Inside Look at VERY Unique Drift Cars of Europe

The Thrill of Drift Masters: An Unforgettable Experience

As I stood there, surrounded by the roaring engines and the deafening sound of screeching tires, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and adrenaline coursing through my veins. It was like being in a Formula One car, where speed and precision were paramount, and anything less would be unacceptable. The drift cars on display were a testament to human ingenuity and creativity, with each one unique and meticulously crafted to deliver maximum performance.

One of the most striking features of these vehicles was their sheer power. Take, for example, the Mercedes-powered diesel car that looked like it had been ripped straight from the pages of a science fiction novel. With 1400 newton meters of torque on tap, this behemoth of a machine could accelerate from zero to sixty in mere seconds, leaving even the most seasoned drivers in its wake. As I watched, mesmerized, the driver expertly maneuvered the car around a series of tight turns and hairpin bends, showcasing the incredible capabilities of this monstrous machine.

But what truly set these cars apart was their raw, unbridled energy. With a huge plume of black smoke billowing from the front tires and an eerie glow emanating from the exhaust pipes, it was clear that these machines were not just ordinary vehicles. They were instruments of art and science, honed to perfection through years of development and refinement. As I listened to the enthusiastic commentary from the commentators, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer scale and complexity of these machines.

The drift cars on display were a far cry from the elegant, precision-crafted vehicles that dominated the scene in days gone by. Gone were the days of subtle, nuanced driving; instead, we had behemoths that defied all conventional norms and expectations. And yet, despite their size and power, these cars still managed to convey a sense of finesse and elegance. Whether it was the sleek lines of the gr86s or the futuristic design of the latest chassis innovations, every car on display seemed to be pushing the boundaries of what was possible.

As I walked through the paddock, I couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie among the drivers and teams. Everyone was buzzing with excitement, eager to share their knowledge and expertise with fellow enthusiasts. And yet, despite the obvious rivalry between teams and drivers, there was an undercurrent of respect and admiration that ran throughout the entire scene. This was not just about winning or losing; it was about the art of driving itself.

One of the most striking aspects of Drift Masters was its focus on innovation and experimentation. With a constant stream of new chassis designs, engine modifications, and aerodynamic tweaks being introduced to the competition, every car on display seemed to be pushing the boundaries of what was possible. And yet, despite all these changes, there was an underlying sense of continuity that bound everything together. Whether it was the iconic S15s or the newer gr86s, every car seemed to share a common DNA, one that spoke to the very heart of the drift culture itself.

As I made my way through the paddock, I couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence for the monsters on display. From the fearsome diesel-powered Mercedes to the tiny, turbocharged engine of the gr86s, every car seemed to be imbued with an almost spiritual energy. It was as if they had become living, breathing creatures, each one a testament to human ingenuity and creativity.

As I watched the drivers take to the track for qualifying practice, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer scale and complexity of it all. The air was electric with tension, as every car and driver seemed to be gunning for victory. And yet, despite the obvious rivalry between teams and drivers, there was an undercurrent of respect and admiration that ran throughout the entire scene.

The highlight of my day was undoubtedly the fireworks display that would accompany the final round of qualifying. With giant fans blowing smoke upwards and outward, and CO2 cannons firing off at random intervals, it was clear that this was not just a racing event – but an immersive experience that would push every driver to their limits. As I watched the drivers take to the track, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. This was going to be a day to remember.

As I looked out at the sea of faces in the stands, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for this incredible experience. Drift Masters was more than just a racing event – it was a celebration of speed, style, and human ingenuity. And as I made my way back to my seat, ready to watch the final round of qualifying unfold, I knew that I had been privileged to witness something truly special.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: eninto the countryside to go visit Sports Hub Motorsport which is the team that basically made the car that I'm driving at drift Masters mainly to dial in the seating position and stuff in the car just make sure I'm super comfortable because things were a bit big for me and kind of spaced out funky so now we got the car dialed also got some homemade pierogies from his wife and they were amazing great way to start the day now I'm going to give you guys a little tour of some of the stuff I have going on here it's kind of cool it's uh it's like a Polish version of the compound they've got a ton of cool stuff going on and quite the collection of cars no all right I need you to repeat that for me no that's the only thing I'll make you say on video it's a family company yes this is family company I am father wojtek and my son David and both of you guys drive yeah matching cars and they're super cool and I'm driving your car yeah yeah holy Sylvia S15 which 2JZ remember a lot of them and this yellow one's another one but this is out of all the cars in this building this is the only customer car yeah so this is uh pretty much the same thing that I'm driving but as you can see there's quite the variety in here and we'll start all the way over here well that's unique you don't see many of those over here huh how come it's not a 2JZ I don't know this engine is but when by cars when I'm by this car this engine is inside okay I see you know yeah yeah I'm sure it's a blast to drive is this David's old car so how long ago did you build this 10 years 20 years 10 years oh yeah 10 years so this is like the earlier version of what evolved into the s15s it's cool I like looking back at like cars that I built a long time ago and seeing how things evolve and step up and then what's the deal with these uh the matching cards yeah okay so like cars to teach rent that's cool so is this like a full restoration are these pretty rare here yeah five liters 12 cylinder no 2JZ in this one all right I like how your Sun's doing the Translating for us now your English is good you're perfect yeah that's kind of Audi engine yeah five cylinder oh wow that's pretty neat yes salt right 10 years yeah oh yeah is it fun no fun very problem yeah which is that's so cool so let me let me guess LS3 uh SR20 no Audi V6 no 2JZ yeah it may seem a little bit early to be talking about the holiday season but if you're a business owner you know now is the time to prepare and if you want to get your eCommerce styled in you're going to want to use a sponsor of today's video shift station doesn't matter if you're shipping out of your garage your house or even a giant Warehouse ship station is going to help your profitability automate your shipping and returns in their awesome dashboard and leverage their industry leading carrier discounts that are usually reserved for Fortune 500 companies not only has shipstation been a sponsor of the channel for years but they've also been an integral part of both my businesses lzmfg and drift HQ helping us save a bunch of money on rates and keeping our processes dialed the discounts are up to 84 off ups and USPS rates one of my favorite facts when it comes to shipstation is that over 130 000 companies have grown their business with ship station 98 of the companies that you ship station for a year became customers for life then I should say something to you and you should go ahead and set your holiday season up for success by going to shiftstation.com forward slash Adam LZ today and get your free 60-day trial just shipstation.com forward slash Adam LZ and I want to give a massive thank you to shipstation for sponsoring this video well this is like a little home compound so this is where all the cars are and then in here is kind of like all the workshops and it's very confusing there's like lots of buildings next to each other there's a lot of stuff going on so is this the main Workshop yep come on just screw the fuel car Ry there are a lot of comments in the last video about the S15 being left hand drive they don't come that way but it's very common over here to swap the cars from right hand drive to left-hand Drive in fact this is actually a BMW that they are swapping from right hand drive to left-hand drive not a drift car a street car but it's that common of a thing and with these it's pretty easy because you can actually get Factory parts to swap for the S15 the dash and some of the things are custom but still a lot of it's just S14 parts we were talking about what he does when there's not drift stuff going on so you're certified by BMW to do BMW repairs and is this one of the cars that you're repairing yeah it's pretty cool so when it's not drift work it's other BMW work there's only 700 of this yeah and this one came from the USA right yeah that's pretty cool very rare yep got a nice little machine shop in here to keep the dust out of the other area do you actually build the chassis in this area or is like this is where you do the actual welding and stuff yes yeah it's always cool checking out shops in other countries and see now stuff has done similar different I really really enjoy it all right so We snuck over to the stadium so I could check this place out before we come here I guess in two days for practice I don't even know words to communicate how ridiculous this is not only the fact that we are in an indoor stadium that is having a race track built as we speak but the fact that every single one of these sixty thousand seats is going to have a person in it watching drifting boggling find out that I think 80 of the people that will be here are from Poland that means that drifting is huge is huge which I knew but like when you put numbers to it and you stand somewhere like this as someone who drifts in what I feel like is a bit of like a subculture of a sport uh to think that our sport is big enough that we can have the same feeling that a football player has in a pack stand like this I know the energy is going to be crazy I'm here for it this is absurd this is insane so they're building the track right now this place literally just a few days ago was a soccer field and they have 36 hours to tear this down when it's all over but someone yelling up in the rafters this is so crazy you still can't get overseeing this place for the first time you know what we've obviously the first time the tarmac's been done there it's the only time this ever happened in this stadium and that's them down like asphalt for a particular event this is our fourth Stadium started with like let's say 10 000 people 12 000 people 15 000 people and then last year and this year we're going from 15 to 55 and we sold it all out every VIP box every seat to the rafters to the floor there is people coming from all over the world to this so from a drift fan for me starting off doing small events this is even to me who knew this is all gonna happen it's mind-blowing and the support we've had from the drift community in Europe and it's just awesome I mean I mean almost emotional because it's real life right and you never expected to actually get this far when you dedicate to a sport for 10 years oh we're just doing some skids like you're where Beyonce was three weeks ago that's no that's what I was saying like I don't think I ever would have thought in my life that I would feel the feeling that a football player feels but you know what's crazy about it correct me if they don't believe yeah but I think Drifters always come from an alternate background they're kind of skateboarders or their guys on the fringes when they were in school they weren't the popular guy they weren't the football player they weren't the big you know dog or whatever whatever Sport with their friends a bunch of guys just traveling around to then perform in a stadium yeah more than anyone they would have known in school has ever done I think it's a beautiful like Testament which work and dedication they put in and like we're all here this weekend too whatever but we're already here I mean even just to say that you've driven a Stadium track like for me like before we even talking about logistics or anything just the opportunity to drive inside of a stadium I don't care if it was a polished concrete donut that I did just to hear myself drive inside of a stadium is like bucket list so to drive driftmaster for some of the best drivers in the world just think you might get to do it maybe in a demo yeah part of a halftime show or something but to do it with the best drivers in the world in a truck specifically build for drifting at the highest level it's kind of all coming together yep so thank you for getting me in on this Adam I couldn't leave you out of this one this is one we're all going to talk about this in 10 years time that's how I feel or we do we go bigger next year saying this is be breathtaking I'm too short to stand over it no thank you come on let's go look at that pro move right here hang out with night ride for 30 minutes and I get pulled over by the police police okay what were they saying about me because I didn't understand a single word they're saying you're flipping foreign look you saved 20 bucks off the Record I've probably jaywalked like 5 000 times in my life so the fact that I got pulled over the first time I did it in Poland is crazy but they were really nice so thank you Poland all right it's the next day what's going on here well we're sort of don't have space in our van so uh we found extra space in the buck it's not bad yeah it's it's gone you know when in Poland it's VIP yeah I'm ready for it we're back at the stadium night rides got all their merch that they're about to load into the stadium I'm gonna see if I can give you guys a quick little Tour on the way some pretty cool cars in The Paddock there's a YouTuber here in Poland named Buddha and he's got some pretty cool cars I was gonna try to film they're right over here we'll see we'll see if we can get a shot he's got a stacker full of all his cars it's pretty sweet look at this drift truck you said 800 horsepower something like that thing's sick I'm sorry that like half his videos me just geeking out at how cool of an event this is Stadium then we've got the pits down here with all the rigs set up I'm gonna go down and do a little pit walk and check out everybody's stuff um super cool a lot of similarities and a lot of differences to FD both in like the rigs the cars the venue I'm excited just to be a part of it and experience everything all right so now we're headed where are we heading I know we're going to pick up Kevin Kevin's the K Band where are we going uh like classic station where they have a lot of classic cars really good condition really nice place with free floors and elevator for the cars they've been teaching me a lot of Porsche on the way here but I probably shouldn't repeat what they've been teaching me on camera yeah we won't say that no it's okay it's not it's nothing like um oh it's okay yeah it's it's not a burger oh okay yeah so it's not you're not swearing or anything just in case there's actually I know one polish children that watches my videos bye Boogie now listen close I need you to treat this like it's a drag race you guys drag race out here yeah all right it's on Green go but on Green are you racing someone you got someone next to you yes I have fourth car so in in America we would rev at them so they know that we're gonna race okay they know now what's your launch technique okay first I will collage you know a bit to the for this to get together I don't know how to say hello and then look yeah look the day oh he's oh yeah losers and you got to put your hazards on that means you won okay good job oh yeah yeah thank you thank you for the rice sports car my guy I'm just getting a quick tour of the place I think one of the coolest things they've got a giant elevator that can literally fit the cars bring them up and down in the storage building I'm so obsessed with this elevator this is so cool so are these all restoration projects these are so you can clearly see the fenders are widened so it will be like a RS is that what you guys were doing downstairs where I saw some Defenders were cut yeah that's cool color on this E39 is gorgeous all right I haven't shown you guys Kevin yet but this has been quite the process to get this thing on the trailer so before I get into the details of Kevin check this thing out this is a Mitsubishi you said it's an Outlander but it has a 4g63 in it I thought it sounded a little bit like an EVO sick don't run I see yeah and it's a toe rig I love it all right so tell me the story with this thing yeah so um this is a your typical cave on the House of hijet 1000 originally in 1985 one liter very slow 25 horsepower engine then we decided we're gonna swap it with motorbike engine but we have a motorbike engine obviously you need to have a full motorbike so we bought the full motorbike um kind of similar style 80s 90s Yamaha 600 CC and then we got a bit and then we decided we're gonna put the whole bike inside and what's up with it um so cool it's very it's very and doesn't make any sense but yeah somehow I love it it works how does it drive it drives it drives like a go-kart we did the whole front suspension I don't know if you've seen that so the front suspension has bugs from a truck from actual track and then we had to make the whole suspension arms and stuff and roads that's cool so does anyone ever ride on this or is the ceiling a little too low no this is uh Stucky forever yeah and uh well I meant doesn't even ride on this while you guys drive it around or just the two front seats you never try this yeah if you're my size you can see it online all right yeah so maybe maybe there's a chance that we can drive this thing around the stadium right yeah it's super it doesn't have much steering but it's definitely cool and it's nice and low yes I love it for 600 CC so it revs very high like 12 000 RPM and a straight pipe sick this thing is so cool you guys did a really good job on it and you said this one uh polish Hot Wheels contest right so the Hot Wheels every year they do this Hot Wheels Legends uh competition uh and from every country they have one car selected to compete in us for a Hot Wheels competition that they're gonna make a little Hot Wheels out of the car and we won a Polish stage last week and now we're gonna go to us for the finals and maybe you know next year we can see a little cabinet shops do uh do people get to vote for it or is it voted I was gonna say everyone go vote for Kevin I love it explain the name for anyone that didn't make the connection right so we called it because it's actually kavan it's from Japanese K it's a small small cars Patriots and then Boogie all the Kevin and it's yeah it stays like this and we also have this conference Performance Machine I'll show them when we're over there I love it yeah how does that wrap up this video we're gonna do a little pit walk and check out some of the rigs and setups here this is the setup for special Motorsport this is the first time I'm driving somewhere where I really don't know anyone so I don't know a lot of people that I'm competing against so Dave's walking around and he's going to give me a little rundown on each driver we got some killer drivers here and some wild cards like you are including Torani kavia who's one of the probably guys that could win this event but the engines that you guys use in the states we do a little different here so this is a budget team not a big budget and this is a 1uz turbo running 800 horsepower took it out because he couldn't afford to replace an LS3 but the one use these are cheap obviously and his mechanic built this engine just up here and he's 17. that's it that's awesome if you want to talk about dedication this is Aura Nielsen from Norway the soar which is he's a gangster driver in Sweden he hit a dirt drop at 75 flipped the car twice on its roof and still made the car back out for qualifying that's crazy he sent someone that an hour and a half they sent someone exactly an hour and a half put a windscreen back in the car wow and they got it back out there again these boys small budgets big hearts that's how it works no one runs headlights no all blanks why there's a set of bricks is a thousand Euro and if you drive Like These Guys these are about 100 euro and you can put another set in after qualifying another setting up for 32 and under setting up for 60. there are 23 different countries that these drivers are from that's that's crazy that's a huge spread yeah and it's always a difficulty with language because everyone always thinks of drifting as everyone speaks the same language we have 23 different almost languages on the grid too what everyone here is from is generally the champion of their country that's how they get to drift Masters that's cool and then English would be like how the driver communication is pretty much all English yeah interesting the side of the bus flips down it lifts the car and it slides the car into the side of the bus because the engine in the bus is in the back so you can't bring the car in that way so they actually bring it in through the sides is that custom that's totally custom built just on an old bus now I've noticed there's very very few like articulating trailers here it's mostly like connected to the truck or the like it's trailers it's illegal to have a very long trailer in Europe so you either have to have a full truck like you don't have a big trailer or you have a bus but the long you guys would have like two cars in one trailer that's not legal in Europe because the streets are so narrow you just get stuck everywhere ah show it to you and you can guess will I not know if I'm looking at it uh uh is it is it a BMW engine it's not a BMW engine hold on hold the camera let me look a little closer so this is the 2.3 compressor this is the 3.2 3.2 yeah we used to run the 2.3 yeah but two chance to from the glass so it's an E-Class Mercedes rev High yeah that's sick so it's a little different than what you're used to so that's the good thing about 23 different countries is 23 different methods of developing drift cars so there's engines here that even I've never seen before they get here Dave was just telling me the turbo on this one you see he's actually in the back of the car that's pretty cool I don't know why but it's cool yeah and it spits little Flames out through the back window it's quite cool there you have the shanahans who are currently one and two in the championship and you have probably the craziest Orbee in Europe RB or B what's an Orbee Orbee RV RB yeah RB yeah so this great Gamers Billet uh 2.9 I think a GTR Engine with 950 horsepower and the Rams to like nine seven or something what would you say the average horsepower is here I'd say the average horsepower here is about eight to nine hundred horsepower okay that's average I would say and that's like a number where I feel like you can make a car live a whole season and it's not crazy costly a thousand plus it just gets so ridiculous some people have it some people are over 11 1200 but with the tire this seems to be the formula some of the tracks are quite smaller you don't need the power um have you ever seen a drift one of these I don't even know what it is that is watch out watch out don't move that dude was flying yeah so that's a Mercedes E-Class that weighs less than a Sylvia that has a 2JZ in it no no exaggeration it's okay to touch people's cars here because we all you know but that's we're all well acquainted over this long circus of the Season it does seem like everyone's very very close here like all the drivers and everything it's a family it's a traveling circus because you're going through different countries you're not all from the same country so you're all on this stupid trip together knowing how ridiculous it is so we all get very it's a good bond between all the drivers this guy's 15 years of age from Israel really yeah and he beats John in the last round that's epic which is like I'm such an Underdog Story so he's an up-and-comer um again small team just trying things out but yeah 15 years of age I mean people I've never even heard people from drifting in Israel and he comes along and he's a killer so it's awesome every year to get new countries involved new people new stars so he's another one so many unique rigs the buses I love the buses so is this another one where the car goes on the bus yep car goes into the back of the bus this one has the engine in the middle so it's a little more conventional I was wondering I felt like all they did were like bussing in their teams I didn't realize the cars were in them that's what the whole team is not so obviously a truck is expensive but a bus once it's kind of older they just kind of auction them off so the guys build them from scratch they take all the seats out they have a full Workshop they sleep in there this is the whole rig with the car on the back what's the engine setup in this one the Laurie Heinen's car and it is a small displacement I think it's only like a five liter 5.2 Dodge NASCAR V8 so some crazy Scandinavian guy like imported 40 NASCAR engines at the end of the season and all the Scandinavian guys running so he's running 1100 with a supercharger and it revs to like 10 000. it's like a Formula One car it sounds insane that is sick I'm stoked to hear all these different Motors so this one is probably we always say this is the one you just don't need to commentate over this doesn't see the most unusual drift car you'll ever have seen is this a joke nope what is it this is a diesel diesel no way Mercedes running 1400 newton meters at all that's insane so this is it looks really cool it has a ton of white smoke going for the tires and a huge plume of black smoke coming from the first front that's why they call it black smoke racing that's their team is there any countries that you host drift Masters at that don't like this car no favorite for everyone really yeah I guess it's relatable too since a lot of people drive diesels around here so it's the most probably common car anyone drives in Europe so to have somebody in a perform small turbo on this one as you can see straight off a what are the trucks it says truck turbo yeah on a diesel it's got a bigger turbo than the bus it's ridiculous I did the bus and the car could interchange turbo as I'd say at this stage but uh pretty cool then we got some new chassis like gr86s with 2js so kind of standard stuff you guys will see but there's another fresh build this year another big change from fde you don't need a passenger seat needs to see in passenger seats and all the cars I like the clear headlights just like the glass but nothing else behind them yes the cheapest way to break them and not have a problem and believe me the way these guys drive there's just pieces of car this is going to look like a scrap yard on Saturday night like not even joking it is the end of the season and they're going to leave it all in the track so there's no point having fancy bits on the cars yeah I'm coming into the finals huh you're coming in at the worst time hey it's the best time but you know what best event to come in yeah this is crazy so we got last but not least speed of 96 setup runs two identical s15s both 1200 horsepower and he has a Supra which he's going to use next year and he's just developing it at the moment but yeah so you might recognize these cars they're the same ones that James Dean and he drove in FD but so they're pretty similar to how they were and then he just he's been winning championships with them ever since so they've won in America and one two back-to-back championships here so 2JZ 15 11 1200 horsepower kind of the formula but also with Peter and James also I didn't formerly show who just showed up this must feel normal to you what being in a Stadium from your monster truck days what uh what is the energy like when you would come out in these stands well and that this feeling drifted it was reverberating super loud so two cars out a thousand people one other thing too I saw some comments they do have giant fans that will blow the smoke upwards and outward they're kind of like positioned all around like these little cannons and the roof they leave open for competition uh they have these beautiful barriers that they custom made that like drop into the jersey barrier so debris doesn't fly out and one other interesting thing is that there's literally fireworks lining all of the walls that are going to go off as we're driving and then CO2 cannons that like make Big Bangs as you go through the center so this is like a spec it's very very similar to other stuff that I've driven um E-Town is like kind of a figure eight obviously it's a little bit different when the way it's laid out but it's not like I'm going into 4 and like Mandela like great it's the only stuff you skip that figure who's going on right now to test the track out so it sounds way different than how like it's got I'm gonna close out the video here guys we have qualifying practice tomorrow it is looking like we aren't going to get an insane amount of laps just because of the whole Logistics of getting the cars in and out of the stadium sounds like four to eight laps is likely so I'm very thankful that I got as much testing in the car as I did um I'm gonna end video here and I'll walk you guys through kind of my rationale my thought process and the very special person that will be spotting for me that I'm excited about we've been chatting a lot today and uh getting set up dialed it's gonna be a good day I'm excited track's amazing more than anything I'm just grateful to be out here still gonna share with you guys and I'll see you sooninto the countryside to go visit Sports Hub Motorsport which is the team that basically made the car that I'm driving at drift Masters mainly to dial in the seating position and stuff in the car just make sure I'm super comfortable because things were a bit big for me and kind of spaced out funky so now we got the car dialed also got some homemade pierogies from his wife and they were amazing great way to start the day now I'm going to give you guys a little tour of some of the stuff I have going on here it's kind of cool it's uh it's like a Polish version of the compound they've got a ton of cool stuff going on and quite the collection of cars no all right I need you to repeat that for me no that's the only thing I'll make you say on video it's a family company yes this is family company I am father wojtek and my son David and both of you guys drive yeah matching cars and they're super cool and I'm driving your car yeah yeah holy Sylvia S15 which 2JZ remember a lot of them and this yellow one's another one but this is out of all the cars in this building this is the only customer car yeah so this is uh pretty much the same thing that I'm driving but as you can see there's quite the variety in here and we'll start all the way over here well that's unique looking back at like cars that I built a long time ago and seeing how things evolve and step up and then what's the deal with these uh the matching cards yeah okay so like cars to teach rent that's cool so is this like a full restoration are these pretty rare here yeah five liters 12 cylinder no 2JZ in this one all right I like how your Sun's doing the Translating for us now your English is good you're perfect yeah that's kind of Audi engine yeah five cylinder oh wow that's pretty neat yes salt right 10 years yeah oh yeah is it fun no fun very problem yeah which is that's so cool so let me ship station 98 of the companies that you ship station for a year became customers for life then I should say something to you and you should go ahead and set your holiday season up for success by going to shiftstation.com forward slash Adam LZ today and get your free 60-day trial just shipstation.com forward slash Adam LZ and I want to give a massive thank you to shipstation for sponsoring this video well this is like a little home compound so this is where all the cars are and then in here is kind of like all the workshops and it's very confusing there's like lots of buildings next to each other there's a lot of stuff going on so is this the main Workshop yep come on just screw the fuel car Ry there are a lot of comments in the last video about the S15 being left hand drive they don't come that way but it's very common over here to swap the cars from right hand drive to left-hand Drive in fact this is actually a BMW that they are swapping from right hand drive to left-hand drive not a drift car a street car but it's that common of a thing and with these it's pretty easy because you can actually get Factory parts to swap for the S15 the dash and some of the things are custom but still a lot of it's just S14 parts we were talking about what he does when there's not drift stuff going on so you're certified by BMW to do BMW repairs and is this one of the cars that you're repairing yeah it's pretty cool so when it's not drift work it's other BMW work there's only 700 of this yeah and this one came from the USA right yeah that's pretty cool very rare yep got a nice little machine shop in here to keep the dust out of the other area do you actually build the chassis in this area or is like this is where you do the actual welding and stuff yes yeah it's always cool checking out shops in other countries and see now stuff has done similar different I really really enjoy it all right so We snuck over to the stadium so I could check this place out before we come here I guess in two days for practice I don't even know words to communicate how ridiculous this is not only the fact that we are in an indoor stadium that is having a race track built as we speak but the fact that every single one of these sixty thousand seats is going to have a person in it watching drifting boggling find out that I think 80 of the people that will be here are from Poland that means that drifting is huge is huge which I knew but like when you put numbers to it and you stand somewhere like this as someone who drifts in what I feel like is a bit of like a subculture of a sport uh to think that our sport is big enough that we can have the same feeling that a football player has in a pack stand like this I know the energy is going to be crazy I'm here for it this is absurd this is insane so they're building the track right now this place literally just a few days ago was a soccer field and they have 36 hours to tear this down when it's all over but someone yelling up in the rafters this is so crazy you still can't get overseeing this place for the first time you know what we've obviously the first time the tarmac's been done there it's the only time this ever happened in this stadium and that's them down like asphalt for a particular event this is our fourth Stadium started with like let's say 10 000 people 12 000 people 15 000 people and then last year and this year we're going from 15 to 55 and we sold it all out every VIP box every seat to the rafters to the floor there is people coming from all over the world to this so from a drift fan for me starting off doing small events this is even to me who knew this is all gonna happen it's mind-blowing and the support we've had from the drift community in Europe and it's just awesome I mean I mean almost emotional because it's real life right and you never expected to actually get this far when you dedicate to a sport for 10 years oh we're just doing some skids like you're where Beyonce was three weeks ago that's no that's what I was saying like I don't think I ever would have thought in my life that I would feel the feeling that a football player feels but you know what's crazy about it correct me if they don't believe yeah but I think Drifters always come from an alternate background they're kind of skateboarders or their guys on the fringes when they were in school they weren't the popular guy they weren't the football player they weren't the big you know dog or whatever whatever Sport with their friends a bunch of guys just traveling around to then perform in a stadium yeah more than anyone they would have known in school has ever done I think it's a beautiful like Testament which work and dedication they put in and like we're all here this weekend too whatever but we're already here I mean even just to say that you've driven a Stadium track like for me like before we even talking about logistics or anything just the opportunity to drive inside of a stadium I don't care if it was a polished concrete donut that I did just to hear myself drive inside of a stadium is like bucket list so to drive driftmaster for some of the best drivers in the world just think you might get to do it maybe in a demo yeah part of a halftime show or something but to do it with the best drivers in the world in a truck specifically build for drifting at the highest level it's kind of all coming together yep so thank you for getting me in on this Adam I couldn't leave you out of this one this is one we're all going to talk about this in 10 years time that's how I feel or we do we go bigger next year saying this is be breathtaking I'm too short to stand over it no thank you come on let's go look at that pro move right here hang out with night ride for 30 minutes and I get pulled over by the police police okay what were they saying about me because I didn't understand a single word they're saying you're flipping foreign look you saved 20 bucks off the Record I've probably jaywalked like 5 000 times in my life so the fact that I got pulled over the first time I did it in Poland is crazy but they were really nice so thank you Poland all right it's the next day what's going on here well we're sort of don't have space in our van so uh we found extra space in the buck it's not bad yeah it's it's gone you know when in Poland it's VIP yeah I'm ready for it we're back at the stadium night rides got all their merch that they're about to load into the stadium I'm gonna see if I can give you guys a quick little Tour on the way some pretty cool cars in The Paddock there's a YouTuber here in Poland named Buddha and he's got some pretty cool cars I was gonna try to film they're right over here we'll see we'll see if we can get a shot he's got a stacker full of all his cars it's pretty sweet look at this drift truck you said 800 horsepower something like that thing's sick I'm sorry that like half his videos me just geeking out at how cool of an event this is Stadium then we've got the pits down here with all the rigs set up I'm gonna go down and do a little pit walk and check out everybody's stuff um super cool a lot of similarities and a lot of differences to FD both in like the rigs the cars the venue I'm excited just to be a part of it and experience everything all right so now we're headed where are we heading I know we're going to pick up Kevin Kevin's the K Band where are we going uh like classic station where they have a lot of classic cars really good condition really nice place with free floors and elevator for the cars they've been teaching me a lot of Porsche on the way here but I probably shouldn't repeat what they've been teaching me on camera yeah we won't say that no it's okay it's not it's nothing like um oh it's okay yeah it's it's not a burger oh okay yeah so it's not you're not swearing or anything just in case there's actually I know one polish children that watches my videos bye Boogie now listen close I need you to treat this like it's a drag race you guys drag race out here yeah all right it's on Green go but on Green are you racing someone you got someone next to you yes I have fourth car so in in America we would rev at them so they know that we're gonna race okay they know now what's your launch technique okay first I will collage you know a bit to the for this to get together I don't know how to say hello and then look yeah look the day oh he's oh yeah losers and you got to put your hazards on that means you won okay good job oh yeah yeah thank you thank you for the rice sports car my guy I'm just getting a quick tour of the place I think one of the coolest things they've got a giant elevator that can literally fit the cars bring them up and down in the storage building I'm so obsessed with this elevator this is so cool so are these all restoration projects these are so you can clearly see the fenders are widened so it will be like a RS is that what you guys were doing downstairs where I saw some Defenders were cut yeah that's cool color on this E39 is gorgeous all right I haven't shown you guys Kevin yet but this has been quite the process to get this thing on the trailer so before I get into the details of Kevin check this thing out this is a Mitsubishi you said it's an Outlander but it has a 4g63 in it I thought it sounded a little bit like an EVO sick don't run I see yeah and it's a toe rig I love it all right so tell me the story with this thing yeah so um this is a your typical cave on the House of hijet 1000 originally in 1985 one liter very slow 25 horsepower engine then we decided we're gonna swap it with motorbike engine but we have a motorbike engine obviously you need to have a full motorbike so we bought the full motorbike um kind of similar style 80s 90s Yamaha 600 CC and then we got a bit and then we decided we're gonna put the whole bike inside and what's up with it um so cool it's very it's very and doesn't make any sense but yeah somehow I love it it works how does it drive it drives it drives like a go-kart we did the whole front suspension I don't know if you've seen that so the front suspension has bugs from a truck from actual track and then we had to make the whole suspension arms and stuff and roads that's cool so does anyone ever ride on this or is the ceiling a little too low no this is uh Stucky forever yeah and uh well I meant doesn't even ride on this while you guys drive it around or just the two front seats you never try this yeah if you're my size you can see it online all right yeah so maybe maybe there's a chance that we can drive this thing around the stadium right yeah it's super it doesn't have much steering but it's definitely cool and it's nice and low yes I love it for 600 CC so it revs very high like 12 000 RPM and a straight pipe sick this thing is so cool you guys did a really good job on it and you said this one uh polish Hot Wheels contest right so the Hot Wheels every year they do this Hot Wheels Legends uh competition uh and from every country they have one car selected to compete in us for a Hot Wheels competition that they're gonna make a little Hot Wheels out of the car and we won a Polish stage last week and now we're gonna go to us for the finals and maybe you know next year we can see a little cabinet shops do uh do people get to vote for it or is it voted I was gonna say everyone go vote for Kevin I love it explain the name for anyone that didn't make the connection right so we called it because it's actually kavan it's from Japanese K it's a small small cars Patriots and then Boogie all the Kevin and it's yeah it stays like this and we also have this conference Performance Machine I'll show them when we're over there I love it yeah how does that wrap up this video we're gonna do a little pit walk and check out some of the rigs and setups here this is the setup for special Motorsport this is the first time I'm driving somewhere where I really don't know anyone so I don't know a lot of people that I'm competing against so Dave's walking around and he's going to give me a little rundown on each driver we got some killer drivers here and some wild cards like you are including Torani kavia who's one of the probably guys that could win this event but the engines that you guys use in the states we do a little different here so this is a budget team not a big budget and this is a 1uz turbo running 800 horsepower took it out because he couldn't afford to replace an LS3 but the one use these are cheap obviously and his mechanic built this engine just up here and he's 17. that's it that's awesome if you want to talk about dedication this is Aura Nielsen from Norway the soar which is he's a gangster driver in Sweden he hit a dirt drop at 75 flipped the car twice on its roof and still made the car back out for qualifying that's crazy he sent someone that an hour and a half they sent someone exactly an hour and a half put a windscreen back in the car wow and they got it back out there again these boys small budgets big hearts that's how it works no one runs headlights no all blanks why there's a set of bricks is a thousand Euro and if you drive Like These Guys these are about 100 euro and you can put another set in after qualifying another setting up for 32 and under setting up for 60. there are 23 different countries that these drivers are from that's that's crazy that's a huge spread yeah and it's always a difficulty with language because everyone always thinks of drifting as everyone speaks the same language we have 23 different almost languages on the grid too what everyone here is from is generally the champion of their country that's how they get to drift Masters that's cool and then English would be like how the driver communication is pretty much all English yeah interesting the side of the bus flips down it lifts the car and it slides the car into the side of the bus because the engine in the bus is in the back so you can't bring the car in that way so they actually bring it in through the sides is that custom that's totally custom built just on an old bus now I've noticed there's very very few like articulating trailers here it's mostly like connected to the truck or the like it's trailers it's illegal to have a very long trailer in Europe so you either have to have a full truck like you don't have a big trailer or you have a bus but the long you guys would have like two cars in one trailer that's not legal in Europe because the streets are so narrow you just get stuck everywhere ah show it to you and you can guess will I not know if I'm looking at it uh uh is it is it a BMW engine it's not a BMW engine hold on hold the camera let me look a little closer so this is the 2.3 compressor this is the 3.2 3.2 yeah we used to run the 2.3 yeah but two chance to from the glass so it's an E-Class Mercedes rev High yeah that's sick so it's a little different than what you're used to so that's the good thing about 23 different countries is 23 different methods of developing drift cars so there's engines here that even I've never seen before they get here Dave was just telling me the turbo on this one you see he's actually in the back of the car that's pretty cool I don't know why but it's cool yeah and it spits little Flames out through the back window it's quite cool there you have the shanahans who are currently one and two in the championship and you have probably the craziest Orbee in Europe RB or B what's an Orbee Orbee RV RB yeah RB yeah so this great Gamers Billet uh 2.9 I think a GTR Engine with 950 horsepower and the Rams to like nine seven or something what would you say the average horsepower is here I'd say the average horsepower here is about eight to nine hundred horsepower okay that's average I would say and that's like a number where I feel like you can make a car live a whole season and it's not crazy costly a thousand plus it just gets so ridiculous some people have it some people are over 11 1200 but with the tire this seems to be the formula some of the tracks are quite smaller you don't need the power um have you ever seen a drift one of these I don't even know what it is that is watch out watch out don't move that dude was flying yeah so that's a Mercedes E-Class that weighs less than a Sylvia that has a 2JZ in it no no exaggeration it's okay to touch people's cars here because we all you know but that's we're all well acquainted over this long circus of the Season it does seem like everyone's very very close here like all the drivers and everything it's a family it's a traveling circus because you're going through different countries you're not all from the same country so you're all on this stupid trip together knowing how ridiculous it is so we all get very it's a good bond between all the drivers this guy's 15 years of age from Israel really yeah and he beats John in the last round that's epic which is like I'm such an Underdog Story so he's an up-and-comer um again small team just trying things out but yeah 15 years of age I mean people I've never even heard people from drifting in Israel and he comes along and he's a killer so it's awesome every year to get new countries involved new people new stars so he's another one so many unique rigs the buses I love the buses so is this another one where the car goes on the bus yep car goes into the back of the bus this one has the engine in the middle so it's a little more conventional I was wondering I felt like all they did were like bussing in their teams I didn't realize the cars were in them that's what the whole team is not so obviously a truck is expensive but a bus once it's kind of older they just kind of auction them off so the guys build them from scratch they take all the seats out they have a full Workshop they sleep in there this is the whole rig with the car on the back what's the engine setup in this one the Laurie Heinen's car and it is a small displacement I think it's only like a five liter 5.2 Dodge NASCAR V8 so some crazy Scandinavian guy like imported 40 NASCAR engines at the end of the season and all the Scandinavian guys running so he's running 1100 with a supercharger and it revs to like 10 000. it's like a Formula One car it sounds insane that is sick I'm stoked to hear all these different Motors so this one is probably we always say this is the one you just don't need to commentate over this doesn't see the most unusual drift car you'll ever have seen is this a joke nope what is it this is a diesel diesel no way Mercedes running 1400 newton meters at all that's insane so this is it looks really cool it has a ton of white smoke going for the tires and a huge plume of black smoke coming from the first front that's why they call it black smoke racing that's their team is there any countries that you host drift Masters at that don't like this car no favorite for everyone really yeah I guess it's relatable too since a lot of people drive diesels around here so it's the most probably common car anyone drives in Europe so to have somebody in a perform small turbo on this one as you can see straight off a what are the trucks it says truck turbo yeah on a diesel it's got a bigger turbo than the bus it's ridiculous I did the bus and the car could interchange turbo as I'd say at this stage but uh pretty cool then we got some new chassis like gr86s with 2js so kind of standard stuff you guys will see but there's another fresh build this year another big change from fde you don't need a passenger seat needs to see in passenger seats and all the cars I like the clear headlights just like the glass but nothing else behind them yes the cheapest way to break them and not have a problem and believe me the way these guys drive there's just pieces of car this is going to look like a scrap yard on Saturday night like not even joking it is the end of the season and they're going to leave it all in the track so there's no point having fancy bits on the cars yeah I'm coming into the finals huh you're coming in at the worst time hey it's the best time but you know what best event to come in yeah this is crazy so we got last but not least speed of 96 setup runs two identical s15s both 1200 horsepower and he has a Supra which he's going to use next year and he's just developing it at the moment but yeah so you might recognize these cars they're the same ones that James Dean and he drove in FD but so they're pretty similar to how they were and then he just he's been winning championships with them ever since so they've won in America and one two back-to-back championships here so 2JZ 15 11 1200 horsepower kind of the formula but also with Peter and James also I didn't formerly show who just showed up this must feel normal to you what being in a Stadium from your monster truck days what uh what is the energy like when you would come out in these stands well and that this feeling drifted it was reverberating super loud so two cars out a thousand people one other thing too I saw some comments they do have giant fans that will blow the smoke upwards and outward they're kind of like positioned all around like these little cannons and the roof they leave open for competition uh they have these beautiful barriers that they custom made that like drop into the jersey barrier so debris doesn't fly out and one other interesting thing is that there's literally fireworks lining all of the walls that are going to go off as we're driving and then CO2 cannons that like make Big Bangs as you go through the center so this is like a spec it's very very similar to other stuff that I've driven um E-Town is like kind of a figure eight obviously it's a little bit different when the way it's laid out but it's not like I'm going into 4 and like Mandela like great it's the only stuff you skip that figure who's going on right now to test the track out so it sounds way different than how like it's got I'm gonna close out the video here guys we have qualifying practice tomorrow it is looking like we aren't going to get an insane amount of laps just because of the whole Logistics of getting the cars in and out of the stadium sounds like four to eight laps is likely so I'm very thankful that I got as much testing in the car as I did um I'm gonna end video here and I'll walk you guys through kind of my rationale my thought process and the very special person that will be spotting for me that I'm excited about we've been chatting a lot today and uh getting set up dialed it's gonna be a good day I'm excited track's amazing more than anything I'm just grateful to be out here still gonna share with you guys and I'll see you soon\n"
