the differences between the Galaxy buds lineup so you got the Galaxy buds 2 Pro 229 bucks the Galaxy buds 2 150 bucks and the Galaxy buds Fan Edition 100 bucks okay so let's see any major differences the water resistant okay so with the big boys the ipx7 everything else ipx2 let's see uh battery life it looks like The Fan Edition has the best battery life but you also have more features of course on the Galaxy buds 2 Pro you got our 24-bit high-i sound versus just regular sound all of them have microphones let's see the new ones Bluetooth 5.2 5.2 versus 5.3 is on the big boys let's see okay well basically look at the driver unit okay so with the buds 2 Pro you got a two-way wolfer and Tweeter with the buds 2 two-way Dynamic with powerful base versus The Fan Edition one-way 6.5 mimet okay now one quick side note I know a lot of people going to say why are they calling it The Fan Edition if they taking away Wireless charge those are things that the fans want and honestly I kind of agree with that because one of the best features about the Galaxy buds having the Wireless charge is being able to charge your earbuds right from your phone but also you got to remember this okay iPhones are not the only phones that have reverse wired charging so you g got you got your galaxybuds fan Edition all you got to do is bring a little cable plug it into your phone and watch this charging case looks very familiar these are my Galaxy buds 2 okay and this is the um y'all remember the Pokeball case these are the Galaxy buds 2 Pro I'll do a little sound comparison at the end of the video and see if um it really makes a difference but here's what you want to see the new wing tip design okay let's go ahead and um let's see if we can Palm these there's the new wing tip design you see that so you should get a more secure fit let's go ahead and drop them back in see one two B just like that inside you're going to get all shoes now you can do some work it comes with the USB type-c the USB type-c charging cable all shoes and expect that for quality and this is going to be some different size ear tips Let's see we got small medium and large okay so one should be already be installed and it should have some different Wings let's see these are some more of the this is not one this is not my day let me get to see if I can open these up these are some more of the Wings again that's what these are all about that new wing tip design so now you can actually wear these in the gym all right so let let me grab a phone we'll pair these up and start our usual testing Talk Amongst yourselves all right y so we back in first let's talk about the charging case now it's pretty much the same size as all of the Galaxy buds you got the glossy finish on this okay so with the white ones you really can't see the fingerprints open it up got the graphite interior let's check the magnet strength we'll start with minimum Shak no movement intermediate Shak no movement maximum Shak okay maximum Shak they did pop out so let's do the drop test okay we'll do three drops we'll do one more okay so it looks like the magnet is good enough to keep the earbuds from popping out when you drop them now when I was reading online the biggest gripe that people have with these is no Wireless charge and you had all of my dudes from the Apple Mafia raving about reverse wired charging so now you can charge it airpods on the go same thing okay and I'm going to show you in real time one more time just plug in the cable that came with your earbuds to your Galaxy phone and you see that charging right up so don't let the no Wireless charge discover uh discourage you you can still charge these up on the go now for the actual earbuds let's do a little comparison you see with the Galaxy buds 2 no wing tips okay so you see that Wing design believe it or not that Wing design makes a huge difference especially if you want to use these to do some uh outdoor activities or some kind of gym stuff let's see the Galaxy buds 2 Pro same thing no wings more secure fit here's how they look one more time you got your touch controls on the inside there's your pins official tissue all right so now let's check the pairing process we're just going to open up the case look how fast that was we hit connect download the software and you're good to go under 5 seconds for that appearing okay let's see how long this take to get fully set up that was literally less than 1 minute that's pry dope all right so after that one minute pairing process here's how the app looks you got a picture of your earbuds the name of your earbuds the battery percentage for the left the right and the charging case you got some tips and tricks okay airbud fit test we'll do that later you got touch controls okay so you got single Tap Play and pause double tap go to the next track Triple Trap go to the previous track touch and hold switch between noise cancellation and Ambient sound mode and you also got double tap and double tap and hold let's see airbud settings okay so you got a fully functional EQ with presets we'll start off on normal you got your airbud fit test again I'm going to do that off camera read your notifications alloud if you want you got your Bigby wake up voice use Ambient sound during calls you got inair detection for calls seamless airbud connection labs this is going to be your gaming mode for low latency you can reset them your accessibility settings uh let's see uh airbuds software update diagnosis about airbuds okay everything looks good now I want to show youall one more thing let's do find my buds okay now I'm not going to show you my address but it did pop up let me just um look the address did pop up but let's try to ring the earbuds let's hit start play sound oh look at that y hear that okay so to find my buds does work so the app simple and straightforward let's go to one more thing you do have noise cancellation and Ambient sound mode you got to be wearing the airbuds to activate those all right so now let's talk about the look The fit and the feel and one quick side note I'm wearing the airbuds right now and I have on Ambient sound mode the Ambient sound mode sounds pretty good that's not as good as the airpod pros or the Galaxy buds 2 Pro but it's actually very good for $100 earbuds I am not complaining my voice sounds very natural and it doesn't have that annoying robotic sound to it now the earbuds they do have a secure fit with the wing tips okay let me do the headshake test I'm going to start with minimum Shak hold up let me take my glasses off okay no movement intermediate shage no movement let's do maximum shage no movement and since these are all about the new fit we're going to have to step up to ludicrous shage all right let me back up a little bit let's try ludicrous shage okay these did not move at all let me show you how they look in my ears okay very discreet no branding I love these okay I love the look of the buds without that annoying pencil style that stem these fit right in your ears and that wing tip is very secure all right so now let's do a little sound test all right so I got a classic song queued up we got Ghost Town DJs my boo the hitman's club mix if you never heard this song pause the video and download it right now it's a certified Banger I'm going to start off with active noise cancellation turned on the EQ set the stock max volume and I promise yall I'm not going to sing because I actually want to hear these Birdman hands rubbing together one tap for playing pause shoes is leaving the scene cuz she know what time it is let's get it on okay okay let's just make sure we got maximum volume okay quick story this is a song that I actually used to dance to in the club I mean let's go to EQ okay yeah normal yeah normal is very normal okay base boost now y'all know I like Dynamic okay now that's is what I'm talking about let's try treble okay very clean so far Dynamic is the wave you I want you to have you hold you squeeze you so I'm going out every weekend just to see my boo oh I got to stand up hold up at night I think I want to be your okay hold up now I got to try something hold up let's go to let's see can I custom no custom okay so we're going to have to do Dynamic I would have like to have seen a custom EQ that's a little disappointing okay Bas Bo sounds good too let's see hold up let's do our nipy hustle let me pause I'm sorry y'all I'm sorry I'm trying to concentrate on the review but the music is banging so hard in my ears man making me dance like I said I'm a little disappointed I would like to have seen a custom EQ let's try blue laces too why not okay we're going to leave it on Bas boost okay hold up okay okay oh okay okay hold up let they know that okay okay I'm GNA um go to music okay I'm gonna say this for 100 bucks all right 100 bucks this is an easy sale okay for 100 bucks again I don't know why when they say Fan Edition they take away the things the fans want what fan doesn't want Wireless charge what fan doesn't want a custom EQ I don't know I don't know but just right out the right out of the gate all right out of the gate they nice and loud I will say that the base is clean if you heard any Galaxy buds now I'm going to do some side by-side comparisons but I would say they sound a the same I'm going to have to really listen to it closely but they sound great and if y'all wondering why the Galaxy buds 2 and the Galaxy buds 2 Pro are never in my top 10 it's just because there's so many earbuds that I like to sound better but these actually do sound good though they really sound good and for 100 bucks like I said this will be an easy sell okay I would I would definitely pick these up at that price tag but let's do a little bit more testing okay so one quick observation here's my Galaxy buds 2 Pro same thing with with the EQ there's no custom EQ you just got presets that was another thing I remember that I didn't like about the buds 2 Pro like why have an EQ that doesn't let you do the V pattern to get the most out of it although the dynamic does sound great I would like to have the custom EQ now you see with the buds 2 Pro you do have 360 head track in you know you do have a few more features but other than that pretty much the same on the app all right so let's do the reconnection test let's see how long these take to reconnect to your phone after you take them out and put them in the charging case so as you can see they're connected let's get them pop them out close them up disconnected okay so here we go one Mississippi two Mississippi three Mississippi three Mississippi and they connected just that fast so the connection is impeccable now let's do the one earbud test can you play music from One earbud while the other ones are charging up in the case let's find out I'm going to hit play on the music let's take out the left earbud drop it in the case close it up the right side is still playing okay so now let's put the left side back in wait for it to reconnect there it is now I'm going to put the right side in the case close it up the left side is still playing so this is pretty dope you can use either airbud independently doubling your battery life now let's check the touch controls and keep in mind these are fully customizable but here's how I got mine set up so for the right earbud single tap for play and pause okay there it is double tap to go to the next song okay triple tap to go to the previous track okay long press for voice assistant what's the weather for today okay and for the left earbud if I press and hold that's going to cycle between active noise cancellation and transparency mode now if you like volume up and down you can just switch that in the settings all right so I don't want this video to take too long so I did the rest of my testing off camera and here's the results as far as the range test I walked all the way to 30 ft no drop connection at all as far as latency I watch some YouTube Netflix Amazon Prime and the Zeus Network had to check out baddies no issues with latency no lips sying delay this is going to be perfect for watching your videos and if you like to do a lot of mobile gaming just go to the lab setting and turn on low latency mode as far as the call Quality it was pretty good okay so I called up Amaya I talk to on the phone every day she said she heard me fine I heard her fine she ranked it at a solid 7.5 I ranked it at an eight so I would say these have excellent call Quality now as far as active noise cancellation and transparency mode the transparency mode is excellent the same for all of the Galaxy buds okay all of them whichever ones you get they all going to have excellent core quality and excellent uh transparency mode but the noise cancellation the noise cancellation is definitely better on both of these I would say these have the least amount of noise cancellation but you got to remember you know and this doesn't go for everything in life but it goes for a lot of stuff in life you get what you pay for okay there's a reason why these cost double the price because they sound better they have better noise cancellation better call Quality better transparency mode everything is pretty much better these are like a water down version but not too far watered down okay for 100 bucks I am not complaining I would say the active noise cancellation would be if I had to rank it in my three tiers you know we got trash tier okay tier and top tier I would say these are high tier okay tier or low tier top tier okay so they're not bad at all not bad at all now I'm going to do a quick side side by side comparison cuz I really want to do this uh correctly I want to compare the sound differences between all three of these earbuds and I also got to have a fight with white shoes on the side so I'll be right back okay so I got three Galaxy phones paired up I did some thorough testing same EQ settings same volume same song Same streaming service and here's my results as far as the Galaxy buds 2 and the Galaxy buds Fan Edition honestly okay here my honest opinion they kind of sound the same they basically sound the same you're going to notice the real difference in sound quality if you compare the buds Fan Edition with the buds 2 Pro now the buds 2 Pro you're going to notice the difference in the bass okay the clarity they sound way better so if you all about the music spend that extra couple of bucks go with the buds 2 Pro however if you want to save a buck okay I would recommend going with the Galaxy buds Fan Edition over the Galaxy buds 2 they sound basically the same okay you're going to get the same features they sound the same put it like that they sound the same anyway let's goad and wrap this video up all right so overall on a scale of 1 to 10 I'm giving the Samsung Galaxy buds Fan Edition a major major go and at 100 bucks as Bob Barker would say the price is right now my only gripes with these is there's no Wireless charge so if you got your phone just walk with your cable the a is mid and no custom EQ other than that these are nice and Loud the base is clean and you do have some different EQ presets the sound quality was great the call Quality was pretty good you can use either airbud independently these have the longest battery life out of all of the Galaxy Buds and that secure fit that makes a huge difference a lot of y'all don't like these kind of earbuds cuz they're going to fall out of your ears in the gym I always recommend people to get earbuds with the wings on it okay so if you're buying these to work out make sure your earbuds have wings now you got the wings a nice secure fit so I would highly recommend these now one quick side note if you go to samsung.com I think they giv away a free silicone case it's always cool to have your earbuds in a nice aftermarket case now a lot of people been asking me about this right so now let's talk about the look The fit and the feel and one quick side note I'm wearing the airbuds right now and I have on Ambient sound mode the Ambient sound mode sounds pretty good that's not as good as the airpod pros or the Galaxy buds 2 Pro but it's actually very good for $100 earbuds I am not complaining my voice sounds very natural and it doesn't have that annoying robotic sound to it now the earbuds they do have a secure fit with the wing tips okay let me do the headshake test I'm going to start with minimum Shak hold up let me take my glasses off okay no movement intermediate shage no movement let's do maximum shage no movement and since these are all about the new fit we're going to have to step up to ludicrous shage all right let me back up a little bit let's try ludicrous shage okay these did not move at all let me show you how they look in my ears okay very discreet no branding I love these okay I love the look of the buds without that annoying pencil style that stem these fit right in your ears and that wing tip is very secure all right so now let's do a little sound test all right so I got a classic song queued up we got Ghost Town DJs my boo the hitman's club mix if you never heard this song pause the video and download it right now it's a certified Banger I'm going to start off with active noise cancellation turned on the EQ set the stock max volume and I promise yall I'm not going to sing because I actually want to hear these Birdman hands rubbing together one tap for playing pause shoes is leaving the scene cuz she know what time it is let's get it on okay okay let's just make sure we got maximum volume okay quick story this is a song that I actually used to dance to in the club I mean Full Throttle dancing okay here we go y'all boy you should know that I got you on my mind your secret and my here it comes y I've been watching you at night I think of you I want to be your lady if your G yo the sound good hold up if you love this song I'm G to give my to you at night I think of you this got me dancing hold up hold up all right now we're gonna have to switch up his is all right let's go to EQ okay yeah normal yeah normal is very normal okay base boost now y'all know I like Dynamic okay now that's is what I'm talking about let's try treble okay very clean so far Dynamic is the wave you I want you to have you hold you squeeze you so I'm going out every weekend just to see my boo oh I got to stand up hold up at night I think I want to be your okay hold up now I got to try something hold up let's go to let's see can I custom no custom okay so we're going to have to do Dynamic I would have like to have seen a custom EQ that's a little disappointing okay Bas Bo sounds good too let's see hold up let's do our nipy hustle let me pause I'm sorry y'all I'm sorry I'm trying to concentrate on the review but the music is banging so hard in my ears man making me dance like I said I'm a little disappointed I would like to have seen a custom EQ let's try blue laces too why not okay we're going to leave it on Bas boost okay hold up okay okay oh okay okay hold up let they know that okay okay I'm GNA um go to music okay I'm gonna say this for 100 bucks all right 100 bucks this is an easy sale okay for 100 bucks again I don't know why when they say Fan Edition they take away the things the fans want what fan doesn't want Wireless charge what fan doesn't want a custom EQ I don't know I don't know but just right out the right out of the gate all right out of the gate they nice and loud I will say that the base is clean if you heard any Galaxy buds now I'm going to do some side by-side comparisons but I would say they sound a the same I'm going to have to really listen to it closely but they sound great and if y'all wondering why the Galaxy buds 2 and the Galaxy buds 2 Pro are never in my top 10 it's just because there's so many earbuds that I like to sound better but these actually do sound good though they really sound good and for 100 bucks like I said this will be an easy sell okay I would I would definitely pick these up at that price tag but let's do a little bit more testing okay so one quick observation here's my Galaxy buds 2 Pro same thing with with the EQ there's no custom EQ you just got presets that was another thing I remember that I didn't like about the buds 2 Pro like why have an EQ that doesn't let you do the V pattern to get the most out of it although the dynamic does sound great I would like to have the custom EQ now you see with the buds 2 Pro you do have 360 head track in you know you do have a few more features but other than that pretty much the same on the app all right so let's do the reconnection test let's see how long these take to reconnect to your phone after you take them out and put them in the charging case so as you can see they're connected let's get them pop them out close them up disconnected okay so here we go one Mississippi two Mississippi three Mississippi three Mississippi and they connected just that fast so the connection is impeccable now let's do the one earbud test can you play music from One earbud while the other ones are charging up in the case let's find out I'm going to hit play on the music let's take out the left earbud drop it in the case close it up the right side is still playing okay so now let's put the left side back in wait for it to reconnect there it is now I'm going to put the right side in the case close it up the left side is still playing so this is pretty dope you can use either airbud independently doubling your battery life now let's check the touch controls and keep in mind these are fully customizable but here's how I got mine set up so for the right earbud single tap for play and pause okay there it is double tap to go to the next song okay triple tap to go to the previous track okay long press for voice assistant what's the weather for today okay and for the left earbud if I press and hold that's going to cycle between active noise cancellation and transparency mode now if you like volume up and down you can just switch that in the settings all right so I don't want this video to take too long so I did the rest of my testing off camera and here's the results as far as the range test I walked all the way to 30 ft no drop connection at all as far as latency I watch some YouTube Netflix Amazon Prime and the Zeus Network had to check out baddies no issues with latency no lips sying delay this is going to be perfect for watching your videos and if you like to do a lot of mobile gaming just go to the lab setting and turn on low latency mode as far as the call Quality it was pretty good okay so I called up Amaya I talk to on the phone every day she said she heard me fine I heard her fine she ranked it at a solid 7.5 I ranked it at an eight so I would say these have excellent call Quality now as far as active noise cancellation and transparency mode the transparency mode is excellent the same for all of the Galaxy buds okay all of them whichever ones you get they all going to have excellent core quality and excellent uh transparency mode but the noise cancellation the noise cancellation is definitely better on both of these I would say these have the least amount of noise cancellation but you got to remember you know and this doesn't go for everything in life but it goes for a lot of stuff in life you get what you pay for okay there's a reason why these cost double the price because they sound better they have better noise cancellation better call Quality better transparency mode everything is pretty much better these are like a water down version but not too far watered down okay for 100 bucks I am not complaining I would say the active noise cancellation would be if I had to rank it in my three tiers you know we got trash tier okay tier and top tier I would say these are high tier okay tier or low tier top tier okay so they're not bad at all not bad at all now I'm going to do a quick side side by side comparison cuz I really want to do this uh correctly I want to compare the sound differences between all three of these earbuds and I also got to have a fight with white shoes on the side so I'll be right back okay so I got three Galaxy phones paired up I did some thorough testing same EQ settings same volume same song Same streaming service and here's my results as far as the Galaxy buds 2 and the Galaxy buds Fan Edition honestly okay here my honest opinion they kind of sound the same they basically sound the same you're going to notice the real difference in sound quality if you compare the buds Fan Edition with the buds 2 Pro now the buds 2 Pro you're going to notice the difference in the bass okay the clarity they sound way better so if you all about the music spend that extra couple of bucks go with the buds 2 Pro however if you want to save a buck okay I would recommend going with the Galaxy buds Fan Edition over the Galaxy buds 2 they sound basically the same okay you're going to get the same features they sound the same put it like that they sound the same anyway let's goad and wrap this video up all right so overall on a scale of 1 to 10 I'm giving the Samsung Galaxy buds Fan Edition a major major go and at 100 bucks as Bob Barker would say the price is right now my only gripes with these is there's no Wireless charge so if you got your phone just walk with your cable the a is mid and no custom EQ other than that these are nice and Loud the base is clean and you do have some different EQ presets the sound quality was great the call Quality was pretty good you can use either airbud independently these have the longest battery life out of all of the Galaxy Buds and that secure fit that makes a huge difference a lot of y'all don't like these kind of earbuds cuz they're going to fall out of your ears in the gym I always recommend people to get earbuds with the wings on it okay so if you're buying these to work out make sure your earbuds have wings now you got the wings a nice secure fit so I would highly recommend these now one quick side note if you go to samsung.com I think they giv away a free silicone case it's always cool to have your earbuds in a nice aftermarket case now a lot of people been asking me about this one this was the Pokeball okay now and this was the uh Tom Brown case it looks like all of these cases will fit matter of fact let me try something okay check this out if you like the Pokeball case the Galaxy buds Fan Edition fit
