Christmas Gift Bag Roundup: A Look Back at Last Year's Designs

I still remember the excitement I felt when I saw the Christmas gift bags from 2016. They were like a work of art, with intricate details and designs that made me feel warm and cozy inside. One particular image caught my eye - it was Santa Claus working in his workshop, checking his list, and surrounded by all the toys he had created. The detail that went into this design was amazing, and I loved how it felt like a real print.

As I continued to browse through last year's designs, I noticed that there were many more images with a vintage or country feel to them. One of my favorites featured a rooster, which added a touch of rustic charm to the bag. Another one showed a cardinal perched on a branch, surrounded by a beautiful night sky and a decorated tree. The designs were so varied and interesting that I found myself getting lost in the details.

I also stumbled upon a set of gift bags from Dollar Tree, which caught my eye with their bright colors and playful designs. One particular image featured a car with a shadowy effect, which added a touch of whimsy to the bag. Another one showed a pair of decals that I later used as Sultan's art in a different video project.

As I continued to look through last year's designs, I noticed that Dollar Tree kept putting out new and improved bags each year. They set the bar high with their previous designs, but they managed to keep up with the competition by introducing even more creative and unique ideas. One particular image caught my eye - it was a bag with a pop-up effect, featuring a winter wonderland scene.

Unfortunately, this year's designs didn't quite live up to last year's standards. The bags that were released seemed dull and uninspired compared to the amazing creations from 2016. I even went as far as to buy some of these bags just because they reminded me of better times, but I knew it was a temporary fix.

I've been collecting gift bags for years, and each year brings new excitement and anticipation. Last year's designs were truly exceptional, and I still can't get over how much I loved them. If Dollar Tree keeps putting out bags like that, I'll be happy to buy more and use them in my DIY projects.

Now, let me tell you about some of the specific bags I bought from last year's collection. The first one was from Target, a dollar spot brand, and it featured stripes in red. I went a bit crazy with this design and ended up doing DIYs with it. I've also seen these same bags come back from Dollar Tree this year, but they were not as colorful or exciting.

As for the second bag, it was also from Dollar Tree, and it featured a simple yet elegant design. The brand logo is visible on the screen, which added to the overall aesthetic of the bag. I've been collecting these types of bags for years, and each year, I find something new and interesting that I just can't get enough of.

My final favorite was from Dollar Tree as well, but this one featured a shadowy effect of a car on the screen. The design was so simple yet effective that it caught my eye right away. Another bag from Dollar Tree showed a rooster with a country feel to it, which added a touch of rustic charm to the bag.

As I continue to look through last year's designs, I'm reminded of just how much I love collecting gift bags. the items that I've purchased from Dollar Tree in the years past and kind of compare them to the Dollar Tree hauls I've been doing lately now I'm not gonna actually show those new items we're only gonna take a look at the old items but if you wanted to you could always like go back to my recent Dollar Tree halls and kind of compare looking at everything now I really do feel like last year's Dollar Tree was the best year and I just don't think that they have outdone themselves from last year at least not yet now here's the thing about Dollar Tree is they're always putting out new stuff all the time so I'm still waiting for them to kind of WoW me their bags have been letting me down and I have the bags from last year so I'm so excited to look at them again and this is exactly why I will purchase in like quantities because I'm always afraid they'll never come back to Dollar Tree and this is like that instance where I have not seen any of these bags come back at least not at my location so anyway I have you should just see everything you know what do you want to see do you want to see what I'm looking at I'll show you so this is kind of what I have in front of me oh and look at my socks so yeah so we've got all of that to go through let's kick this off with some of their like little decorative boxes from last year I remember when these came out I was just so excited about it I don't know if these are back again this year or not but I have seen some similar like the whole house structure but I don't know if I've seen the prints really cute look all the way around has an image and then this one kills me because in the window it actually says the reindeer names and they list all of them comet Cupid Donner Blitzen and then on this side you get Dasher dancer Prancer vixen and then Rudolph just gets screwed apparently he doesn't get anything and it says Saint Santa's reindeer headquarters really cute so and I did use these under the tree but I repurposed them so once she obviously like opened up the present then I just kept the boxes and this is the same thing love this box these are my favorite that Dollar Tree makes with like the brown paper bag top and then they're really pretty glittery like sign it's like peppermints oh look it's a gift in here let's take a look at some of these signs who remembers these I have not personally seen them come back again so I have the reindeer and a lot of these actually came from you guys when I had a peel box like you guys just knew how much I loved the reindeer and you showered me with the most beautiful gifts and I have them all have the blanket that someone made me I'm the coaster Oh apparently they're all the deer that's how many that's how many I got in the mail look how many uh-huh but they actually made like other prints too I just don't remember what they were might have hold them and it's like but where are they I don't even know but how gorgeous was this I have not seen this at Dollar Tree here are some of their like little tin cans now they do have these out again this year and I think I did see this pattern again this deer one and I may have seen this one out as well probably could be just like leftover stock items that they put back out that's not to say they're still printing these same images but I haven't been impressed with their ten cans now I absolutely adored those um the big ones that I hauled a couple weeks ago the ones with the scalloped edging top and it wasn't like metal it wasn't a tin can it was like plastic I don't know I got a snowflake one and a Christmassy one I love those already use a snowflake I put a bunch of cookies in it my daughter took it to her camp her her church camp and they had like a friendsgiving so we just put cookies in it and she brought that it's really cute here's another one house a deer and it has like ornaments in here a million dollars oh you know what I actually used this for my Christmas planner my dokey book so these are like all the little things and I kept it all in this tin can so I think I'm gonna do that again so I'm gonna go ahead and keep this guy out just to random things but they are the ribbons from last year I think they're a ribbon game is better this year than last year they're especially they're plaid the one that I recently hauled adore it and then in here are my precious reindeer how cute are they and I think that they've made like different like positions of the reindeer like this one he looks like he's leaping over some sort of like fence but it's not my favorite one my favorite one is let me show you this is my favorite one like the way that they're positioned uh kind of odd because they're kind of missing a fourth leg I mean I guess you assume that it's like equal with this but they should have tried till I put in a fourth leg somehow but it's still my favorite so I'll just compare it again to this one for you like this one again has three legs the front one looks like it has one and then you can see that back to oh and these I was gonna do idea why I never got around to it but these are like waterproof gloves and it actually comes with instructions on how you can do it I thought it was really cool like these would be cute to do for your child or for your child to do keep them busy you know because they're home for like Thanksgiving week they're home for like Christmas holiday so these are just great little like things that you could have your kids do to just keep the mouth of your hair you know what I mean I think this was also Dollar Tree I thought it was really cool and it I think I was supposed to put it in a stocking stuffer and I never did but it's their Rubik's Cube and it's like a color I just love it I can't believe I never put this in her stocking I'm gonna have to put it in it this year I just think these are like cute for stocking stuffers Oh last year I have not seen this specific ornament but they may have come back out with it I'm not entirely sure but it is Santa and I think they can even made like a mrs. Claus again I'm not sure on that my memory is kind of muddled but so cute and these could easily just be a door hanger remember when I just did my Dollar Tree DIY with all my door hangers love those and now I have another one so I will put this probably on my bedroom door I just love I just love the sound of like jingle bells when like a door opens I really do all right these next four things I just never had a chance to use but they are glass beads what do you call these napkin holders and I can't look at these gorgeous and I really need to use them for my setup this year but I think it was because I did more plaid and I didn't really need to end up using these but maybe I'll try to find a way to use them but yeah I've never seen these at Dollar Tree again since last year all right now let's take a look at some like planner stuff and again we're still talking about everything from last year so I have some stickers here and I actually have some from the target dollar spot as well so we can take a look at that too but here's the set from Dollar Tree and I love the words I'm gonna keep these out because I want to use these for my planner and then here's this option what that and I don't know if I've seen these come back or not here are some things from the target dollar spot I love these little tags so you can see there are dollar and then this is Dollar Tree stickers and I don't know that I've seen this print maybe but I'm obsessed with the gingerbread and look at the gingerbread hat like tree I love that love this oh you guys and I've used these reports here in my planner and then this list is also from Dollar Tree House like the Santa belt all right now let's take a look at some more boxes like this one what's in here - a million dollars no more stickers I love these stickers these are from target dollar spot and they were my favorite oh so glad I found these and these two illegal the little penguin in the globe and then it actually like has real like confetti that falls around I don't know turn a dollar spot us put these back out but I'm obsessed oh I forgot to go through all of this my bad um this is not targets that wasn't Dollar Tree I believe this is Dollar Tree you know what I need to put this on my fridge I want to put this one on there and I think this was like Michael's was a dollar fifty so it's probably their dollar 50 Ben it's glad I'm gonna keep that out and here is what looks to be Walmart I might as well just show you guys and Walmart has like really cute tags too but as you can see it was a dollar ninety seven and here are all of those little snow globes I really love these I mean I have purchased so these and I actually did a an advent calendar bag in this style and you know what I'll show you that too so here is how I did it oh I love this and it's funny because I had like I've mentioned I don't like to do like black for Christmas but I I'm loving this 100% and then I guess in here is I put this which is cute cuz it's from Dollar Tree and then I think I end up putting either like a couple of dollars or like a $5 Starbucks gift card in the bag so so yeah so then this was a Dollar Tree box and I have not seen these boxes come back out to be honest this is just some stuff that I think you guys had sent me I has anyone seen these come back to Dollar Tree because I have not I think it's absolutely precious and the inside even has the image so cute I remember when I first saw these I thought that I had struck oil so I mean I'm hoping dollar trees gonna put the sell or something similar I don't know I just haven't seen anything so those are the four boxes that I have and now it's time to go through all of 2016 Dollar Tree gift bags actually one more thing before we do look at this sign you never had a chance to use and I really love it so I think I'm gonna pull it out I'm gonna use it probably in my office cover this so I keep this though that over there oh now it's time for a Dollar Tree gift bags you know what let's start off with these because when they put these out I was just blown away and I actually made a planter cover for my planner with one of these and I think it was the Fox but anyone else like just immediately disappointed especially if you're just now jumping on a Dollar Tree bandwagon you're disappointed that you've never found these at least I have it and then they made an out I have another box another Fox I have three and then they have an owl one with the gorgeous moon look at all this oil oh she's darling and then my family Oh gorgeous so yeah I haven't seen any of these what's next let's do the cute little snowman family I have personally not seen these either but this one right here here is this one which I just hauled last night and my PJ nighttime haul and I did mention that these were last year so here's the red one and this one you know what I'm actually not a fan of this one it's just not my thing I just don't like the front of it I mean I love the words peace on earth definitely I just don't like it supposed to be like the end of a tree and I don't know it's not my favorite here's just a random read and these are actually really beautiful and I buy these from Dollar Tree all the time and you get to to a pack for this matte red that has like a paper bag look because it is like a paper bag love these these are just perfect for my personal gift dropping so on that note I'm probably gonna have to go back and get some more and I think I want to pick up some green and maybe even some blue because I do that like whole plaid and my plaid tends to have blue in it I remember when I found these with Santa I was just like I was so excited I was so happy that the Dollar Tree was providing this and and I was just like I mean they set the bar high and that's not good because now I'm just kind of like I don't know I'm waiting for a miracle of bags to happen and I haven't seen that yet so here is this Santa version he's working in his workshop and and this one he is checking his list and everything that they've included in this picture the doll the bear the milk the cookies it's also old fashioned and charming and I like it just makes me feel warm and cozy and look at this one this one he's done his work and now he's relaxing with all the toys he's made oh my goodness so beautiful I love it I mean the detail that went into this is amazing and then I have just like us little 2-pack here's another one and he is helping the Snowman out with his outfit there's pretty plain this one I loved when I saw these I was so excited just like a real print like this is well I don't know that window doesn't really look real but it looks real to me that's crazy it really isn't a real image but it does look very real I don't know maybe it is I don't know but love this one and then this one is really funny I mean there's a rooster in it but it's so like country and and farmhouse like how can you not love this just and it's tell but this whole car everything is like a little pop-up but yeah so now you can see why I'm just disappointed in 2017 s bags because I mean they set the bar so high yesterday yesterday last year I mean it's crazy I have this bag right here but I actually recently hauled this from this year but I mean it's cute and it'd be great if they just kept putting out more and more and better and better to describe but I was just very happy so you can imagine all of this all of this came out in the same year the same year and then they put out these what and I actually used these for gift wrapping like decals to Sultan's art that video at the end as well so that you can see how I utilize some of these bags for gift wrapping this whole thing it's everything to me and then I don't know if you can tell but this whole car everything is like a little pop-up but yeah so now you can see why I'm just disappointed in 2017 s bags because I mean they set the bar so high yesterday yesterday last year I mean it's crazy I have this bag right here but I actually recently hauled this from this year but I mean it's cute and it'd be great if they just kept putting out more and more and better and better and I just don't think that they have at least not yet that's pretty much it for my Christmas look back of 2016 stuff that I pulled I hope that you guys enjoyed this video Thanksgiving is tomorrow so
