The Great Mid-Engine Showdown: M2 vs Porsche 718 Cayman S

Welcome to one of our occasional series of battles closed circuit slugfest absolute elation yes anyway we would like to know two things about these cars here one of which is which is fastest and the other one is which is more fun. Like the Ant and Dec of motoring on me anyway it's an M2 and a Porsche 718 Cayman S - so let's find out what flavor 7:18 is that this is a Cayman S so it's the sort of 2.5 litre 345 horsepower version which isn't quite as powerful or significantly isn't as talky as what you're driving a used Spanish or you automatic I am if panic I think I have if I have a manual gearbox nobody's going to understand a word we're saying Spanish Manuel is very straightforward it's very straightforward yeah I'm Manuel as well you can't get comes around as an option on this and you can't get adaptive dampers as an option on this.

Have you got bike yes I have right okay see what it's like loads of talk in this module Amazon three and a half thousand reps I suppose they would be it looks like it pulls away down the straights stops well enough good pedal feel and if you're expecting a really Larry 370 horsepower rear drive front engine car this isn't it and it's not if not unless you really want it to be just threatens to go there you can hear the res rise cutting and the diff kicks in and it just straightens its line a bit on the throttle but it's not mega mega sideways everywhere these mid-engine Caymans its stable on the throttle initially so you do have to unsettle it a little bit to introduce a bit of playfulness that you want but if your trailer brakes I suspect you can have as much as you need please pass it on the straights unforgiving the apex down the straights I think it's got the edge on the Porsche but through the corners it has not maybe unsurprisingly RMT I think I'm faster but I keep up with the with a world driven claimant.

But really quite grippy quite adjustable disinclined to let go until I just can't keep them put them through the corners this inclined to let go unless you really ask it to now the porter is getting further and further away remove him from the Randy mirrors nicely balanced though this really nice poise and balance to it I like it steadily and surely he's getting smaller I cant keep up with it mate I cant keep up with you that is the faster car yeah I think you're right mate I'm man I'm having up quite a lot of fun and also going one quickly what oh I'm having to work for at me.
