toolset and what you get in this kit is fantastic you get a reciprocating saw a charger a driver drill an impact driver a work light and you get a bag which is fantastic it's huge it'll fit all these tools and more on top of that you get two batteries so that you always have one battery that's charged this battery here is an extended run battery and the second battery is just your normal 20 volt max battery that comes with the Kobalt line of tools the first hole I'm gonna go over is the cobalt drill driver look at the half-inch chuck goes from 1/16 of an inch all the way up to 1/2 inch so it accommodates really big drill bits there's an LED work light that comes on when you press the trigger and that is handy because when you're working in low light situations you want that this drill driver comes with a 24 position clutch so you can just easily move it back and forth and you go from high torque too low to work so this is for situations whereby you need to remove a stripped screw or you need to drill at high velocity through wood it has two speeds on it and speed one speed two and you can adjust the speed based on the type of work that you're doing speed one is great for drilling through metals and ceramics and things of that nature speed two is great for really high speed conditions where you have to drill through wood or you can use speed 2 for abrasives you can put in an abrasive brush and you can abrade whatever surface that you're working with the other cool thing is that it comes with a bit holder which I personally like because I tend to lose my bits you can just slide the bit right in there and it comes with a belt clip so that you can attach it to your belt one note here may sure that you have a heavy-duty belt on otherwise your pants will fall down I love this impact driver for two different reasons number one it is super powerful because it's got 20 volts behind it secondly it comes with an LED light that turns on when you press the trigger and finally which I haven't seen on too many models at this point it has a battery indicator so that when you press this button it shows you how much battery life you have left and that is super important when you're on the job like a traditional impact driver it comes with a quarter inch hex collar which makes moving bits in and out of the impact driver super easy you don't waste time when you're doing your project you can store the bit on the bit holder right here so you're not going to lose it and then finally it comes with a belt clip so that you can put this on your pants for easy accessibility the work light the 24 LED work light it's awesome primarily because you can stand it up and you can swivel it up and down or side to side and this makes it very versatile especially when you're working in tight conditions like under a bathroom cabinet or up in joists or within two by fours etc this little guy has plenty of light and again it uses the same battery as the all the other tools so that this battery is interchangeable and again you can see how much battery life you have left with this particular device the kubal reciprocating saw is super versatile and you are going to love it blade installation it's super easy place the blade clamp lever to the open position slide your blade in push it now away let go of the blade clamp lever and you're done of course you always want to take the battery out before you replace the blade again with the battery out you can adjust the base shoe so they can slide in or out and this is very helpful for different stroke adjustments for the blade the reciprocating saw also has an orbital function which makes the blade move in a circular motion this is good for when you need to cut through something in a speedy shame all you need to do is go from regular cut to down down to orbital cut but moving this switch up or down the charger is really easy to use slide your battery on and you're done but there's one thing that I really love about this charger and that is it shows you how much time is left on your charge so in this case 22 minutes way cool right the to empower 20 volt lithium-ion battery takes about 35 minutes to charge and the 20 volt 4 amp hour lithium-ion extended run battery takes about 45 minutes to charge the universal charger is named because it will charge lithium-ion batteries or nickel cadmium so if you have any older COBOL models that fit into this charger they'll charge as well these tools are nice and all but do they work how do i how am I gonna test them well this is some old water on a brick and this is a one-inch masonry bit just so you know this is hard mortar so we'll the drill driver goes through this that is the question so I have it set to 1 and kind of an intermediate torque setting on the clutch so let's see here yes it will go through mortar so pretty powerful stuff right I have here a 4x4 and I fitted the impact driver with a speed bore and Irwin speed bore bit it's one and a quarter inches wide and I want to see will this impact driver go through the 4x4 we'll see look at that pretty impressive and then finally I have a six-inch head lock heavy-duty flat head fastener so I've used these before on my decks and stairs and stuff like that so I want to see will the impact driver push this fastener through this four by four yeah worked and the bag that comes with all the tools is super awesome because every single tool will fit in here easily and you'll have a ton of space to put even more stuff in here and that's why these tools are an awesome gift for
