992 HP 'Black Barney' Evo Returns!-Black Barney Revisited

The Difficulties of Driving the Black Barty Evo

As I sat down to write this article, my voice was suddenly gone, and I realized that my equipment had been lost. Luckily, Christopher Ders Black Barney was there to hold the camera and help me continue with our behind-the-scenes video. We were back in his car, and he was holding the camera, ready to show everyone how difficult it is to drive the car for the first time.

The process began with neutral gear, an incredibly stiff clutch, and the brakes on. I put the key down, braced myself, and attempted to break into reverse. To my advantage, the car had a rollback feature, which might just make this easier than I thought. With a deep breath, I stepped on the clutch and pressed the accelerator at the same time. The result was exhilarating, and I felt like I was driving a real boss car. Remembering that this is a twin disc order master clutch, it's no wonder that it's ridiculously difficult for those who have never pedaled the clutch before.

As I drove around town with the 900 horsepower Fire Evo, I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and excitement. The car sounds delicious, and I had a fear that I'd bounce off the rev limiter last summer when I reviewed it. However, the tune is even better now, and it's an absolute treat to drive around. One day, while out running errands, I found myself dressed in a polo shirt, feeling like dressing up a bit, but at the same time, it seems contradictory as the car has a big up rail on the back and main parachute.

Driving this car is quite an experience because you have to rev it to about five to get it to move. This can make people stare at me, like they are staring at me right now. The reason I'm revisiting this with my hoarse voice is that Black Barty feels better than ever. I initially thought that it was one of the most streetable Evo's ever with 900 something horsepower, but now it's even more so. Once I got in the car and installed everything, it feels more solid and more powerful. However, on a cloudy day, while driving downhill at high speed, the brakes squeak every time.

The squeaking becomes apparent as I'm trying to be subtle while driving through the city. The exhaust notes being really deep are not helping because they're being amplified by the car's performance. Driving the Black Barty Evo in traffic does feel very different from what Mini Cooper would feel like it doesn't weigh that much with its powerful engine and less weight. A minivan is gone, all I can say about that is if you guys enjoyed this quick little behind-the-scenes video, thank you Kris so much again for letting me drive this car, as it's been such a great time.

The car is even better now, it just proves that sometimes a car is just never done. It has become smoother and more powerful after being fine-tuned. I'm glad to have had the chance to experience this, and I'll see you guys next time and take care, and have a great day.
