SUMMER LOVING BOOK TAG _Original

**Fake Itchty Bacon: A Deliciously Sweet Romance**

In this delightful novella by Jamie Wesley, we follow the story of a professional football player who opens up his own cupcake shop. The twist? He hires a worker named Jada, who's on the Bachelor, but everybody hates her now. In order to boost business, they decide to fake a relationship between themselves and Jada. As it turns out, this is not only deliciously sweet, but also takes place in a bake shop, making it a match made in heaven.

The novella is under one roof, which tells the reader exactly what to expect from this short and sweet tale. It's all about these two people who have to live together and explores the very beginning of their relationship. The story begins with the protagonist realizing that she's in love with her roommate, but takes us back in time to when they first met - a time when they hate each other. As we follow their journey, we see how she develops feelings for him. With its sugary sweet tone, this novella is sure to satisfy any reader's craving.

**Sunrises and Sunsets: A Book Tag**

For this part of the tag, we get to pick a book that features a sunrise or sunset, or if we don't have one, a book with similar colors. The host picked "Lot" by Niall McCann because it has an eerie sunset in the background where you can see the orange and pink hues. Another great example is "The Great Alone" by Kristin Hannah, which could be either dusk or dawn but has that orangy glow to it. Lastly, "Where the Crawdad Sinks" by Delia Owens features a sunrise-like sky with its oranginess. These books all have that beautiful orange hue to them, making them perfect for this tag.

The beauty of sunrises and sunsets lies in their ability to evoke feelings of wonder and awe. Whether it's summer or any other season, there's something special about these natural phenomena. For the host, the long days of summer make everything feel more vibrant and alive. They pick a book that features long days - "Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir - which comes in at 476 pages.

**Long Days: A Book Tag**

For this final part of the tag, we have to find the longest book we've read so far this year. The host didn't think they'd be able to do it, but after checking their Goodreads list, they found that "Skyward" by Brandon Sanderson comes in at 546 pages. This sci-fi novel is a surprising contender for the longest book of the year. The host didn't think they'd read anything longer than 300 pages this year, so this is quite an achievement.

**The Summer Loving Book Tag**

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello everyone my name is heather and welcome to the channel bookables today i'm going to be doing a summer tag you guys know i love seasonal tags and what's more even awesome about this it's a tag that i actually created so welcome to the summer lovin book tag so i've done a lot of summer um book tags before i've repeated them a lot and i thought the other night i was like i should just create my own i think i get overwhelmed with thinking about tag questions but honestly these were really coming easy to me and i'm sure that these tag questions have been done before so i'm not taking any originality with them at all i'm not taking like any ownership of originality with them at all so i'm sure like a lot of summer tags are like what's a book to read on the beach things like that this one's just a little bit different so that way you know people like myself that love seasonal tags have multiple options to choose from there's like i said there's many summer tags there's the summer book tag there's a summer reader book tag so those are done by amazing creators so i'll try to link those down below so make sure you check them out as well but i thought i would just try to make one um for summer myself maybe i'll make one for fall maybe i'll make one for winter i don't know because i just like doing it so yeah without further ado let's do the summer loving book tags so first up is sand and your toes a book that is perfect to read on the beach so it's summer here so when i think of books that are perfect to read on the beach i think of fast easy books like books that are summery i picked two for this one my tried and true recommendation for um summer reads is the and honeymooners by christina laura i love this one this is about two enemies to lovers that go on this vacation to hawaii and feelings progress it's really a great one and then the other one i've read recently is the roughest draft by emily whiberly and austin seymour broca this is about two best friends that are co-authors and something happened to make them fall apart but now they have one book left on their contract so they have to write together and it's obviously a lot of roman attention so both of these books are really great to take with you on the beach the lake wherever you go in the summertime to just read them quickly and you'll probably just devour them fast next up we have summer a thunderstorm because those happen a lot a book that truly spooked you you know one that's really going to scare you that you really were like oh my gosh for this one i always say home before dark by riley sager this is my favorite riley sager book it's kind of about like a haunted house and it scared me a lot i really was legitimately scared by this one another one um that scared me a little bit was hide by kirsten white i read that recently this one wasn't overly scary as much as i wanted to be i know who am i i cannot believe i said that sentence but go with me here um but it was kind of creepy because it's all about this hide and seek game that's at an abandoned amusement park and it was just creepy for some parts of it so those two are great ones if you want like a good summer thriller that is spooky and eerie and all those things have heating up because at least for i live in the summer time it gets humid as mess like sweat on sweat on sweat like oh my gosh so freaking hot this is a book that is seriously steamy and for this one honestly i picked any tessa bailey book i just picked this one up any tessa bailey book will do she writes some seriously stevie books and what i mean by steamy is there's a lot of adult times in it so be wary in case you're not into that which is fully understandable but tessa bailey writes some steamy stuff as well as helen huang her kiss quotient series in particular they're all steamy in case you want to take a book with you to the beach that you know to read when it's hot outside that's also going to make you fan yourself with the contents in the book tessa bailey and helen huang got you covered next up we have rained out because yes we have summer thunderstorms but we also have rained out and by this i mean that you know you were doing you were gonna do some great plans for the summer maybe go to the beach maybe go to a museum maybe go to like the carnival or amusement park or something and then it rains and it's rained out we all have those baseball games you know things like that just disappointment so this is a book that you read that really disappointed you so for this one i've said you know speaking of riley sager the house across the lake by riley sager i read this year was very disappointed by it also dead silence by essay barnes was very much anticipating it and was let down so those are two books that i really really wanted to love was very much anticipating and they literally got rained out for me didn't love them just how it goes next up is vacay mode because in summertime we think of vacations not me i can't tell you last time i went on a vacation don't know when i'll ever go to vacation again life with kids but this is a book that features a vacation and you don't have to look far my friends because we have emily henry and i feel like every emma emily henry book has a vacation in it people we meet on vacation not only is about vacations but it has vacations in the title of it this is about two friends that go on a vacation every year together and they haven't talked in a while and so they go to which i think malibu california for like a last-ditch vacation to hash the relationship so that's about a vacation her newest one book lovers is about a vacation two sisters travel to like a small town in maryland where they go on a vacation um there's so many books about vacations every summer actor by carly fortune another new debut novel um this is about a character named percy who her and her family go to their summer lake house every year aka their vacation so you don't have to look for my friends to find a book with a vacation in it because there's a lot out there there's probably too many but i never get sick of them we have a road trip because summer is also known for road trips prompt is about a book that features a road trip and for me the book that when i think about road trips i always think about is amy and roger's epic detour by morgan matson this is a why book that i read many many moons ago but i loved it because i think the reason why i love it so much is because morgan matson went on this road trip herself so there's actually pictures in the novel and those are her pictures there's also playlists in the novel you know for different moods they're feeling it and i just found that to be so immersive so i love it and it's always going to be my favorite morgan matson book for that reason so that's my favorite road trip book and there's so many books with road trips in him there's great i also just thought of another one it's a thriller he started it by samantha young that is a book about siblings that have to recreate a road trip for their grandfather to like get the money from them either way it's a great one that's also about a road trip and we have amusement park because summer is the time to go to amusement park where you spent profusely and wait in lines or forever long to ride a roller coaster speaking of roller coasters this whole prompt is a book that felt like a roller coaster for this this could mean multiple things where the book had really really high points for you then it had low points and i had high points it was just a mixture of emotions for you it can mean whatever you want when it comes to roller coaster for me i put it as like a book that was just like i couldn't tell what direction it was going it was up it was down all around and that is in my dreams i hold a knife but ashley winstead i had so many theories about this book i was right about something i was wrong about some sometimes i like the characters in this book then i hated them so it was truly a roller coaster of a book in my opinion because i was just i couldn't tell which way was up but i love this one it's one of my favorite mystery theaters that i've ever read and for sure this year so this one was definitely very much so like a roller coaster to me then we have ice cream a book that was deliciously sweet a book that you just devoured that you love the romance was just so cute so awesome this one i'm fake itchy bacon by jamie wesley it's all about this pro
