Xiaomi Mi6 Unboxing and First Look - iGyaan

**Xiaomi Mi 6 Review**

The Xiaomi Mi 6 is a flagship killer that has been making waves in the tech world with its impressive features and affordable price tag. One of the first things that caught our attention was the phone's design, which is similar to the Samsung S8 with glass curving on all sides, both on the back and front. However, unlike the Samsung S8, the Mi 6 does not have an edge display.

Upon taking the phone out of its box, we were greeted by a black silicon back cover that seems to be extremely reflective. The phone also comes with some documentation, including a SIM ejector tool, a USB type-c charging cable, and a USB wall charger that supports quick charge 3.0. It's worth noting that this variant has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of on-board storage, although the cheaper 64GB variant is also available.

**Design and Display**

The front of the phone features an 8-megapixel camera, a 5.1-inch 1920x1080p display with 428 pixels per inch, and a 94.4% color gamut. The back of the phone has two identical drills, one for the speakerphone and the other for the microphone, along with a USB type-c port that can also be used for charging and data syncing. On the right side is the power and volume button, while on the left side is where the SIM tray is located. One of the most interesting features of the phone is its camera, which has dual sensors - one is wide-angle and the other is telephoto, allowing for optical zoom just like an iPhone 7 Plus.

**Camera**

The Mi 6's camera is definitely one of its standout features. The phone comes with a 12-megapixel primary sensor on the back, along with a 12-megapixel telephoto lens that allows for optical zoom. This is not the only interesting thing about the camera - the phone also has LED flash in dual tone, which adds to the overall camera experience. However, it's worth noting that the phone does not have water resistance, but rather splash resistance, and it's not certified to IP67 standards.

**Performance**

The Mi 6 is powered by a Snapdragon 805 octa-core chipset, running at 2.45GHz, along with the new Adreno 540 GPU, which runs at 653MHz. This should provide smooth performance for most users, although high-end games may still be a bit of a challenge.

**Battery Life**

The phone comes with a 3350mAh battery that should last about a day without any issues, according to Xiaomi. The quick charge 3.0 support is also a welcome feature, allowing the phone to quickly top up its battery in no time.

**User Interface**

The Mi 6 runs on MeUI 8 with Android 7.1.1 out of the box. One of the most interesting aspects of the user interface is the Xiaomi assistant, which is located on the left side of the home screen. However, it's worth noting that this assistant doesn't seem to work properly in India, at least for now.

**Conclusion**

The Mi 6 is a great option for those looking for an affordable flagship killer with impressive features and a comfortable design. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of its more expensive competitors, it's still a solid choice for anyone looking for a high-end smartphone without breaking the bank. With its fast performance, excellent camera, and long battery life, the Mi 6 is definitely worth considering.

completely reflective it was in fact extremely difficult to capture this one video the design of the phone is pretty much like the Samsung s8 with glasses curving on all sides on the back on the front but the phone does not have an edge display like the Samsung s8 and the S 8 plus if you talk about everything that's inside the phone the phones running on a Snapdragon 805 octa-core chipset it is running at 2.45 gigahertz you also get the new Adreno 540 GPU which is running at 653 megahertz like I said previously this variant has 6 gigabyte of RAM along with 128 gigabyte of on-board storage but you can get the cheaper 64 gigabyte variant as well the phone does have a 3350 milliamp hour battery with quick charge 3.0 supported and the phone should last about a day according to Shami without any issues and one of the most interesting aspects of the phone is the camera and the camera does have dual sensors one is the wide and one is a tele it allows you to an optical zoom just like water resistance so this one definitely left out on that as far as the user interface is concerned it's fast and responsive and is also the xiaomi assistant the smart assistant on the left of the home screen which doesn't seem to work properly in india at least for now the phone feels really comfortable in the hand thanks to its curved edges but it's definitely a fingerprint magnet and you will
