**A Close Look at the iPad 2: My Thoughts and Expectations**
My only minor disappointment with the iPad 2 is that the screen resolution is still the same, unfortunately it's still 1024x 768. I was really hoping for a higher display, but as I understand it, putting a high-resolution display on this size of device would be pretty damn expensive. I don't think Apple could afford to sell the iPad at such low prices, and I'd like to see an iPad Pro introduced with a higher resolution display that would be worth paying more for.
In reality, I expect the iPad 3 to have better displays, cameras, faster graphics, and performance compared to the iPad 2. While the iPad 2 is still a great device, it's not revolutionary, and I'm excited to see what improvements Apple will make in the next iteration. Despite my minor disappointment with the display, I'm overall very happy with today's keynote announcement.
**A Brief Overview of the iPad 2**
The iPad 2 boasts several exciting features that I'd love to highlight. First and foremost, it has a faster graphics processor, which should provide smoother performance for games and other graphics-intensive apps. Additionally, the processor is 33% thinner than its predecessor, making it more portable and convenient to carry around.
Another notable feature of the iPad 2 is its improved camera. The new 720p camera is capable of taking stunning photos and videos, and I'm excited to see how it performs in real-world scenarios. Unfortunately, the same battery life as the original iPad means that users can expect up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge.
**AirPlay Support and Other Features**
One of my favorite parts about the new iPad is its improved AirPlay support. This feature allows users to stream music, videos, and other content from their iOS devices to their HDTVs or home theaters. I'm excited to see how this feature will be used in the future, and I think it's a great way for Apple to extend its ecosystem beyond just mobile devices.
Another notable feature is Photo Booth, which allows users to take silly photos of themselves or friends using their iOS device. And with FaceTime, users can make video calls over the internet, making it easy to stay in touch with loved ones. While I don't use FaceTime personally, I know many people who will appreciate this new feature.
**A Glimpse into the Future: IMovie and GarageBand**
I'm also excited about two new features that were announced during the keynote: iMovie and GarageBand. These apps allow users to create stunning movies and music using their iOS devices. With iMovie, users can import photos and videos from their camera roll and create a movie using a variety of templates and effects. And with GarageBand, users can create and edit their own music tracks using a user-friendly interface.
**Saying Goodbye to My iPad 1**
After using my original iPad for so long, I've decided it's time to say goodbye to this device. While I'll miss the familiar feel of the device in my hands, I know that an iPad is always available to me if I need one. In fact, I'm planning to sell my iPad 1 on eBay and use the proceeds to buy a brand-new iPad 2.
As for the buyer, don't worry – you'll be getting a quality product with minimal scratches or damage. And as a special thank you, I'll throw in a few extras like cases, Apple stickers, and an original box and cable.
