Samsung Grand Max vs Galaxy E5 Compared which is better for you

**Samsung Galaxy E5 vs Samsung Galaxy Grand Max: A Comprehensive Comparison**

When it comes to choosing between two devices from the same manufacturer, it's essential to know the strengths and weaknesses of each device. In this article, we'll be comparing the Samsung Galaxy E5 with the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max. Both devices have their unique features and specifications that set them apart from one another.

**Processors and RAM**

Both the Samsung Galaxy E5 and the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max are powered by the same processor, the Snapdragon 410 chipset, which is a quad-core processor. Additionally, both devices come with 1.5 gigs of RAM. While this may seem like a minor difference, it's essential to consider that these devices are designed for different purposes. The Galaxy E5 is geared towards everyday use, while the Grand Max is more of a mid-range device.

**Internal Storage**

One of the key differences between the two devices is their internal storage capacity. Both devices come with 16 gigs of internal storage, which may seem like a small amount, but it's sufficient for most users. However, what sets them apart is that the Galaxy E5 has a microSD card slot, allowing users to expand their storage capacity up to 128 gigs. On the other hand, the Grand Max does not have a microSD card slot, limiting its expandable storage to only 128 gigs via two SIM slots.

**Display**

The display is one of the most significant differences between the two devices. The Samsung Galaxy E5 comes with a Super AMOLED screen, which offers better brightness and color accuracy compared to the LCD screen on the Grand Max. The Galaxy E5's 5-inch screen has a resolution of 720p HD, while the Grand Max's 5.2-inch screen also has an HD display but with a lower resolution. In terms of screen quality, the Super AMOLED screen on the Galaxy E5 is noticeable better.

**Call Quality**

Both devices have excellent call quality, which is essential for anyone who uses their phone frequently. The Grand Max does not have any significant advantage over the Galaxy E5 in this department, and both devices offer clear and crisp calls.

**Battery Life**

The battery life of both devices is also comparable, with the Grand Max having a slightly larger battery capacity of 2500mAh compared to the Galaxy E5's 2400mAh. However, the difference is minimal, and both devices are capable of delivering long battery life. The Grand Max does have one advantage, however - its battery can be easily replaced.

**Storage and Camera**

Both devices come with 16 gigs of internal storage, but what sets them apart is that the Grand Max has a higher-resolution camera (13MP rear-facing camera) compared to the Galaxy E5's 8MP rear-facing camera. The front-facing cameras are also different, with the Grand Max having a 5MP shooter compared to the Galaxy E5's 5MP shooter.

**Loudspeaker Output**

The loudspeaker output is another area where the two devices differ. While both devices have decent speakers, the Galaxy E5 has louder out-of-the-box speaker quality, making it more suitable for music lovers and those who enjoy using their phone as a speakerphone.

**Conclusion**

Ultimately, the choice between the Samsung Galaxy E5 and the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max depends on your individual needs and preferences. If you prioritize screen quality and are willing to compromise on expandable storage, the Galaxy E5 may be the better device for you. However, if you prefer a removable battery and a microSD card slot, the Grand Max is the way to go. Both devices offer excellent performance and features, making them both viable options in the market.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is ranjeet and in this video we'll be comparing the samsung galaxy grand max with the samsung galaxy e5 quite a few of you have asked me to compare these devices because these are actually very similar to each other i just don't get it why samsung introduced these two different products yes there are some differences but they are actually very close to each other and now the pricing also is very close to each other you can get the galaxy e5 for around fifteen thousand five hundred whereas this grand max is uh exclusively being sold via snapdeal for 15 000 and have made some points so we'll go over them and so that you can decide which device is better for you i have already posted the full in-depth review for the galaxy e5 and i'll also be posting the full in-depth review for the grand max very soon but let's talk about the difference first if we talk about the build quality and the size i would say the build quality wise the e5 feels actually slightly better because it has a unique body design and also it's a lot sleeker compared to this grand max in comparison to this e5 it is simply a little bit bulkier again and one more thing to notice that the if sorry this grand max has a slightly larger screen size we come back to the screen a bit later next if we talk about the specifications as i told you these devices are very similar to each other so in terms of raw specs actually both are very similar they are powered by the snapdragon 410 chipset which is a quad-core processor and both of them have 1.5 gigs of ram also when it comes to internal storage uh both have 16 gigs of internal storage so when we talk about the day-to-day performance both of these devices perform very similarly to each other and i would say the biggest difference between these two things is the screen this e5 has a super amoled screen it hoses a 5 inch 720p hd screen whereas on this grand max we have a 5.2 inch screen which is a lcd screen and it is again a pretty decent screen but again if you start comparing i would definitely say that this e5 amoled screen is pretty vibrant and i've shown this device to a lot of people and most of them picked the e5 and that was due to the sleekness and the screen so definitely when it comes to screen i would say the e5 has an edge next if we move to the call quality both of these devices had very good call quality so i would say it's neutral in that excellent call quality now if we move to the battery your things change up a little bit uh the e5 as it's a unibody design the battery is seamed inside it has a 2 400 milliamp hour battery whereas on this grand max the back cover can be opened hence you can replace the battery it is a 2 500 milliamp hour battery and in terms of battery life i would say both of them are excellent in terms of battery life and they perform similarly and you'll think that this grand max will get better battery life but i would say the e5 slightly has better battery life but i would say not by a huge margin just five percent or so so in terms of battery life both these devices are actually very good now if we talk about the storage as i mentioned both have 16 gigs of internal storage uh and both of them also have a micro sd card slot but the difference is on this galaxy e5 uh though it's a what do you say dual sim device you've got to decide between the if you want the second sim that you can't insert a sd card so you got to decide between the second sim or the sd card that's again common with the a series and the e-series device but with this grand max you can insert two sim cards and then also you can insert a micro sd card so again i would say if you like to use two sims and also a micro sd card then this grand max will be better for you next let's move to the camera uh the grand max has a 13 megapixel rear facing camera and a 5 megapixel front facing camera i would say in terms of the rear facing camera it is better than the galaxy e5 the galaxy e5 has an 8 megapixel uh rear facing camera in outdoor conditions the camera performs actually pretty good but when it comes to indoor lighting and artificial lighting the rear facing camera on the e5 is not that good in that aspect the grand max 30 megapixel camera has an edge moving to the front facing camera both these devices have a 5 megapixel shooter and i thought both of them will have very similar performance but i was very surprised that the galaxy e5 front facing camera is way better compared to the grand max 5 megapixel front facing camera so i would say if the rear facing camera is more important then the grand max will be a better bet for you but if you are into a lot of selfies and use the front facing camera a lot then this galaxy e5 might be better next if we move to the loudspeaker output i would say both are okay but definitely this galaxy e5 has a louder out loud speaker so if you use the speakerphone a lot a lot then i would say the e5 has a slight edge both of these devices have dual sim but again uh if you want proper uh to use h7 with a micro sd card then this grand max moves ahead because here you got to decide between uh the second sim or the micro sd card so these are the major differences between both these devices so it's up to you to decide which is a better device for you personally speaking i would say uh i would definitely go with the e5 because i feel the screen quality on the e5 is actually very good but again i can understand a lot of people want a removable battery and a proper sd card so the grand max might be better for you but again guys in terms of performance both of them perform very similarly so again it comes down to what you want and the screen quality so i hope this video helps you in deciding which one is better for you the galaxy e5 or the samsung galaxy grand max thanks for watching this video this is ranjit and i hope to see you in my next video youhi there this is
