**The Mi 3 Review: First Impressions**
The camera performance on this device is actually pretty good, considering it has a 13 megapixel camera. I did not do extensive testing with the camera, but yes, I took a couple of shots and would say overall that the camera does a fairly good job in my opinion.
Some of you have also asked me about USB OTG support, which this device does support out of the box. It also has a built-in file manager using which you can access the files. Yes, USB OTG is there, but this device does not have a micro SD card slot, so the storage is what you get, and India is selling the 16GB variant as of now.
**Battery Life Test**
The battery life on this device is also pretty good. I'm unable to comment about the battery at this moment because it's still in its initial testing phase, but I can give you my initial impressions. The battery life is actually pretty good; it lasted me 36 hours of usage, which is above average for a device that wasn't doing too much gaming. From the screenshot, as you can see, the battery life is pretty good.
I used it yesterday, and I was out almost half a day, with it on 3G connection all the time, and I was doing my casual browsing, tweeting, etc., with this device, and I didn't experience any issues of heating. I also did some gaming, which I didn't do too much, but just played Asphalt 8 for about six or seven minutes, and I didn't notice any heating issues. For example, the Gionee S5.5 immediately after using it, I experienced heating issues.
**Display Quality**
The display quality on this device is actually very good, and the auto brightness sensor is also very nice. Right now, it's on auto brightness. Another thing I noticed is that even outdoors, if you go out in the Sun, the display is fairly legible if you keep it on auto brightness. The viewing angles are actually very good on this device.
Regarding gaming, I didn't do a lot of gaming; yes, I did play Asphalt 8, and that ran fine. I will be doing an in-depth gaming review with most popular games soon, so stay tuned to my channel.
**Multitasking**
This is the question that some of you have asked, "Where is the multitasking tray?" If you read this menu button for a while, you get to this multitasking tray, and from here, you can switch between the apps. Let's say we wanna close the apps, you can just hit this button, and it closes all the apps. Yes, we have that multitasking tray.
I also did some GPS navigation on this device, and it locked to the GPS very quickly and worked flawlessly. I used Maps for navigation.
**Speaker**
The speaker on this device is a mono speaker, but it's above average in my opinion, and it has a little bit of peace; it's not the loudest I've heard, but it's pretty good.
**Conclusion**
The only con that I feel with this device is that the device is a little bit big for a 5-inch device. For example, I also have the LG G3 which has a 5.5-inch display, and if I just place this device next to it in terms of width and height, it's exactly similar to the LG G3. Yes, this device has some large bezels to it, and if we compared it to the Nexus 5, which has a 5-inch screen, you'll definitely notice that it's taller and slightly wider than the Nexus 5.
Apart from that, I haven't faced any serious issues with this phone, but I'm still testing this, so I will be doing a posting of a full in-depth review in the next coming days. Stay tuned to my channel for that.
**Service Centers**
They do have some service centers, and they do have a link for the service centers in the show notes. The service centers as of now are only located in major cities.
**Final Thoughts**
