FEENIX ARIA PREMIUM GAMING HEADPHONES REVIEW

The Phoenix Area Premium Gaming Headphones: A Review by Chris from Daily Tech

Hey what's up guys it's chris from daily tech i'm back today with a review of the phoenix area premium gaming headphones i don't know about you but when I think about gaming headphones the first word that comes to mind is ugly but that's exactly the opposite of what I thought when I first saw the Phoenix Arya's with these headphones it's really great to see a company thinking outside the typical gamer box and creating a product that isn't just functional i feel like these headphones actually redefine gaming culture and aim to make it more accessible and more stylish while also pushing the boundaries of performance so let's get into it

Let me get this out of the way right off the bat these are the nicest sounding headphones I've ever tested gaming or otherwise since i started daily tech that's over three years and 20 plus headphones I'm just blown away by how nice everything sounds through these headphones whether it's games or music or podcasts and that's partly due to the fifty millimeter full range neodymium magnet drivers which are huge and actually everything about these headphones is huge from the way they look on your head they're enormous actually to the actual sound which is larger than life with the Arya's it's the details that you can pull out of the sound that are so impressive I've been hearing lots of things I've never heard before I swear I can hear yo-yo ma breathing on his most popular track on Apple music simple gifts and I was watching a recent mkbhd video the state of 4k early 2016 and I can clearly hear background noises I've never heard before like a heater and cars driving by outside the window so imagine having that kind of detail showing up in your headphones while you're playing a game like counter-strike that's what you call a competitive advantage now the sign of a good pair of headphones isn't loudness its clarity and that's exactly what you get with the Phoenix Arya's there's studio quality headphones and I have to say that listening to music with them is beyond great the sound is crisp and detail rich and the base is ultra punchy without being grungy and voices and instruments are really sharp overall you could say the sound profile is very realistic it's what the person who created the sounds are you listening to intended for you to hear

The mic set up on the aria is interesting it's a detached mic which is nice so if you're only listening to music you don't have to have it connected but to use it you've got to plug the USB adapter into your computer and then plug the headphones and the mic into that adapter and the adapter also provides a few remote like options letting you hit mute or adjust the volume what really makes a studio quality mic awesome is that it's unidirectional so it's designed to only pick up what you're saying without all the background noise the Aria isn't over the ear headphone that makes it super comfortable because it doesn't sit on your ear so there's really no chance of ear fatigue setting in and wearing these headphones like checking your ears into a luxury hotel the memory foam ear cushions are plush beyond plush actually

The Phoenix Arya also comes with a trade-off you can't have the aria is out of this world sound and have a slim profile but i do love the materials at phoenix chose the Japanese pinewood paired with the aluminum and black accents make regular gaming headphones look like toys the cord for these headphones is just as massive as you might expect it's about four times thicker than your average headphone cord and it's also really because everything about these headphones is larger than life they really aren't that portable their gaming headphones first and foremost and they definitely feel at home at home so i wouldn't plan on taking these with you anywhere they're really just too big

So if you're looking for top-of-the-line gaming headphones I want them to give you an insanely great music experience whenever you take a break from that online gaming domination you can't go wrong with the Phoenix areas honestly i'd recommend these to anyone who just wanted really great sounding headphones gaming or otherwise i said it before but its worth saying one more time these are without a doubt the nicest sounding headphones that I've ever listened to

nicest sounding headphones I've ever tested gaming or otherwise since i started daily tech that's over three years and 20 plus headphones I'm just blown away by how nice everything sounds through these headphones whether it's games or music or podcasts and that's partly due to the fifty millimeter full range neodymium magnet drivers which are huge and actually everything about these headphones is huge from the way they look on your head they're enormous actually to the actual sound which is larger than life with the Arya's it's the details that you can pull out of the sound that are so impressive I've been hearing lots of things I've never heard before I swear I can hear yo-yo ma breathing on his most popular track on Apple music simple gifts and I was watching a recent mkbhd video the state of 4k early 2016 and I can clearly hear background noises I've never heard before like a heater and cars driving by outside the window so imagine having that kind of detail showing up in your headphones while you're playing a game like counter-strike that's what you call a competitive advantage now the sign of a good pair of headphones isn't loudness its clarity and that's exactly what you get with the Phoenix Art is there's studio quality headphones and I have to say that listening to music with them is beyond great the sound is crisp and detail rich and the base is ultra punchy without being grungy and voices and instruments are really sharp overall you could say the sound profile is very realistic it's what the person who created the sounds are you listening to to plug the USB adapter into your computer and then plug the headphones and the mic into that adapter and the adapter also provides a few remote like options letting you hit mute or adjust the volume what really makes a studio quality mic awesome is that it's unidirectional so it's designed to only pick up what you're saying without all the background noise the Aria isn't over the ear headphone that makes it super comfortable because it doesn't sit on your ear so there's really no chance of ear fatigue setting in and wearing these headphones like checking your ears into a luxury hotel the memory foam ear cushions are plush beyond plush actually and the over ear design does a great job ceiling out outside noises so the aria is really look about as good as any gigantic headphones can but by the nature of gigantic headphones they don't really look the best on a person's head like any pair of over your headphones iari has come with a trade-off you can't have the aria is out of this world sound and have a slim profile but I do love the materials at Phoenix chose the Japanese pinewood paired with the aluminum and black accents make regular gaming headphones look like toys the cord time these are without a doubt the nicest sounding headphones that I've ever listened to alright so thanks for checking out this review today guys let me know what you thought of the new intro
