Yeah, it's kind of a gray, dreary day.Kinda humid and nasty, but, you know, that's notgoing to stop me from looking forsome good deals out there, so...Let's go thrifting.First Goodwill of the day,or at least I think it is.This tree is getting huge.Alright, yeah. This, this is Goodwill. We'll start here. And as soon as I walk inside I seea ton of these things.Uh, Amazing Zeus something or others.Yeah, apparently Target had way too manyand they just dumped them all on Goodwill. That's unfortunate. But yeah, they'll be here forthe next three years probably.Over in the electronics, there's not a wholelot of interest today, except for thisI'm attracted to it because, A, wood grain, and, B, because...that name.ElectroBrand.And it's just a basic, like,8-track AM/FM radio system but, uh...That's a cool brand nameI've never heard of and I like it.I also ran across this Atari 7800 Pro System.Which is pretty neat to see.I don't see them very often in Goodwills.Already have a couple but, uh...Yeah, you know. So, whatever.I just like looking at them. There's also this HD DVD player by Toshiba.I don't see these very often either. And really, it's no surprise. What a failed thing against Blu-ray.Yup, who cares? And who cares about the rest ofthe store to be honest. Here recently, I've just not been having any luck here.Uh...just a bunch of pillows and, like, shirts.Onto the Goodwill with the lucky rock out front. But was starting to rain soI didn't touch it or anything. Oh, no!Ah, we'll test our luck anyway. And inside...Somebody's messed with this computerand flipped the display around,I guess with software, and man, that reminds me of me doing craplike that when I was like ten years old.I'd go into stores and screwwith the desktops. Anyway...Moving on to the games and media and stuff and...Hey, here's a copy ofWho Wants To Be A Millionaire? That's right, not Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, but Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?. Yeah, I know, it's a long name. But I like it. Anyway, it was on sale for 50 cents. Okay, that's a pretty good deal.Over in the music section, I saw some old CDs that were also on sale. Uh, is this a joke? Is this what they're trying to do here at Goodwill? You know, making us think we have to buy everything? Because when you start adding up all of these cheap prices, it's like they want you to go broke. Well, let me tell you something, I'm not going to fall for that. I'll just grab a few things and get outta here.Over in the electronics section, there were some old TVs on sale. I'm talking about 10-15 year old models, just collecting dust. And the prices are like 50 cents or $1. I mean, what's not to love? You know, it's days like today that make me realize why people shop at thrift stores in the first place. You've got all these great deals and bargains, and you can find some really unique stuff too. Okay, so maybe I'm a little biased towards this whole thing. But hey, someone's gotta do it right?I just looked up what price these things normally go for, just to see if I was getting ripped off. And sure enough, everything is at least 70% cheaper than what I would have paid at a regular store. So yeah, that's kind of cool.Over in the toys and board games section, there were some old action figures on sale. Uh, not really my thing, but I can appreciate the fact that they're just collecting dust. And you know what? The price is right too. Because when you start paying top dollar for something that's just going to sit around and collect more dust, it's like you're just throwing your money away. But hey, someone else might see it differently. Maybe they'll come in here today and find a few of these action figures to take home. Who knows? You know what would be great? If I had a few bucks to throw around. Like, $20 or something. Then maybe I could grab that Sansui stereo cassette deck that's been calling my name all day long. Or maybe that vector research audio player too. And who knows, maybe even that Pioneer CD changer. Because if I'm going to spend money, I want it to be on something good.

Anyway...Moving on to the games and media and stuff and...Hey, here's a copy ofWho Wants To Be a Millionaire: Second Edition. It's only a dollar and I don't have it,so why the heck not. It's in a big box. Also ran across this Swift cards gameor rather board games collection. You know, I can't resist this kind ofjunk.Again, big box, it's a dollar. Not going to say no.And unfortunately did have tosay no to this, even though, man, there's some cool stuff in here.Old Road & Track, Car and Driver, Motor Trendmagazines. Things like that. They were wanting two hundred dollarsfor the collection here on the bottomand like $29 dollars for the one up above.Yeah, that's just too muchno matter how you look at it, at least for me.I do like looking through thoseold magazines, though, when I can. There's a couple of Sega Genesises-idown here. Twenty-five dollars each. And a Nintendo Wii, just bag o' junk.Twenty-nine dollars.I expect to see a lot more of these in the futureas people are just unloading their old Wii sets andall the stupid peripherals that came along with them.Nobody wants this stuff anymore.Well, not yet. It's not quite nostalgic enough yet.An Atari Flashback 2 up here was in the box.Kind of beat-up and, uh... $49!Yeah, their pricing at this store is getting ridiculous. It was barely that much when it was brand-new!I did run across this kind of nifty little thing, though, just because of all thesedials and switches and knobs and things! This is a Sears RoadTalker 60.It's like a CB radio base unit. It's got this neat microphone andwhatnot and the sliders and...ah, really cool, but, uh...You know, mainly just to look at.I don't actually want this, but it's neat. There's something I do want, if it werein better shape and had a better price. This is an RCA SelectaVisionVideoDisc Player. Very cool!I'm more of a laserdisc collector, but i would love to have oneof these, too.Ah, $49 though for one that's kind of...Yeah, I don't know, it seemed pretty beat upand stuff with the mechanism and thingsJust... I don't– agh!Fifty bucks for something thatI'm not sure about? I don't think so.Ah, here's something that I will absolutely be getting.I thought it was a Sony Walkmanat first, but not exactly. This is a Sony, like, portable tape player, and I just like the design of it overall.Mainly because this is a stereo recorder.Doesn't record in mono. It has two littlemicrophones on top there to record in stereo. That's neat. It doesn't work exactly.Probably needs a new belt. And wow! Agh!If this weren't 15 bucks, I wouldabsolutely get it. Check out this clock.Wood grain, neat design. It's got thelittle numbers that flip around and stuff.Oh, I think that is so cool!I've wanted one of these ever since I was a kid, mainly 'cause of Back to the Future.Uh... and check out this dial here. AM/FM.It has a little needle thatspins around on a central axis.Such a cool design! But again, 15 bucks? It's just a basic clock radio.I don't know what they're thinking.Couple of interesting audio items here. Some stuff from Vector Research.I don't really ever see that brand show up in Goodwill.Kind of interesting, and thenbelow this Pioneer CD changer...Look at this. This is a Sansui stereo cassette deck. This is a D-77F.Oh, wonderful mechanism for opening thetapes, but this is what got me interested, and is why I bought it.These transparent, awesome-looking buttons. That's so cool.Ten bucks, I'm definitely getting that. There was a sort of matchingaudio receiver down here as well, but it wasn't working and it was also $35.I just don't need it. I've gotbetter receivers at home.Um, still... it seems like kind of a shame toseparate them, but I'm gonna do it anyway!I just want that cassette playerbecause those buttons are amazing.Over in the toys and board games and stuff, which have been all moved around,in a different part of the store. Not really much of interest here today. In fact, I got those couple of PCgames earlier, so no big deal. Then I saw these.I had never heard of them before. Tube Heroes? That's CaptainSparklez and likea little Minecraft-y looking figurine.A bunch of other YouTubers, too.And why don't I have one of these? Then again, I don't know if I would want one.Obviously they're not selling verywell if there's this many at Goodwill. And then just before I left, I sawsomething I could not pass up.\"Heart Tacos.\"On a piece of glass inside of a white frame.I thought that was it butthen I saw this buttonand it glows! This is, it's a USB-powered \"Heart Tacos\" framed piece of glass!I gotta get it. It's so pointless.Alright, onto another Goodwill before it starts raining. And inside the glass case here, not a lot going on except for thisbamboo pen tablet thing. You don't see these very often. Forty bucksis not a bad price either, but I don't need one. Also had this Gateway software storage container.I actually have a couple of these. These are awesome. This onestill had the software in it!Nothing really interesting, though.Maybe that restore disk butI just like seeing these every so often.$25 though is just way too much. And over in the junk section, I found one of themost ridiculous junkie junk things I've ever junked. This is just a 56-speed CD-ROM,but check out this build quality. It's actually kind of impressive in how crappy it is.Under this suspiciously placed lampshade,I found some suspiciously placed boxes.Nothing really of note, but I don't know why they're under there. That was amusing to me.Also amusing is this. Look at this thing! This is a Talking Computron. It's like a... I-don't-know-what.One of those little talking learning computer things. It would take these little cartridgesof some kind. Battery-powered.Almost got this simply because it looks really neat.I just, I don't really need it though andI've got a bunch of other things kindalike this, but man, what a cool design. It's like a late-seventies, early-eightiescomputer look but all miniaturized. I like that.Oh, man. Yeah, this store is full ofAmazing Zeus's as well. That's just unfortunate. I feel bad for the shelves.I don't feel bad for this one though. This isBill Elliot's NASCAR Challenge for DOS by Konamiright here in the box. That's cool.I already have it but, uh... neat.Oh, even more neat! One Must Fall 2097.This is actually the shareware episode by B&N Software. They did a lot of this stuff back then. They would just release things in a box thatreally didn't need to be, but, ey, why not?Dark Forces also in the box here. It's kind of beat up andyeah, I already own a copy or two, but, uh...Yeah, cool. PC games. These just make me happy to see in a store. Also another B&N Software releasehidden underneath some puzzles and whatnot. This is Xargon. This is actually one of the registered episodes.B&N Software sold the full series in their individual boxes.Already have all of them, but yeah.Kind of an unusual find these days. Most of these boxes, you can still findthem pretty cheap on eBay, though. And lastly, I've got somethingpretty special – a new Goodwill,as the rain is coming down pretty well at this point.Actually, this is kind of an old Goodwill. They just moved locations. This is the one that I found the TRS-80 Model 3 at before. And they've got a whole brand-new store here. It's pretty nice.Got a nice glass case here full of some stuff.PSP accessories and... you know, things. Also a hammer dulcimer.I don't know if I've ever seen one of these atGoodwill so that's kind of interesting.Over in the toys and board games and things,I always got to check here andI'm glad I did because look at what I ran across. This is a Magnavox Odyssey 200 games console.Pretty much just plays Pong and whatnot, but yeah, 1975 games consolein the box for $69.Ooh, no I don't think so. That's a bit much.In fact, that's a lot much for one of these.Even in the boxwith the manuals and stuff, which I'm glad to see,it's just not worth that to me,and not to a lot of other people either.Still, though, pretty neat find. Also ran across this 3D Dream Garden Designer in a bigbox for PC and, ha,I'm hopelessly attracted to thiskind of weird niche software.I didn't get this one thoughbecause I have so many of the otherkinds like this and I just don't need to getanother one until I cover someof the ones that already have, soshowing a little restraint. And got to check out the electronics, even though it mostly looks like total junk. And then I found this.Oh, man, what a cool thing this is.This is a Sony Glasstron PLM-A35.It looks like an old VR headset, and youcan kind of think of it that way, but reallythese are like, it's like a portable LCD system. You can hook things in and it'ssupposed to simulate looking ata way larger display, like a 50-inchdisplay that's on your head. And man, they just look awesome.I've been looking for one of these for a long time. They actually go for quite a bit more on eBay.This one's only 20 bucks though, which is awesome. And also had a fat PS2 in here, which... eh, you know, whatever. Some PC parts that, eh, youknow, whatever. And a Hewlett-Packard Color Pocket PC in the boxTen bucks. I almost got it.This is one of the earlier Windows Pocket PCsI don't really collect these at the moment, though. And as I was about to leave, I spotted this thingy. An ice cool mouse. Mmm!And you know, I actually thought thiswould be much cooler than it is.I thought maybe this is something likeyou filled with water and put in your freezer.I don't know what I was thinking.I was expecting much more interesting. No, it's literally just a mousethat's cool because they say it is.I don't know why. It's just transparent. It's stupid. So forget this thing. I... I'm done for the day.And that's it for LGR Thrifts episode 28.Got some gadgets, got some games. And I got a \"Heart Tacos\" framed piece of glass that lights up.You can't do much better than that in my opinion,so I'm pretty satisfied with this. And I hope you were satisfied with this episode of Thrifts.Although I haven't actually found a wholelot of really cool stuff like what y'all have. All these pictures are just like, wow, you're having way better luck than me recently, which is awesome.Keep sending these pictures my way andI'll keep making these episodeswhenever I can, althoughthere's been a bit of a drought of finding reallycool stuff in the past couple months, but that's fine.It happens. And as always, thank you very much for watching.\n"
