The Traveling Book Tag: A New and Exciting Literary Phenomenon
Hello everyone, today I'm here to talk about the traveling book tag, a relatively new concept that has been gaining popularity among book lovers. According to David, who is credited with starting this idea, the traveling book tag involves taking one of your books, mailing it to someone, and then having them send it back to you. The process repeats itself until the book finally returns to its original owner.
David took his idea for a Harry Potter book, either "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" or "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," and decided to mail it to someone. This person then drew in it, wrote in it, and highlighted in it, doing whatever their heart desired. The book was then sent back to David, who is now the third person to have this book after David himself. It seems that David had decided to send the book to Jamie at "Immer Good Books," and then Jamie passed it on to me.
When I received the book, I was thrilled because I know how much I love Harry Potter. In fact, my obsession with the series is second only to another favorite obsession of mine. I highlighted in the book, wrote in it, and drew in it, doing whatever came to mind. After completing my contributions to the book, I decided to keep it within the "Summer Spells" family, a group of friends that I am involved with. As such, I plan to send the book to Jessica over at "Price is Wong," who lives in Missouri.
The book has already traveled quite far since its initial departure from David's possession. According to my estimates, it has been sent from Canada to the West coast of Canada, then to the Eastern United States, and finally to the Midwest or central part of the US. I am excited to see where this book will go next, as it travels from person to person.
I must admit that I'm not an artist, and my artistic skills are limited to photography. As such, I didn't do too much with the book, but I had fun doing what I could. The book is now a unique creation that reflects the creativity of all those who have contributed to it.
Before I continue, I want to give credit where credit is due. Thank you, Jamie, for sending me this incredible gift. And thank you, David, for thinking up this brilliant idea that has brought so many people together through their love of books. If you're interested in trying out the traveling book tag for yourself, feel free to start your own journey by selecting a book and passing it on to someone else.
If you want to see what I did with my part of the book, I'll be showing you a montage later on. Keep in mind that my artistic skills are limited, but I tried my best to make something special out of this book. After completing my contributions, I hope that whoever receives the book will enjoy it just as much as I did.
Before we wrap up, I want to mention that if you're interested in seeing what Jamie did with his part of the book, I'll be leaving a link to their contribution right here. You can also send me your own travelogue for the book once it reaches you.
In conclusion, this is all for now. It's been an absolute pleasure talking about the traveling book tag, and I'm excited to see where this journey will take us. Thank you all for watching, and we'll catch up again soon.
