Unboxing and Review: Black Switch Easy Capsule Rebel Case for iPhone 4
Hello YouTube, this is Detroit Borg, and welcome back to my channel for another review. Today, I'm excited to share with you an unboxing and review of the black Switch Easy Capsule Rebel case for the iPhone 4. As some of you may know, I previously reviewed the white version of this case, and I must say that I was very impressed with its design, functionality, and overall quality.
To start, let's take a look at the contents of the box. Inside, we have the black Switch Easy Capsule Rebel case, along with a few accessories such as screen protectors, dock adapters, a video stand, headphone protectors, microfiber cloth, and an instruction booklet. This is the same set of accessories that came with the white version of the case, so it's great to see that they've included everything we need to get started.
Now, let's take a closer look at the case itself. As you can see from the picture, the black Switch Easy Capsule Rebel case has a similar design to the white version. It features a hybrid construction with a soft TPU-like material on the inside that wraps around the phone and protects it from scratches and drops. The exterior is made of a harder material, such as polycarbonate or ABS, which provides additional protection against impact.
One of the key features of this case is its ease of use. As Detroit Borg mentions in his review, "You have plenty of access to the controls." This refers to the fact that the case has been designed with a recessed area for the home button and other controls, allowing you to easily press them while wearing the case. The buttons themselves are also very responsive and feel great under the fingers.
Another feature that's worth mentioning is the camera and flash opening. Detroit Borg notes that there is "a very generous opening" for these components, which helps to reduce glare from the screen. This is a great design decision, as it makes it easier to take photos in bright environments without having to worry about reflections or glare.
The case also features a curved spine on the back, which gives it a unique and stylish look. However, this design choice does have some drawbacks. As Detroit Borg mentions, "it won't lay flat on the table." This is because of the curved shape, which can make the case difficult to place flat on a surface.
Overall, I'm very impressed with the black Switch Easy Capsule Rebel case for the iPhone 4. Its design, functionality, and overall quality make it a great choice for anyone looking to protect their phone from scratches and drops. The fact that you can interchange the color of the spine and liner is also a nice touch, as it gives users more flexibility in terms of personalization.
If you're interested in purchasing this case, I recommend checking out the Switch Easy website or other online retailers that sell it. It's available for purchase at various price points, depending on the retailer and any promotions that may be currently running.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello youtube this is detroit borg and this review is essentially a sequel to these first switch easy capsule rebel unboxing i did the first one i got was the white one and you can see that right here on the phone itself i went ahead and ordered the black one as well because i'm very happy with the white one and i thought it'd be kind of nice to try the black one out as well so let me go ahead and get it out of its box so once again we have an inventory of all the accessories that switches includes with its cases including screen protectors dock adapters the video stand headphone and dock protectors or plugs as well as microfiber cloth so once again we have the capsule rebel inside a little cradle so let's just push that through inside the capsule rebel is the accessory box and we also have a cleaning cloth the squeegee for the screen protectors and here are the screen protectors and we also have a little piece of paper in here there we go here we go this is a hybrid case and i'll take it apart so you can see it but inside is the soft tpu-like material that wraps the phone in a softer material protects it from grit and drops and there's a harder exoskeleton on the outside now let's just take a look at the accessory box so here we have a black stand instead of a white one we also have black headphone plugs and the dock plug to protect them we also have the white and black dock adapters that fit this case of course black for black docks and white for white docks and we have a little instruction booklet now taking a look at the white and black case of course you can see that they're same design just a different color they have the same sort of matte finish to it and you can see the rubber part on the inside and the exoskeleton on the outside so let me go ahead and take this apart you just push it through and you can see that the buttons themselves come through the hard exoskeleton same with the top one it just peels out and there you go you have the hard frame on the outside and the soft tpu material on the inside i'm just going to slide the phone in just snaps on now we're going to put the hard case over it so there we go we have the black switch easy case and just to go briefly over what i've already done before again you have plenty of access to the controls the switch here is uh completely free there's a little recess so you do have to reach in there a bit to get at it but it's not a big problem the buttons feel very good they're a little stiffer than uh the switchyg trim case we also have the lock switch up here which is a little easier to push than the volume controls we have a very generous opening for the camera and flash with a nice blackened bezel which helps to mitigate glare from the flash itself and i've tested this in a variety of situations and there is no glare from the flash so everything is good there and on the bottom we have the openings for the speaker and microphone and also plenty of room for the dot connector on the bottom we also have plenty of room up here for the headphone jack and the microphone on the front we have a very generous lip around the glass so it gives you a good lay on table design so otherwise just like the white case it does its job very well feels great the texture is nice again it does have this curved spine on the back so it won't lay flat on the table sort of rocks around i suppose the one advantage to having the black case is you don't have this prominent black ring showing up like you do on the white iphone um this seems to be a little more seamless and what's great about this design is you can actually interchange these components so if you want the white liner with the black spine you can put them together or vice versa so let's go ahead and try that out so here we have the two cases interchange we have the white spine here black spine here it looks pretty interesting i'm not sure it's a design i'm going for but something that you certainly could do you can see on the side and top the colors are switched around switches he also sells a red version of this case so if you want red and white or red and black that's also an option okay guys so what do you like better do you like solid black solid white white spine or black spine let me know in the comment section below once again guys this is detroit borg with a quick
