14' MacBook Pro (2020) - What We Know!

The Future of Intel Processors: A New Era of Performance and Power Efficiency

Since the Broadwell architecture was released back in 2014, we've been on 14 nanometers, which is a significant step forward in terms of technology. However, Intel's next big thing is its 10th generation processor, which offers higher performance for lower power consumption than the previous 40 nanometer architectures. This new architecture is expected to offer double the integrated graphics performance compared to the Gen 9 processors, making it an attractive option for laptops and other mobile devices.

One of the most exciting developments in Intel's 10th generation processors is its potential impact on Apple's upcoming MacBook Pro lineup. The Dell XPS 13 inch two-in-one laptop, which comes with the exact same processor as the rumored new 14-inch MacBook Pro, offers a glimpse into what we can expect from Apple's new device. With Intel's Gen 11 graphics and a range of processor options, including the quad-core i5-10210U and six-core i7-10710U, this laptop is set to offer exceptional performance and power efficiency.

The Dell XPS 13 inch two-in-one laptop is also notable for its use of Intel's new DDR4 memory, which offers speeds of up to 3,700 MHz. This is a significant upgrade from the LPDDR3 memory found in previous generations, making it an attractive option for laptops that require high-speed memory. However, there is a catch - only the quad-core i5-10210U processor supports LPDDR4 memory, while the six-core i7-10710U processor only comes with Intel's UHD graphics.

The prospect of Apple releasing a new MacBook Pro with a 14-inch display has been rumored for some time, and it seems that this may finally be happening. The device is expected to feature a range of processor options, including the quad-core i5-10200U and six-core i7-10710U, as well as Intel's Gen 11 graphics. This would make it an attractive option for those who need a powerful laptop with a large display.

However, there are some concerns about the availability of certain features in Apple's new MacBook Pro. For example, only the quad-core i5-10210U processor supports LPDDR4 memory, which may limit the device's performance. Additionally, Intel's UHD graphics are not as powerful as the integrated graphics found in some other laptops, which may be a disappointment for those who want high-performance graphics.

Despite these concerns, there is still much to be excited about when it comes to Apple's new MacBook Pro. "WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat is happening with a 14 inch macbook pro well you see the 14 tribal pro is very likely going to be my next mac my next daily driver and there's a very high chance that his 40 inch macbook pro will be released next year and early next year actually say I'll buckle up and here's everything we know so far to keep your Mac running fast and secure check out intel's premium bundle x9 that includes a number of very useful tools for your Mac he's lying below to get a 60 percent discount okay so just a few weeks ago Apple has released a brand new 16 inch macbook pro now this is a replacement for the 50 inch model that we've had since 2016 and the whole idea of this macbook pro is basically to fix all the issues that we've had with a 15 inch model the keyboard now has the scissor mechanism as opposed to the highly controversial butterfly mechanism that kept breaking so yeah it looks and feels more of like a traditional keyboard which is which is great the bezels got shrunken down so we get a slightly more modern design and aside from that we also get a slightly larger display a 16 inch display up from the fifty point four inch panel that we had before and then the thermal system has also been redesigned and the whole machine is actually performing better than the early 2019 15-inch MacBook Pro which actually had the same processor as the 16 inch model the speaker's had all been improved to the point where the 16 channel pro now sounds like a mini home pod they're very very good and that the microphones are also noticeably better than before to the point where Apple is calling these studio quality microphones okay and this is how the microphone sounds like and also with the front-facing camera this is a 20-17 MacBook Pro by the way now this is the 2018 micro Pro so this one hasn't he do processor so the image should be a bit bit nicer and the microphone should sound a bit clearer as well and now this is the 2016 2016 20 19 16 inch Bronco pro so this is how the camera looks like and this is seldom microphones sound like the battery has been extended to 11 hours from the usual 10 hours that we've pretty much always had on the MacBook Pros so the 16 charm Pro is indeed a pretty good improvement over the 15-inch model okay so now what about the 13-inch MacBook Pro well that beginning an upgrade similar to what a 15-inch model got and if so when will that be well this is a bit of a tricky one because you see I don't think the 60 inch rival pro is a new generation of MacBook Pros like back in 2006 we got the first generation MacBook Pro which actually used the exact same design as the PowerBook g4 the only difference being that it came with an Intel processor then in 2008 we got a second generation of a GoPro and that one came with a major redesign we got the unibody aluminium builds which was years ahead of everything that was on the market at a time then in 2012 we got the third-generation of a GoPro once again with a major redesign this one feature not only a much thinner form factor but also full flash storage a Retina display which was the highest resolution display at the time on any laptop and that was actually my favor and not just laptop but my favorite device I've ever used in my life that was incredible that was still the device that marked me the most so to say yeah maile 2013 15 inch retina MacBook Pro and then in 2016 we got the four generation of a GoPro which once again featured a redesign with a much thinner body a touch board that replaces the function row keys and now a space great color option alongside that controversial butterfly keyboard that I was talking about before so the question here is is the 20 19 16 struggle pro the fifth generation of mega pros and I'm leaning towards no that is because of the fact that this is not a redesign just a 15-inch model with some small design tweaks but also because Apple hasn't released an updated 30 inch model to go alongside the new 16 inch MacBook Pro when they released a new generation they always release both so it's a bit strange that they haven't this time which points to me that this is not generation of five a generation 4.5 instead now make sure code did say that Apple will be adding a new scissor switch keyboard to both the MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro in 2020 but according to him the display size will actually remain the same at least judging from this table here that he's made now digitized Taiwan they did claim that Apple will keep the same 13.3 inch display size on the 13-inch MacBook Pro but you see I don't really think that that's going to be the case and that's because you see in july 2019 Apple has discontinued the 12-inch MacBook even though this was a very popular Mac which a lot of people bought because they wanted the most portable app that Apple was making which was a 12-inch MacBook and interesting enough not the MacBook Air and since this one hasn't been updated since 2017 CPU wise Apple decided to just discontinue it but you see I don't think the 12-inch MacBook is that entirely mostly because we do know that Apple is working on moving away from Intel and embedding their own a-series processors into their Macs I mean we haven't seen multiple benchmarks of each bench for with some insane scores on what's rumored to be an upcoming 12-inch MacBook with one of these a series processors the a14 most likely and even Intel has officially stated that yes Apple will be switching to their own processors in 2020 so that's looking extremely likely that Apple will re release the 12-inch MacBook in 2020 with a pretty significant jump in performance and when they do that it would make a lot of sense to also update a 13-inch model because in that way the lineup would be 12-inch 14-inch and 16 inch but of course the 30 inch MacBook Air right in between so what we did is that we actually modeled our very own render of how we imagined the 14 inch by GoPro would look like I mean realistically Apple will apply the same formula that they applied to the current 16 inch model so this means a slightly larger display from 13.3 inches - very likely 14 inches which is actually a bigger display size increase from the 15 point 4 inches to the 16 inch model this means that the bezels themselves will also be getting thinner now unfortunately when we increase that is place size to 14 inches the display would simply not fit inside a card body so we had to make ours wider which means that Apple will very likely do the same in case they decide to go with a fortunate display that is so overall we are getting a slightly larger body just like the 16 to aqua pro while slightly larger than the 15-inch model I don't really have an issue with this as long as Apple doesn't make the new 14th rival pro heavier or thicker because you see for me at least this is why I always love the 30 inch model it was basically the perfect blend between portability and performance the 50 inch model was much bigger much heavier and quite a bit thicker as well okay what else well the keyboard will also be getting an improvement this is pretty much certain on this point that we would be getting the brand-new scissor switch keyboard which does offer a more key travel and also more tactile feedback than the previous butterfly switch mechanism did unfortunately it is a bit more wobbly than the butterfly mechanism and there is a bit more space in between the keys so it will take you some time adjusting to it but yeah overall this is a better keyboard and I'm really really looking forward to it oh and also personally I've always found it easier typing from a 30 inch laptop than from a larger 15 inch one mostly because on 13s lotsa for example the keyboard extends to basically the bezels or frame of the entire laptop so the keyboard is the laptop whereas on the 15 inch model he had this massive metal board on which the keyboard is resting on and I don't know I just find that to be a bit uncomfortable to type on but I do let me know the comments for you what do you guys think about this if this is the case for you as well now going back to our model we actually kept the touch bar the same as before however the Escape key would be very likely a separate key just like on a 16 inch model and the same thing goes for the touch ID button which is now separate as well the speakers are very likely to be improved just like the 60 inch model got significant improved speakers over the 15 inch model so to expect similar to what we got on a 60 inch model here as well so with richer mids and more based in the speaker's then the microphones are also very likely to be improved similar to what we got with the 16 inch model so yeah for the most part this 40 inch Bible Pro would just be a scaled-down version of the 16 inch macbook pro but a few visual differences of course which would be the shorter speaker grille the shorter space between the touch bar and the display and overall I do actually believe that this MacBook Pro looks way better than the 16 inch iPad pro does same as I believe that you know the 13 travel pro looks way better to my eyes then the 50 inch model did and yes this also means that we would very likely be getting the same horrible 720p front-facing camera that a 16 inch 500 pro has so yeah not great Apple not great the colors will be the same as before so silver and Space Gray we actually modeled ours in silver because it actually looks quite a bit better and silver or maybe because you know we haven't really seen a silver MacBook Pro in a while like everyone was using Space Gray Man GoPros and we kind of got tired of that so yeah this was the design so what about the performance and the specs well the current high stand model of the 13-inch rival pro this one comes with the until 85 69u processor which is a quad core i7 22 Girt cpu with a turbo boost speed of 4.7 gigahertz and this is actually a very powerful CPU it's more powerful than a 20-17 15-inch MacBook Pro and now that a 60 inch Bible Pro has eight cores it's unfortunately significantly less powerful than that however this is still an a generation processor and in Seoul has now released their new 10 generation chips and this is what's the upcoming 14-inch rival Pro be using now these chips have actually been released around August 2019 so I'm quite surprised that Apple hasn't released a 14 inch MacBook Pro yet and a new MacBook Air as well around November alongside a 16 inch MacBook Pro considering that like us at least chips were indeed available for quite some time already the new Dell XPS 13 inch two-in-one this is actually my favorite laptop of the year I simply love this thing it looks incredible the keyboard is incredible the battery life is around 10 hours which is you know insane and you can actually get even more than that so overall this is an amazing laptop and this one comes when he insult n65 g7 processor which is actually Intel's 10 generation CPU based on a centimeter process now from 40 nanometers and this is also a quad-core shape when a base clock of 1.3 gigahertz and a turbo boost of up to 3.9 gear Hertz and Intel saturation processors are actually a very big deal because you see ever since the Broadwell architecture which was released back in 2014 we've been on 14 nanometers so 10 meters is Intel's next big thing it offers higher performance for lower power consumption than the previous 40 nanometer architectures and double the integrated graphics performance with Intel's new gen 11 graphics versus the gen 9 actually the full video on the Dell XPS 13 inch two-in-one which comes with the exact same processor and I did talk about why the 10th generation processor is so big so yeah feel free to watch that video here and this appeal is a very good option a very good candidate for the new 14 inch MacBook Pro and considering that the 14th rival Pro will be a bit bigger than the 13-inch model it should also come with a larger battery which thinks to intel's new $10 processors we might be getting even more than 11 hours of battery life like the 16 inch Bible Pro gods by the way d-16 chicago Pro has Intel's ninth generation processors and not a tangent because those ones the H series isn't out just yet so that's coming in mid 2020 by the way now there is a second CPU model that might be included in this new MacBook Pro and that is the Intel i7 10710 you now this is also a 10 generation processor however this one uses the old 14 nanometer architecture I know it's very confusing that not all 10 generation processors from Intel are based on a 10 a meter architecture but anyway this processor is actually a 6 core processor with a base clock speed of 1 point one gigahertz and a turbo speed of 4.7 gigahertz we also have a 12 megabytes level 3 cache so yeah this is a very powerful processor along the same level as the six core 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro and therefore I do believe that a highest-end version of the 40 inch Bible Pro would indeed come with a 6 core processor while the entry-level model would come with a quad core 1065 g7 CPU which would offer a better battery life now Intel sin generation processors that are also based on intimated our process those processor supports all P ddr4 memory up to 3,700 33 megahertz which is actually a massive speed bump from the car into 21 33 megahertz LP ddr3 memory that we have in the third king rambow Pro however there is a catch you see only the 1065 g7 processor only down supports lpddr4 and like I said not the 10710 you some characters to see how Apple approaches this like they would either drop the six core model in favor of RAM speed consistencies across all the models of the 14 Travelpro otherwise they would have faster RAM on the low-end model which is a bit strange also in case you want to see a laptop wid ste until 10710 you processor well in that case the dell XPS 13 inch 2019 so not the two-in-one model but a standard model dauntless come with a 6 core processor GPU wise like I said the integrated graphics in the truth 10 generations so the 1065 g7 processor these are very very good we also get until Cyrus post graphics here however we don't get this with the Intel 10710 you processor which only comes with Intel's u HD graphics there we go this might be the reason why Apple wanted to wait they probably wanted to bump the higher-end 13-inch MacBook Pro to six cores but until doesn't have a true next generation 6 core processor ready for laptops just yet aside from the four core 1000 meter model but CS is just around the corner and I do see until releasing some you'd shapes around the time and considering that we have had rumors that the 13 Travelpro would be getting a refresh in early 2020 I do believe that around March this is one we'll see the new 14 inch MacBook Pro and I'm extremely extremely excited for this like this would be a perfect form factor for me as I don't need the performance of a 60-inch rival Pro anymore so yeah really looking forward to that but yeah definitely let me know in the comments what do you guys think about this upcoming 14 inch macbook pro or if you think that Apple would actually just keep a 13.3 inch display same design and just something the keyboard and maybe 10 duration processor this would be like the lazy way to do that but yeah let me know in the comments what you guys think about all of this and definitely subscribe notifications if you want to see more interesting tech videos like this one hopefully was so thank you for watching I'm Daniel and I'll see you guys in the next one is that a fact signing notes chickswhat is happening with a 14 inch macbook pro well you see the 14 tribal pro is very likely going to be my next mac my next daily driver and there's a very high chance that his 40 inch macbook pro will be released next year and early next year actually say I'll buckle up and here's everything we know so far to keep your Mac running fast and secure check out intel's premium bundle x9 that includes a number of very useful tools for your Mac he's lying comes with the until 85 69u processor which is a quad core i7 22 Girt cpu with a turbo boost speed of 4.7 gigahertz and this is actually a very powerful CPU it's more powerful than a 20-17 15-inch MacBook Pro and now that a 60 inch Bible Pro has eight cores it's unfortunately significantly less powerful than that however this is still an a generation processor and in Seoul has now released their new 10 generation chips and this is what's the upcoming 14-inch rival Pro be using now these chips have actually been released around August 2019 so I'm quite surprised that Apple hasn't released a 14 inch MacBook Pro yet and a new MacBook Air as well around November alongside a 16 inch MacBook Pro considering that like us at least chips were indeed available for quite some time already the new Dell XPS 13 inch two-in-one this is actually my favorite laptop of the year I simply love this thing it looks incredible the keyboard is incredible the battery life is around 10 hours which is you know insane and you can actually get even more than that so overall this is an amazing laptop and this one comes when he insult n65 g7 processor which is actually Intel's 10 generation CPU based on a centimeter process now from 40 nanometers and this is also a quad-core shape when a base clock of 1.3 gigahertz and a turbo boost of up to 3.9 gear Hertz and Intel saturation processors are actually a very big deal because you see ever since the Broadwell architecture which was released back in 2014 we've been on 14 nanometers so 10 meters is Intel's next big thing it offers higher performance for lower power consumption than the previous 40 nanometer architectures and double the integrated graphics performance with Intel's new gen 11 graphics versus the gen 9 actually the full video on the Dell XPS 13 inch two-in-one which comes with the exact same processor and I did talk about why the 10th generation processor is so big so yeah feel free to watch that video here and this appeal is a very good option a very good candidate for the new 14 inch MacBook Pro and considering that the 14th rival Pro will be a bit bigger than the 13-inch model it should also come with a larger battery which thinks to intel's new $10 processors we might be getting even more than 11 hours of battery life like the 16 inch Bible Pro gods by the way d-16 chicago Pro has Intel's ninth generation processors and not a tangent because those ones the H series isn't out just yet so that's coming in mid 2020 by the way now there is a second CPU model that might be included in this new MacBook Pro and that is the Intel i7 10710 you now this is also a 10 generation processor however this one uses the old 14 nanometer architecture I know it's very confusing that not all 10 generation processors from Intel are based on a 10 a meter architecture but anyway this processor is actually a 6 core processor with a base clock speed of 1 point one gigahertz and a turbo speed of 4.7 gigahertz we also have a 12 megabytes level 3 cache so yeah this is a very powerful processor along the same level as the six core 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro and therefore I do believe that a highest-end version of the 40 inch Bible Pro would indeed come with a 6 core processor while the entry-level model would come with a quad core 1065 g7 CPU which would offer a better battery life now Intel sin generation processors that are also based on intimated our process those processor supports all P ddr4 memory up to 3,700 33 megahertz which is actually a massive speed bump from the car into 21 33 megahertz LP ddr3 memory that we have in the third king rambow Pro however there is a catch you see only the 1065 g7 processor only down supports lpddr4 and like I said not the 10710 you some characters to see how Apple approaches this like they would either drop the six core model in favor of RAM speed consistencies across all the models of the 14 Travelpro otherwise they would have faster RAM on the low-end model which is a bit strange also in case you want to see a laptop wid ste until 10710 you processor well in that case the dell XPS 13 inch 2019 so not the two-in-one model but a standard model dauntless come with a 6 core processor GPU wise like I said the integrated graphics in the truth 10 generations so the 1065 g7 processor these are very very good we also get until Cyrus post graphics here however we don't get this with the Intel 10710 you processor which only comes with Intel's u HD graphics there we go this might be the reason why Apple wanted to wait they probably wanted to bump the higher-end 13-inch MacBook Pro to six cores but until doesn't have a true next generation 6 core processor ready for laptops just yet aside from the four core 1000 meter model but CS is just around the corner and I do see until releasing some you'd shapes around the time and considering that we have had rumors that the 13 Travelpro would be getting a refresh in early 2020 I do believe that around March this is one we'll see the new 14 inch MacBook Pro and I'm extremely extremely excited for this like this would be a perfect form factor for me as I don't need the performance of a 60-inch rival Pro anymore so yeah really looking forward to that but yeah definitely let me know in the comments what do you guys think about this upcoming 14 inch macbook pro or if you think that Apple would actually just keep a 13.3 inch display same design and just something the keyboard and maybe 10 duration processor this would be like the lazy way to do that but yeah let me know in the comments what you guys think about all of this and definitely subscribe notifications if you want to see more interesting tech videos like this one hopefully was so thank you for watching I'm Daniel and I'll see you guys in the next one is that a fact signing notes chicks\n"
