More Modularity from Cooler Master!

A Look at the Master Case Pro 3 and Razer's Stealth Laptop

At Pax West 2016, we had the opportunity to check out the Master Case Pro 3, a micro ATX system designed by Cooler Master. This smaller version of their popular Maker series case is designed for those who want a compact system that still offers plenty of customization options.

One of the standout features of the Master Case Pro 3 is its top cover area. It can be lifted up to reveal the filter, allowing for more airflow or completely removed to give access to everything under it, including the radiator bracket. This modular design allows users to customize and upgrade their system as needed. The case also features five expansion slots, providing plenty of room for graphics cards, sound cards, and other components.

The side panel of the Master Case Pro 3 looks amazing, with a tempered glass finish that holds itself in place with a lock at the top. However, it's worth noting that this configuration is not exactly what you'll get when you purchase the case, as it's designed to fit the smaller Maker Five system. Instead, there's a small black bracket on the bottom that can be removed using screws, allowing users to customize their own power supply setup.

One of the unique features of the Master Case Pro 3 is its ability to accommodate a basement cover, which comes default in the case but can also be removed if desired. This allows for a full basement setup with tempered glass side panel, providing plenty of space for components and airflow. The case also features a click and clip rail system on the right-hand side, making it easy to install and remove graphics cards and sound cards.

In terms of support for cooling, the Master Case Pro 3 can accommodate two 140mm fans in the front, two 140mm fans in the top, and one 140mm fan in the back. This provides plenty of airflow to keep components cool, even with a powerful GPU installed. Additionally, there are two included hard drive bays that can hold three or two hard drives, respectively, as well as space for SSDs on top of the basement cover.

The Master Case Pro 3 also features USB 3.0 ports, a headphone and microphone jack, and power and reset buttons on the front. The top of the case functions as handles, making it easy to move around. With so many features packed into this compact system, it's no wonder that the Master Case Pro 3 is reminiscent of the popular Maker Five case.

Thanks to Razer for sending us a copy of their Stealth Laptop to check out at Pax West 2016.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enthank you to razer for sending us to pax west 2016 check out their stealth laptop in the video description down below today at cooler master we're checking out the master case pro 3. before we saw the master case maker 5 this is smaller this is a micro atx system there's five expansion slots this top cover area is pretty cool you can lift up the top little bit and it reveals the filter if you want a little bit more air flow or slide this completely off and you can reveal everything under that even the radiator bracket is removable that all ties into the idea of the maker series pots the the freeform modular system customize adjust upgrade as they show on the board right by my freaking head that's what all this kind of stuff is about fair warning however this is not the configuration that it will be in when you buy it this side panel looks amazing yes it's tempered glass blah blah it like holds itself in with the lock at the top which is super cool but it will come with something more like this not exactly this because this is for the maker five so it's a little bit too large for this case but there's the little black bracket on the bottom which you can actually remove using some screws but the reason why that is there is because you can see the power supply here and you can add this basement cover in yourself it comes by default in the case but you can remove it if you want and then that would create a full basement for you if you have the tempered glass system you would be able to keep the basement top cover on but you wouldn't have the side but if you have a pretty power supply it's probably fine using the click and clip rail system on the right hand side in this version of a setup you can see they have gpu supports installed if you move that rail just a little bit over you can use the two included hard drive bays one of which holds three hard drives the other one holds two hard drives in terms of ssd compatibility you can install two of them on top of this basement cover thingy and one on the back of the motherboard tray for i o on the front it has two usb 3.0 ports a headphone and microphone jack and a power and reset buttons also something i forgot about the top there's so many features on the top it also functions as handles so if you want to move your case around nice and easy in terms of support for cooling it can fit two 140 millimeter fans and applicable radiator in the front two 140 millimeter fans and applicable radiator in the top and a one 140 millimeter fan and applicable radiator in the back and all of those you could also do 120s if you wanted just in case anyways guys very reminiscent of the master case maker 5 so if you were a fan of that case but wanted a smaller system maybe a micro atx system this might be the way to go thank you to razer for sending us here this year to pax west 2016. check out their link in the video description down below to enter a
