iOS 12.1 Update: New Emojis, Charging Issues Fixed
The latest update to iOS, version 12.1, has brought a number of exciting features and improvements to the table. One of the most notable additions is a vast array of new emojis, with over 70 new objects, people, and expressions added to the platform.
These new emojis offer users even more ways to express themselves and add some visual interest to their messages. The update also includes reorganization of older emojis, including the removal of the clam emoji, which has been placed in a new location.
In addition to the new emojis, iOS 12.1 also features several quality-of-life improvements. One of the most welcome changes is the automatic charging fix, which was previously required users to click on the display to start charging their iPhone.
This update brings the functionality that Apple had promised earlier, and it's a great relief for many users who were tired of having to manually start the charging process. The update also includes other features such as improved Siri performance, enhanced AR capabilities, and better support for Face ID.
For users with two SIM cards, iOS 12.1 brings a new level of flexibility, allowing them to switch between physical and digital SIMs seamlessly. This is particularly useful for those who need to use their iPhone in multiple environments or scenarios.
Another exciting feature in iOS 12.1 is the ability to adjust the depth of field using Portrait mode after taking a picture. This allows users to fine-tune the blur effect on their photos, making them look even more professional and polished.
The update also includes some minor tweaks to the Apple Watch, including a new feature called "Color" that adds a subtle design element to the watch face. Additionally, iOS 12.1 introduces a sound effect when toggling icons on the lock screen, which is both subtle and nice.
In terms of performance, iOS 12.1 seems to be an improvement over earlier beta versions, with users reporting faster performance and more stable results.
The update also includes several bug fixes and security patches, including the fixing of two known iOS passcode bypasses, making it even safer for users to protect their iPhone with a passcode.
In conclusion, iOS 12.1 is a welcome update that brings a range of exciting features and improvements to the platform. With its new emojis, automatic charging fix, improved performance, and enhanced security features, this update is definitely worth checking out.
As always, Apple fans will be eager to try out these new features for themselves, and we're excited to see how they'll shape up in real-world use. Whether you're an iPhone enthusiast or just someone who loves staying on top of the latest tech trends, iOS 12.1 is definitely worth keeping an eye on.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enalright Taiwo point one is here finally released guys so in this video let's go ahead and take a look at every single change that's new all these smaller ones and larger ones whether or not you should update the speed performance and everything in between so it may not seem like it but Iowa's twelve point one is a significant upgrade and there are a number of quality of life changes so the first thing that I wanted to mention is that I did get quite the amount of storage back after updating so this is before on twelve point one I had a gigabytes available now twelve point three one so did clear up a good amount of cache files and gave me four gigabytes of storage back I'm probably the funnest part of this update is the seventy plus a new emojis added to iOS 12.1 so there are a number of new objects new people new objects in general so take a look at these you guys can find the full list of new ones down below in the description so really really cool have more ways to express yourself in emoji format now and not only are there new emojis some of the older ones have been reorganized so don't let that confuse you for example the clam has been removed and placed somewhere else in the queue here so you're gonna need to get adjusted to that if you were using some of those it was only for just a few of them also a lot of the older emojis were adjusted as well so the iPhone emoji now is a representative of the actual iPhone ten emoji the bagel emoji has been adjusted to have more detail in it all around very great updates to the emojis and in case you guys did an update to iOS Hope 10.1 iowa's 12.1 does also have the charging fix enabled so previously where sometimes you'd have to click on the display for the iPhone to start charging now it does so automatically in iOS 12.1 and in collaboration with carriers the eastern functionality has finally been added at the tie was 12.1 as if you were dying to try that feature out now you can finally run two numbers at the same time on your iPhone and also a small adjustment in the settings the first SIM and second SIM portion here has been renamed to physical SIM and digital SIM and if you watch up there is now a new face as well called color here so over fifty adjustments just a flat color on the background of your Apple watch only with iowa's 12.1 and now newer iPhone users can adjust the depth of field using portrait mode after taking the picture so now you have this little slider bar here in the Edit Page and you can adjust the blur of the background so here it's obviously muddled but it's so cool you can get to do this after taking the picture and for iPhone 10 and above users there is now a sound of when toggling these icons on the lockscreen so listen closely here sounds like a little pen click very very subtle but very nice and it's both on the camera one as well there's been a lot of reference in iowa's 12.1 code to air power as well so Apple continues to work on that behind the scenes it's not a change you'll notice but once that's out you'll finally be able to use it if you're running iOS 0.1 likely and above and I was told point 1 does fix the beauty gate issue so that was because of an incorrect exposure selection on the iPhones part now that's been fixed and your face will no longer look like it's being smoothed over in every update changelog now has a new format so Apple will make it more concise and easy to understand what's new and every update with this page and let's take a look if that Safari crash has been fixed in the latest version of 12.1 and it has cool so I was told point 1 no longer crashes upon loading that malicious website link so that was fixed in just one of the later betas the very last thing is Apple has fixed not one but two iOS passcode bypasses in iOS 12.1 so you are now safe against any intrusion into your photos without the passcode alright so how exciting let's go ahead and do a speed test to get a comparison here against top 10.1 this is on an iPhone at NSM max and your results may vary and personally I have been running this beta for quite some time for me it was a little slow with the earlier betas and it still hasn't gotten that much better it seems the refinement isn't the same as 12.1 one I'm not sure what that's about but could get better with use so we'll see about that but let's see what the number is say okay that's what I call a return to form previously on iOS Hope 10.1 I was getting some low scores here in the multi score segment now let's back up to 11,000 with I was told point one so I'm happy to report getting the performance you should out of this firmware so there it is guys I was told point one crazy amount of features but a good amount of quality of life updates some very welcome ones in there go ahead and updates there's really no reason not to an Apple should be releasing future updates here to keep improving haptic touch on the iPhone a10 are as they promised and so on so thanks for watching guys hope you enjoyed it you'll definitely love iowa's 12.1 so go ahead and update now if you haven't alreadyalright Taiwo point one is here finally
