Bricked by iOS 13.5 Developer Beta 3: A Cautionary Tale

Hey guys welcome back to the channel today i want to share some important information in regards to iOS 13.5 developer beta 3 in case you're running to software so you can take precautions because thirteen point five a developer beta three actually bricked my iphone 11 pro max to the point where apple is replacing the entire unit in and is now stuck on a boot loop or recovery screen and i cant restore it with DFU mode recovery mode and nothing will fix it

I did contact Apple, they ran some diagnostics on this device and I'ma share some of the details in this video with you guys. Now the first symptoms were that the face ID new feature for I was thirteen point five the mask detection wasn't working properly I even contacted some other filler youtubers to ask if the software was behaving properly on their end and they all say that was fine however my device is a face ID mask detection that Apple added thirteen point five wasn't working fine from the get-go

Now a day went by and then face ID completely stopped working out of nowhere on thirteen point five again developer of beta three so I let it go I thought you know it was probably just a hiccups from the beta would come back but no. I went to reboot the device and it got stuck on a boot loop the Apple logo boot loops so I forced restarted the device came back to the home screen everything was fine since then face ID still did not work

I didn't gave it another day and then it turned out that when I came back to the device later during the night it was stuck on an Apple logo and then it ended up on this screen here. I contacted Apple, they did run some diagnostics on this device and it turns out software within Iowa's thirteen point five could have been the cause of the face ID sensor on my primary iPhone 11 Pro max to be damaged to the point where Apple can't fix it only replace the unit on my device so now I have a unit coming out for complete replacement as you can see here this was earlier today

I did contact Apple, they're gonna be sending me a replacement iPhone 11 Pro max because Iowa's thirteen point five developer beta three just completely bricked this device and again this is coming directly from Apple. They ran some diagnostics over the phone they had some details so if you notice that your device's face ID on iOS 13 point 5 beta 3 just stops working properly or isn't bad properly contact Apple right away do not try to power off your device because it would be braked guarantee

I also noticed when I'm on a phone call and I have the flash disabled in the camera this is completely out of subject but I wanted to share that when you're in the camera get this little triangle here for the flash deactivated if you've seen that before let me know but this one is running the beta as well. This is the iPhone that's the second generation but I noticed that within the camera there's a new triangle there with the exclamation marks telling you that the flash isn't active whereas deactivated during phone calls that's when I was making the phone call to report the iPhone 11 pro max these minor details I wanted to share with you guys as a side note

But again I was thirteen point five completely bricked my device and yes I tried recovery mode I tried DFU mode I tried all the options that Apple threw my way the software is corrupt the face ID sensor is damaged beyond repair so the device needs to be replaced.
