WWDC 2023 Will Surprise Us! _ Here is EVERYTHING We Know!

Apple's Foray into Reality Headset Market: A Potential Game-Changer?

The tech world has been abuzz with speculation about Apple's upcoming reality headset, codenamed Pro. With rumors swirling about its potential features and price point, one thing is certain – this product is going to be a premium three thousand dollar item. The question on everyone's mind is whether it will be more accessible at $500 to $1000 dollars or if it's going to be a complete replacement for our workflow. As Apple has done an excellent job of keeping this reality headset under wraps, we have enough information to know that there's something happening in this product category three.

This is the first time in a very long time that Apple introduces a brand new product category into the Apple ecosystem, and it's exciting to see how they'll sell it. I don't think it's going to be a standalone product that's going to be a computer built into your head; instead, I believe it's going to work perfectly alongside Mac OS, iPad OS, iOS, making sure that it kind of enhances our Apple ecosystem experience but not something that's absolutely needed. We'll have to wait and see what Apple does with their software – the reality headset OS, which is supposed to be xros.

It's rumored that Apple will be leaning more into augmented reality versus virtual reality, but let's see what they do because I'm excited to see what they do with it. What it's going to look like, what the price point is going to be – these are all questions that we'll have to wait for answers on. As someone who's tried Meta Quest and Sony's VR with the PlayStation, I can confidently say that while they're fun for a second, I've never put them back on after the initial excitement wears off. Once I get that out of my system, I don't really use them again.

However, I know a lot of people actually use their AR/VR headsets for productivity, gaming, and other purposes. It's clear that Apple needs to change my mind if they want me to adopt this technology into my workflow. The key will be making it accessible, user-friendly, and seamlessly integrated with our existing Apple devices.

Apple's presentation style is a crucial aspect of their product unveilings, and I expect them to focus on showcasing the benefits of their reality headset rather than going into too much technical detail. They're experts at presenting what they want to show off and controlling the narrative, so it's likely that we won't see any mentions of AI or machine learning – instead, Apple will focus on building an ecosystem that makes the experience as easy and intuitive as possible for us users.

Another aspect that has been shrouded in mystery is the potential presence of a Mac Pro at this event. It's now over two years since Apple transitioned from Intel to empowered MacBooks, but they've yet to announce a replacement for the Mac Pro with an M chip. Perhaps they're waiting to see how their new reality headset market plays out before making a move. Maybe they'll create an M Ultra super Max Plus who knows? The point is that Apple has plenty of space at their disposal, and it's exciting to think about what they could do with it.

As we wait for the keynote presentation, I'm excited to see what Apple will bring to the table. Will they surprise us with a new feature or two? Will they announce a price point that makes this reality headset more accessible? One thing is certain – I'll be watching closely and sharing my thoughts with all of you in the comments below.

If you're as excited as I am, let's make some predictions about what we can expect from iOS and iPad OS updates. What new features do you think Apple will introduce? Are there any hardware expectations that you have for future devices?

Before we wrap up, I'd like to give a shoutout to Michael Latta, who commented on one of our previous videos. If you're interested in seeing more content about iOS, iPad OS, or Mac OS, be sure to check out some of our other videos by clicking on the links below.

That's it for today's article – thank you for making it to the end, and we'll catch you all in the next video!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: endo you hear that everybody that's what I call the Calm before the storm we are less than a week away from WWDC 2023 which starts June 5th and Apple's going to be releasing a bunch of new software products as well as probably some Hardware so in this video what I want to do is have a discussion of what we expect what's more certain versus more speculative are we going to be getting those AR VR goggles is it going to be three thousand dollars let's talk about everything that we know with WWDC 2023 and see exactly what's reality versus not excuse the pun there let's get into it so for those of you that want to watch WWDC the first thing I want to mention is that it is going to be happening at least the big day the big announcement day is June 5th and it's going to be at 10 A.M Pacific Time meaning 1 p.m eastern time and I'm going to be live tweeting everything so definitely follow me on Twitter to make sure you get all the reaction in real time because I do believe that this is going to be a very interesting WWDC compared to the ones that we've had in the past because there's still a lot of speculation as to what is really coming out what we're gonna get what is speculation versus an actual Rumor for something that we're actually gonna get so first let me get into what we're actually expecting and what we're sure fire things that we're gonna get at WWDC so obviously we're going to be getting iOS and iPad OS 17. they will be announced and some of the features that we're looking at in terms of what we're getting and what we've heard is that with iOS 17 we will be getting a few new features as well some new native applications the first one is going to be a dedicated journaling app so Apple has been big into their mental health game so adding a journaling app where you wake up and you build habits of writing down three things you're grateful for three things you want to improve on or just maybe you want to jot down some notes or maybe you just want to write down what you're thinking it's going to be supposedly different than the regular Notes application I'm going to say that it's probably going to be a lot of similarities as well but apple is supposed to be giving us a brand new native journaling application coming with iOS and iPad OS 17. another new feature that we should be getting on iOS 17 and this is going to be only for the iPhone 14 pro and pro Maxim and then obviously the iPhone 15 lineup so basically any iPhone that has always on display Tech we'll be getting this new kind of smart display feature if you guys own an Apple Watch it's going to be similar to this probably but with more information so if you use an Apple Watch and you put it to charge on your bedside table and you put it horizontally everything kind of shifts in the text and the clock shifts horizontally and that's supposed to be like your nightstand mode on your Apple watch so apple is going to be adopting this for iOS 17 on the always on display supported iPhones so the idea is to have a new horizontal interface that gives you the lock screen but on top of giving you just the time it's going to give you calendar updates and maybe what you have going on the next morning or maybe the weather for the next morning so you know what to expect that's going to be great so on top of all that apple is going to be adding some more functionality into the health app now recently I've been big into the Apple Health app I've been using Apple Fitness plus I've been using the health app in conjunction I got my Apple watch on the health app this year is supposed to be adding some sort of mood and emotion tracking interface and user experience so being able to track your mood on a day-to-day basis it's going to ask you specific questions about the day probably about how you feel you know what made you feel this way so they can track your mood over time and see how it is on a curve like maybe one day maybe on Mondays you're a little bit more stressed out because it's the beginning of the week versus on a Friday you're very happy for the weekend to start so you can go out and do whatever you need to do so Apple will be helping you track that along the way so you can kind of find some sense of consistency overall I think which again at the end of the day all about mental health all about managing stress levels in today's society Apple's really diving deep into that which I'm all for now this next one is actually going to be big for everybody but outside of the U.S side loading will finally be coming to iOS 17. unfortunately it's not coming to the US but because of legislation in the EU apple is now going to have to allow third-party app stores to live on iOS so you can side load applications and be able to download applications outside of the App Store so again this is only going to be part of the EU so if you are in that region of the world definitely let me know if you do get to iOS 17 and what that experience is like because I'm going to be curious to know like I said reach out to me on Twitter because I'm going to be very curious and we're going to be covering this throughout the coming months and I do plan on installing iOS 17 beta 1 on my main device to see what it's like to be living with iOS 17 before it even comes out it's probably going to be extremely buggy but I'm willing to take that risk for you guys and then we also have some other rumors so we're supposed to get some new Apple wallet upgrades what those upgrades are we're still not 100 sure but Apple's supposedly going to revamp it you know this year Apple did introduce two new wallet features which is the buy now pay later feature which is still being rolled out and still kind of in its infancy not everybody can use it like I don't have access to it but they also added their high yield savings accounts which I do have access to and I have a full video if you guys do want to check that out I'll link it down below but apple is supposed to be bringing some new UI features some new wallet features more and more states are allowing the rollout of digital IDs to be your main ID so I think now we're up to five states as opposed to just being in one state so little by little apple wallet is getting more functionality and we will be able to kiss good by you know our actual physical wallets very soon in my opinion so an iPad OS 17 is what I'm very curious about because Apple did really push forward iPad OS 16 last year right even though it took a little while for the rollout to happen and there was some limitations as to what iPad support things like stage manager and extended monitor support apple is really shifting what the iPad is it's not really a full computer replacement for some people for some people it is a computer like myself and for some people it's still just a large iPhone but the iPad now has stage manager it's got full real extended monitor support we have things like logic pro and Final Cut Pro so Apple it's they kept it kind of quiet in terms of what they're going to be doing with with iPad OS 17 the only real concrete leak that we have is that apple is going to be bringing the health and fitness application to the iPad as of right now there's no Health app on the iPad the only real fitness app is if you have Fitness Plus so you can actually get a view into being able to watch your actual fitness routines through the Fitness Plus application but outside of that there's no real management of your rings there's no ability to share anything inside of that application so bringing the health features to the iPad I think is going to be great because bigger screen bigger interface better graphs better data viewing I'm all for it and then also hopefully Apple's gonna be bringing all those lock screen customizations that we have IOS 16 over to iPad OS 17 because again the lock screen ever since Apple got rid of it today view it's just been very meh in my opinion I missed the today view I hope they bring that back I want those customizations to come to the iPad lock screen because there's just so much screen real estate that we could take full advantage of it with a bunch of widgets a bunch of different fonts a bunch of different kind of customizations like I mentioned and complications so bringing that to iPad OS 17 will be great but again that's not really going to change much function it's just going to be more of an appeal thing and an aesthetic thing but let's see what Apple does with iPad OS 17 maybe they surprise us and drop some awesome Hardware or maybe they give us that 14.1 inch iPad Pro that we've been logging we've been wanting so those were the main updates that I wanted to bring up with iOS and iPad OS 17. we should be getting Mac OS as well as well as TV OS watch OS 10 all those things but those are kind of mini and Apple's done a great job of keeping that under Ram so we don't really know too much of what they're going to be doing a lot of it is going to be bug improvements and stability improvements making sure that everything is crisp and tight and making sure that it works extremely well for everybody so definitely like I said stay subscribed because we will be downloading all these betas onto our main devices so you guys don't have to but in terms of Hardware this is where things are going to get a little bit interesting because we could get nothing but we could also get a bunch of new products so the first thing that I want to mention is that a 15 inch MacBook Air has been talked about has been in the works and is supposedly already in manufacturing plants so the 15 inch MacBook Air I think is going to be a game changer for a lot of people because the MacBook Pros even though yes they are great computers and for you to get something that's bigger than that 13.6 inch screen of the M2 MacBook Air you're gonna have to spend at least two thousand dollars on a 14 inch MacBook Pro or 2500 on a 16 inch MacBook Pro and not everybody needs all that power but they want that screen real estate and not everybody wants that mini LED display either so if Apple brings us a 15 inch MacBook Air and M2 version with 256 to 512 gigs of storage with the regular non-mini LED display but a 15 inch form factor at around 1500 bucks I think that's going to be an absolute game changer for a lot of people I'm somebody that would line up to definitely get that because the empty MacBook Air for me has been an absolute Delight but again if a 15 inch MacBook Air is around the corner we might have to trade in the 13-inch one for the 15 inch one as long as it keeps that slender form factor as long as it stays light as long as I still have that midnight blue color or midnight black color and again I don't need to have a mini LED display I don't need an M2 Pro or an M2 Max chip because my M2 MacBook Air is for emailing it's for using slack but I do like being able to have more screen real estate on the go and then the last rumor which we've been getting a lot of rumors for the past I don't even know I think seven years since the first kind of rumor came out is Apple's new virtual reality or augmented reality headset so the reality Pro alongside their operating system we still don't know how Apple's gonna sell it is going to be a premium three thousand dollar product is it going to be more accessible at like 500 to a thousand dollars is it supposed to supplement your workflow is it supposed to completely replace your workflow so as I mentioned before Apple's done a great job of keeping this reality headset Pro Under Wraps but we have enough information to know that there is something happening in this product category three and it's this is gonna be the first time in a very long time that Apple introduces a brand new product category into the Apple ecosystem so again I'm very curious to see how Apple sells it I don't think headset OS I think Apple's going to be leaning more into augmented reality versus virtual reality but let's see what Apple does because I am excited to see what they do with it what it's going to look like what the price point is going to be and let me know in the comment down below is this something that you want to see apple do you want Apple to get into the AR VR headset game because me personally I've tried I've tried metas Quest I've tried Sony's VR with the PlayStation and they're fun for a second it's cool to kind of show off to your family but after that one or two days you know I've never put it back on like I've never used it for more than like a day or two after I first get it and once I get that out of my system then I don't really use it again because for me it's kind of like a novelty it's kind of gimmicky it's one of those things you just show off when you have it but I know a lot of people actually use it for productivity I know a lot of people use it to play games I'm just not one of those people so let's see if Apple Can Change My Mind by bringing it into my ecosystem and into my workflow and that is pretty much everything that we have in terms of what we expect right so obviously it's going to be a big software focused presentation Apple's gonna be giving us all these graphs with you know no real context saying that they're 18 times better than the closest Windows laptop from you know 2017 or something like that but apple is really good at presenting what they want to show off and making sure that they control the narrative I don't think they're going to be talking anything about Ai and I'm going to replace AI with machine learning Apple normally kind of focuses away and does it their own way because you saw Google mention AI a million times Apple's not going to do that and they're going to focus on what they do best which is building an ecosystem making the experience that much easier for you to use I'm also curious to know if Apple's going to be talking about a Mac Pro at any point because it has been now over two maybe even three years now at this point since Apple's made the transition or started the transition from Intel to empowered MacBooks so Apple has still not made a replacement to the Mac Pro with the M chip because maybe they think it'll be too overpowered they probably don't know how to price it you know all that space what are they going to do with all that space that they now don't need because of their efficient empowered chips maybe they got to make an M Ultra super Max Plus who knows but at the end of the day I am excited for this keynote hopefully Apple Wows us and they're able to show us a bunch of stuff maybe they add that one more thing line which they like to do at the end of presentations but let me know in the comment down below what you think what are you excited for what are some of the expectations you have for iOS and iPad Os or maybe even Mac OS as well as some of the hardware expectations that you have if you didn't make it to the very end leave a little dolphin this might be a little bit of a long video so thank you for making it to the end and Shout Out Michael Latta for commenting on one of our last videos if you guys want to be mentioned in the next video comment on this video and I might choose you guys to shout you out so big shout out to everybody that watches to the very end but that's gonna do it if you guys want to watch more iOS iPad Os or Mac OS videos click on one of these videos right here and until next time I'm Fernando I'm out of here everybody peacedo you hear that everybody that's what I call the Calm before the storm we are less than a week away from WWDC 2023 which starts June 5th and Apple's going to be releasing a bunch of new software
