**A Journey to Cuba: An Unforgettable Experience**
We're finally going to Cuba so we're gonna hurry get ready, we have to get to the airport early because of all of our paperwork in arriving it's a whole process to get into this country. I'm about to shower and put on some bug spray because I don't want to get chafed or Zika. We think girls wear sunglasses, we're about to get on the plane, gentleman. Libra works, we bought all of our sun protection that I'm going to take prophylactically so that I don't get travelers diarrhea. Watch out for that playing gate, that way hello make your life beyond loss belong, sorry la la la la it was boys everybody, I am Cuba.
We got the opportunity to come to this country that has been very restricted for Americans to visit, they're finally opening it up a little bit and we're here. We're going to convince you mind out about the history and culture of the place and see all the 1915 cars. Alright so now I'm in the hotel room of the Hotel Nacional, a historical hotel here in Cuba, I think it's the oldest hotel today. We just checked in and here are two creepy empty tiny rocking chairs that may or may not give me nightmares this evening. This hotel is really an example of what is sort of going on obviously all over Cuba do after they became a communist socialist country in 1959, I think don't quote me on that, a lot of countries including the U.S. stopped shipping them anything so the decor the architecture are all from the 50s.
First thank you but I am standing in front of Hotel Nacional, a historical hotel here in Cuba, I think it's the oldest hotel today, we're going out to investigate we're part of this group that was organized by Joey's dad he has a company called travel to remember a travel company Joey's mom is here too. We're just here to have a person-to-person cultural exchange for meeting a lot of artists and I'm really excited to experience the culture today, yeah let's go, Laurel we're just about more offices what they built to protect against pirates and Buccaneers but nervously where you were maybe they all want to protect them.
We're at having my house, after date of the house we've got the baseball sale for the local kids to entertain them and also get them to stop taking the fruit off the trees. Oh God, dirty I am Joey just play back and promote the D played baseball with the kids in Cuba and he brought around the bases he wasn't a home run but you did good it's really dirty though let's just see you're an attending Lane at natural habitat was he exiled well he sounded like he was a little cray-cray oh my gosh, he wrote naked and also killed himself so even though he lives in the beautiful house wasn't too happy of a camper.
We're at a house that is covered entirely in tile entirely in tile you in Havana and today we are in Old Havana or the city started so there's some really old building a lot older than me and we're going to investigate and then do other stuff but right now we're going to go walk around this beautiful city, hey guys we're going to a dance academy to see some local Cuban dancers. We're about to go to this community center that was built by the locals and it's an art exchange thing and we're going to meet the artists and musicians, yeah I'm excited all right this is the guy that are just dancing with upstairs this statue dan spoons pretty accurate beer in one of the little scooter caps in Havana.
We're headed to an epidural because why not only half what are we doing are now bringing me one. Oh we're here at the beach okay it's called officially vada dad oh it's a beautiful white sand aqua blue water beach Americans obviously haven't been able to come here for a while or pretty lucky to be here enjoying this awesome late oh my gosh I can't believe it, it is our last day in Cuba. It really flew by like this trip was such an eye-opening experience I learned so much about a country that I really didn't know much about was totally not what I expected it to be with such like an infamous country to us American like socialist and to the jell Castro a lot of course while I was here I didn't meet Fidel Castro.
I hung out with the Cuban people who are all awesome and they were all really open and honest with us about like the struggle that is Cuba that life is difficult here and they're excited for change and I'm excited for them. So thank you for coming along on our travel journey, still trying to speak Spanish my head it is time to go Joey's time to go we gotta go get on a plane I'm gonna play writer this beautiful beach the beautiful people and get back to the kitty and our home you got Cuba, we like you ah ah do don't we get out.
