things so you'll need redstone 0.9.15 beta 3 and you will need your ios 6.0 ipsw firmware file for your respected device and you can find both of those things down below in the description there will be a link to my website where you can find downloads to both let's go ahead and get into red snow inside you want to go to extras select ipsw and select your firmware file wherever it may be mine's on my desktop okay i'm going to go back and jailbreak now on your device you're going to want to go ahead and power it off now in redstone you will see this little menu you just want to make sure install cydia is checked and go ahead and select next if your device isn't off it'll tell you to do so here but go ahead and select next and we're going to go ahead and place our device into dfu mode as soon as we click next so go ahead and do that and you're going to want to immediately hold the power button for three two one together with the home button for ten nine eight seven six five four three two one go ahead and let go of the power button and continue holding the home button until you do see the red snow begins jail jailbreaking your device upon reboot you will find city on your springboard if you try to open it it'll go ahead and close just like that that's fine and this is what i mean by semi on tether jailbreak you can still reboot your device but cydia and your safari application will not work until you go ahead and reboot using red snow so that's what i'm about to show you and you do this of course every single time your battery dies or after you reboot your iphone so in red snow go back and this time you'll want to go ahead and select your ipsw once again okay and go to just boot tethered right now once again power off your device we are placing our device into dfu mode what that means is as soon as you click next you're going to hold the power button for three seconds together with the home button for 10 seconds and then you're going to click over the power button and continue holding the home button until you do see that red snow begins booting up your device and once you do have this down i'll be right back your device will respring and i have seen a bug where you can't slide for some reason it may or may not be because of the jailbreak just power power and eventually will start working but go ahead and slide to unlock and now you can go ahead and open up cydia so from here you guys are now fully jailbroken on ios 6.0.1 of course do not forget this is a semi onto the jailbreak have a computer nearby if you do plan on rebooting but anyways you
