapixel CMOS sensor so that's nice in fact let's put on the lens the lens goes on like that and that's what the camera looks like with the lens on fairly nice looker and you can see that the lens doesn't extend a long way as opposed to some other cameras that have a very nice and long lens so let's look at the back over here this is where most of the things are happening you have a play preview button the main menu
