**The Making of a Dream Vehicle**
We're dazed but we're in a good mood now that we've finished our latest project, and we can't wait to share it with everyone. We've finally completed half of the gears and lockers, which is a huge milestone for us. We're feeling pretty proud of ourselves because it's been a long process, but we know there's still more work to be done.
**The Importance of Torque Wrenches**
We were talking about our torque wrench earlier, and how it's a bit bendy-style. We're lucky to have such a versatile tool in our arsenal. It's amazing how something as simple as a torque wrench can make all the difference in the world. We've been using it to get every nut and bolt tightened just right.
**The Back Axle Done, Now What?**
We've already completed the back axle, which is a huge relief for us. Now it's time to move on to the front axle, where we'll be swapping out the old with the new. We're excited to see how everything comes together and how the final product turns out.
**Weather Conditions and the New Axle**
We had some cloudy weather today, but nothing too severe. The temperature was around 65 degrees Fahrenheit, which is perfect for working on our vehicle. We were able to get the new axle installed with ease, thanks in part to the new bearings we've put in place. Everything seems to be going smoothly so far.
**The Yukon Diff Cover and Locking Hubs**
We're loving our new diff cover and locking hubs. It's amazing how much of a difference they make when it comes to traction and control on the trail. We were able to get everything installed with ease, thanks in part to the fact that we had broken hubs before. Now we have the option to lock them up or run them freely.
**The Final Pieces Come Together**
We've finished running all the hoses, airlines, and wiring for our vehicle. It's been a long process, but it's finally come together. We're feeling pretty proud of ourselves, especially since Trevor stayed with us and helped with some of the work.
**Taco Bell Break and Upcoming Plans**
After finishing up, we decided to reward ourselves with a trip to Taco Bell. Trevor has been craving his favorite number four burrito with a Pepsi, so we made sure to get that for him. We're looking forward to fueling up our Jeep again to test out the lockers on Slip Lock.
**Slip Lock and The Rubicon Trail**
We're planning to tackle the Rubicon Trail with our new gearing and locking system. We'll be testing it out on both front and rear axles, which will give us a better understanding of how everything works together. We're excited to see how it performs and whether or not we can beat our dad's time.
**The Future of Matt's Off-Road Recovery**
As we wrap up this project, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me on my journey so far. Specifically, I want to thank Matt for giving me the opportunity to create my own YouTube channel, which is called Rudy's Adventure in Design.
**Personal Growth and Fabrication**
The personal growth I've experienced over the past couple years has been incredible, and it's all thanks to opportunities like this. I'm excited to share that growth with my audience through my channel, where I'll be focusing on fabrication, designing vehicles, testing, and exploring new trails. My hope is that my viewers will join me on these adventures and learn from each other in the process.
**The Road Ahead**
That's all for now. We're feeling pretty good about our project, but we know there's still more work to be done. Stay tuned for more updates from us as we continue to build and explore new trails.
