Goodwood: A Paradise for Supercar Enthusiasts

As I walked through the paddocks at Goodwood, I couldn't help but feel like I was in car heaven. The atmosphere was electric, with rows upon rows of stunning supercars on display. I spotted a couple of Ferrari 40s, including one that had been tucked away in a quiet corner, and another Corvette Z06 that caught my eye. But what really stole the show was the collection of rare and exotic cars, including a LaFerrari, an 918 Spyder, and even a Noble M600 with a striking red carbon body.

As I made my way through the paddocks, I noticed that many of the cars were arranged in a deliberate configuration, almost like a showcase for the owners' favorite vehicles. There was a trio of P1s, including one that had been set up to run in race mode, complete with the roof off and a menacing sound system blaring out of the speakers. The surrounding paddocks were just as impressive, with a cobra rumbling down the track in the background and a beautiful Cobra parked nearby.

After a while, I decided to grab some lunch and take a break from the action. But even then, there was no shortage of excitement, as cars continued to flow onto the track for parade laps. The grid was lined up with a stunning selection of supercars, including an F40, a LaFerrari, and an 18 SV, all vying for attention in the bright sunlight.

As I sat down to enjoy my lunch, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this unique event that brought together car enthusiasts from far and wide. It was clear that Goodwood was more than just a track day – it was a celebration of all things supercar-related. And with cars like this on display, it's little wonder that the event has become so popular.

After lunch, I made my way back to the paddock to check out some of the other cars on display. One of the most striking vehicles was a 675 LT, which had been parked alongside another equally impressive car – a second 675 LT with its wing up in arrow mode. The contrast between the two cars was striking, and I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to drive them both.

As I finished my visit to Goodwood, I felt grateful for the opportunity to experience this incredible event. With so many amazing cars on display, it's no wonder that this is a highlight of the year for car enthusiasts. And with a range of events and activities planned for the day, there was something for everyone – whether you're a seasoned supercar enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out.

As I walked away from Goodwood, I couldn't help but feel excited about my own project car, which is currently being worked on in preparation for its reveal. With so many amazing cars to draw inspiration from, it's no wonder that I'm feeling inspired – after all, who wouldn't want a supercar like the 675 LT or an F40 in their garage? Only time will tell if I can follow in the footsteps of these incredible machines, but for now, I'm just happy to have experienced this unforgettable day at Goodwood.

part in a small little supercar convoy towards goodwood for the saywell day before we see some other pretty awesome cars there when we get down there so this is going to be an awful lot of fun we'll take a quick look around the cars here for starters then we'll get on the road and check out what's going on at the motor circuit so we're gonna be driving with some of these special cars including 991 gt3 rs we've got a lamborghini aventador sv here as well obviously we'll be on board my mclaren 675 lt nice to have that car out and here we also have a porsche 918 spider and there might be some other cars turning out to join us a little bit later on as well but let's head through um and take a look at everything see what else is joining us we've got california we've got sam seen through glass in his f-type r now wrapped in the true blood dark red first time i've seen it looks pretty good we've got the little mclaren army up at this end so i'll see tarty spider another um one at the back as well um two 650s spiders here 360 spider 430 spider that's a very bold having the roof down today so you can probably tell the weather is um not exactly uh supercar friendly but we're hoping that will burn off before too long i've got a murcielago i'll just keep coming down have a look at all the cars i'll pick out some highlights ferrari speciale of course and the red with the black stripes looking rather cool squeeze through lamborghini guido superleggera mach 1 superleggera those are pretty cool directions four five eight spider right spider over this side seb delaney and paul supercars of london are gonna be driving in serbs lotus it's over here french number plate kind of fun to have that here go through where we've basically got a sea of ferraris and generally cool stuff the yellow scooter here 430 scud it's looking pretty cool as well diablo on that side that's unusual and we seem to have a little bit of a gtr army we've got two back to back there and another one just up towards the other end ferrari f12 berlinetta oh yellow with the red stripes that's red stripes i can't even see it's black stripes for certain excuse me there that's actually a cool combination i like that a lot and a hurricane with an awesome number plate fastest can't really do better than that so a couple more cars around here but like i said we are now going to be off for a little bit of a drive we will be jumping on board the lt i'm looking forward to driving it again a lot i'm hoping the weather's going to dry out obviously it's a lot of power for slightly slippery roads but we're heading over to goodwood where uh it's the seywell international track day i'm not gonna be out on the track but we'll be taking a look at what's going on and there are some pretty nice cars down there so i'm looking forward to checking it all out let's take a look maybe some other cars arriving otherwise we'll be getting on the road so we have an f40 that's arrived also got another speciality and an aventador gtr as well it's startups time ready to head on out well that's quite noisy on the lp572 blusher over there oh yes um here we are in goodwood here we are then at the goodwood motor circuit where cars have been out on track just coming to the end of a session that light blue aventador sv obviously looking pretty special but it's nice to be back here and the sun has come out for that final part of the drive so it looks set to be a pretty awesome day there are loads of cars down there lined up and head out for uh track sessions but there's also an awful lot going on in the paddock area so let's head over and take a look at all of the cars that are around here today this seems like a pretty good place to start then peter saywell's cars in the paddock where his new blue aventador sv is just going around there i think his black 918 spider is actually just in front but we've also got the laferrari the ghani's on the 760. turbo s at the end f40 z06 hurricane and a 570s that's certainly very nice he has aog on all the cars aircraft on the ground so v12 aog if we come around squeeze through this gap here look at the number plates it's quite cool to have a completely matching set i've got run over i'm gonna f1 aog on the laferrari b1aog amazon 760. i've filmed this car many times over the years it's always been sort of updated and gone through different versions um but it looks awesome like this personally except i've mentioned this before the smiley face if you haven't seen this before the headlights the nose and the mouth now that you've seen that i know it's a smiley face you're going to see that every time on every zonda 918 is rolling out an e-mode over there but these are all the cars sort of lining up to go out onto the track so while they do that and head back through go to the paddock the day has turned into quite a supercar gathering so there are a couple of these different paddocks here at goodwood and they're basically all loaded up with nice cars so let's take a quick sort of look around and see what's going on here and i suppose where else i start we've got another f40 here so two two f40s here today um especially tucked in there actually got a second corvette z06 here as well which obviously um it's quite unusual here um in the uk those are not hugely common uh xzv6 behind fun little car oh look there's another ferrari over there head over there and have a look at that in a second and some r8 it's coyotes the yellow skirt from earlier speedster which is a very nice color i'd imagine that would be absolutely amazing to drive around the nice roads here oh actually look at this trio over by the la ferrari this is uh this is this is moderately spectacular p1 laferrari 918 all in a line okay um yeah that needs to be uh taken in p1 sat in race mode 918 with the roof off goodness me i'm gonna walk around the back here so i don't get through everyone's photos but uh i don't even know what's going on back over there but we'll worry about that later yeah that's uh that's a pretty spectacular lineup surrounded by a ton of other pretty awesome cars the second paddock depends the recipe and you can hear a cobra heading off there in the background lots of nice cars just dotted in and around all the cars of obviously people i'm just coming down for the day but that's why this is such a cool event because it's just like nice stuff everywhere and uh my car's parked up at the front over the back um and there are obviously a couple more cars out over that way so we kind of get some lunch here and see what else is going on and watch some of the cars on the track as well of course i mean just enjoy this sort of atmosphere because the weather is lovely the cars here are absolutely spectacular and uh it's a really really nice day it's kind of turned into more of a kind of a supercar event excuse me hiccup right there a supercar event um then it has a sort of older um kind of just like private track day which is really quite awesome i can't actually remember when i was around a pad at one where i'm walking back to you right now if i actually showed um the noble which is quite cool so i'm gonna come through and point my camera this when i get here so swing this around and show you the noble m600 which has a complete red carbon body which is very very nice yeah that's very cool yes time for the lunchtime parade laps all the cars are going to line up on the grid so uh and the car's all lining up being placed in order that is a pretty special little selection up there f40 la ferrari and 18 zombie sv everything else now gt3r gt3 rs 355 defensor sv oh wow cars coming back in from their parade lap just one quick run around unfortunately we didn't get to see them coming past the pits that donna though is really something special it's the cars are back from the parade then and it's been a pretty good day here at the goodwood motor circuit for say well day we're actually going to head off now before doing so i have parked my car alongside another 675 lt that has arrived here so the chicane gray car and the two looking very nice together i've actually popped the wing up because the other car had its wing up in arrow mode um which is interesting to see i don't normally leave it that way because i like it how it sort of sits um sits flush and sort of natural but when you're driving it like this um obviously you have a lot more downforce at the rear having the wing up but however on the road you can't see so much because the wing is kind of blocking your eye line straight from the inside out the rear window and into the back of the wing so that's not so ideal but it is always fun to see different cars together and think about specs i'm of course very happy with this spec and at the time you've seen this i have of course revealed i think my spec for my spider spider coming a little bit later on but it's been a good day the convoy down from southern sky motor cars was absolutely awesome really good fun driving with all the cars so i hope you've enjoyed the video that is it for today though i will catch up with you again very
