**Summer Movie Recommendations**
As the summer months approach, I find myself looking forward to watching a specific type of movie - those that evoke feelings of warmth and relaxation, often set in beachy towns or other idyllic summer settings. For me, one of my favorite shows is "Summer House," which follows the lives of a group of friends as they navigate love, careers, and life's challenges together. I also enjoy watching "Summer Time" (also known as "Princess Summer"), a show that is pretty self-explanatory - it's about summer and it takes place in a beach house.
**Creature Features**
Another type of movie that I thoroughly enjoy watching during the summer months are creature features, which typically include monster movies like shark films or movies featuring alligators or crocodiles. For me, there's nothing quite like a good shark movie to beat the heat - "Jaws" is a classic that never gets old, and more recent films like "Deep Blue Sea" have become favorites of mine. In "Deep Blue Sea," scientists try to make genetically enhanced super-intelligent mako sharks smarter, with predictable but thrilling results.
**Beach Movies**
When I'm at the beach, I don't like to venture too far out into the ocean - it's a reminder of the power and beauty of nature that I respect. However, when it comes to movies set in beachy towns or featuring beachgoers, I'm happy to indulge in some guilty pleasure entertainment. "Crawl" is one such movie that comes to mind - while not the best film by any means, it's a fun and entertaining summer thriller about alligators taking over Florida.
**Other Summer Movie Favorites**
I also enjoy watching other movies during the summer months, including "Rogue," which takes place in Australia and features alligators that are both terrifying and fascinating. "Anaconda" is another movie that I've watched on occasion - while not one of my favorites, it's a well-crafted film about deadly snakes in the Amazon jungle. However, when it comes to summer movies, there's no better series than the original "Jurassic Park." The first installment in the franchise is pure cinematic gold, with dinosaurs galore and an unforgettable theme park adventure that still holds up today.
**Dino-Mite!**
Speaking of dinosaurs, I'm a huge fan of the Jurassic Park series - it's one of my favorite movie franchises of all time. From the original to the more recent "Jurassic World" films, there's nothing quite like watching a well-crafted dinosaur adventure on the big screen. While not all of the sequels are created equal, I've always enjoyed the thrill of exploring the world of dinosaurs and learning more about these fascinating creatures.
**Other Summer Movie Watching Habits**
For me, summer movie-watching is all about having fun and indulging in some lighthearted entertainment. I often watch movies that take place in beachy settings or feature creatures like sharks, alligators, or snakes - there's just something about these types of films that feels perfect for the summer months. While I don't always have a specific theme in mind when it comes to my movie choices, I do tend to stick with what I know and love - whether it's a shark-filled thriller or a dinosaur adventure.

great summer movie that you want to watch these are amazing for that they're all set in summer all got summer on Ambiance you get it first up the most obvious one if you have not seen this I don't I don't know what you're doing the sand lot The Sandlot is a classic kids movie that can be watched by an adult any day I watch it every year it is a phenomenal movie it's set in 1962 and it's basically about this kid that moves to a new neighborhood doesn't have a lot of friends and he decides to kind of start hanging out with like the local neighborhood kids and they play baseball and they love baseball not only that there's like a dog that lives across like a fence and steals the balls and it's just an amazing movie about friendship about baseball about summer time because they go to the pool they have Fourth of July in it it's just an epitome it's just the epitome of all summer movies it is fun if you are just like I don't like older movies this one's great like you have to watch it trust me it's amazing like don't think about it just watch it next up we have my other favorite Summer Movie that I watch multiple times in the summer and that is the way way back so I stumbled across the movie a long time ago because I'm a very much person that if you're in one of my favorite shows I will check out movies you've done Steve Carell is in this in fact this movie has a slew of amazing people in it Tony Collette um Steve Carell Sam Rockwell Maya Rudolph a bunch of other people I can't think of their names there's just one character that's the neighbor she's amazing I love her I can't remember her name but either way it's chock full of amazing people so we follow this character we follow this young teenager and he his mom Tony Collette has just started dating Steve Carell who is a huge jerk in this movie and he takes them to their beat to his beach house that they go to every single summer it's like kind of on a lake it's kind of near the beach you get him saying and he's very much a teenager that doesn't have a lot of friends doesn't know where he's going in life and he stumbles across this local water park that everyone goes to like think of like just your typical water park with lots of water slides wave pools and stuff like that and there he means the owner of the whole place who's Sam Rockwell's character and he starts working there and it's kind of his summer of blossoming into himself we also you know discover more about his mom's Tony Collette and Steve Carell's not the greatest relationship and how maybe he should open his eye and how maybe she should open her eyes to him being the worst guy ever and it's just such a heartwarming coming-of-age Summer Movie that I love soundtrack amazing casting great story great phenomenal not a lot of people talk about this one but it is like seriously one of my favorite movies of all time like check it out then we have a book to movie adaptation that is The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants I read these long before I started booktube I love this series it will always have a piece of my heart because I just love it always connected with Lena but they made it to movies and the movies aren't that bad I'm actually kind of waiting for them to do Sisterhood Everlasting when they're all grown up because they're the perfect age for that but give it to us but since we're in the Traveling Pants I'm sure you've heard about it it's about four best friends that are being separated for the summer they all try on this magical pair of jeans that somehow fits them all perfectly and they you just get to see each other's numbers one's like a very artsy girl one's a very athletic girl one is kind of a rebellious girl and the other one is like into the Arts and drama and you get to see their kind of Summers and how their friendship and their family and it's just a great movie I really do like the first one the second one is more summery because they go to Greece but either way it's just them being in the summer you get to see each other Journeys I would recommend the books more than the movie but as far as movie adaptations go let's just say I've seen then we have another kind of one that I don't hear a lot of people talk about Adventureland this one is set in ninth in the 1980s I believe and we follow Jesse Eisenberg and graduated from high school or college I forget which one and he's back Limitless parents and he gets a job at this kind of really not the best theme park and he just is there and then he meets a girl that is played by Kristen Stewart there Falls immediately head over heels with her you know with her whole if you know Kristen Stewart you know and it's just about them having their summer there working at this really crappy amusement park earlier but it's fun it's a great 80s time they play Amadeus constantly which is just hilarious but I enjoyed it it's fun it's not like one of my favorites but it's like a good feel good type of movie um it has some it has Ryan Reynolds in it too and it has I don't even know who else but either way it's a fun one I'll say that then if you want just a really really summery one Blue Crush has you covered Blue Crush Stars Kate Boswell as she is a surfer girl living in Hawaii it also has um I forget the girl the girl's name from Fast and Furious and her and her friends you know Kate Boswell used to be a professional I'm saying Kate Boswell is their character they're all Maids at this hotel they're also trying to enter the surf competition and it's basically about that she kind of Falls for this professional football player who's there for the summer and it's not the best but if you want like a summer beachy movie set in Hawaii about surfing this one has you covered I will say that like the cinematography is pretty amazing So speaking of Blue Cross there's a new show on Amazon called surf girls Hawaii this is actually a four-part documentary series about five teenagers young women that live in Hawaii and it's all about their surfing um careers kind of their start of them and I watched it recently and I really enjoyed it if you're a fan of Blue Crush and want some like um show about originality with Hawaiian Surfers it teaches you a lot about the Hawaiian culture all these girls grew up with each other they're trying to be the best Surfers they can and compete it was a phenomenal show that I hope maybe they'll continue on in the future so it shed the light on Hawaiian culture surfing and just kind of the family surrounding it and things like that I loved it would highly recommend it then we have one that I love that I don't watch too often because it does make me cry and that is now and then this one oh it's about a group of friends that it's set in two time periods one is in the 1970s and the other one is in 2001 and we have a schlew again of amazing characters like a Melanie Griffin um Rosie O'Donnell I forget the other people's names but basically it's about their group of friends and their summer of 1970 and then we Flash Forward to them in 2001 getting back together because one of them is having a baby and it's just about this group of friends how they go through things and they're there for each other in the roughest of times and it is a beautiful heartfelt friendship Summer Movie that I love shows I have one show I have summertime pretty I mean I feel like that's self-explanatory it's a great summer series because the second season just dropped the first three episodes I'm enjoying it so far it's set and cousin it's set on a beach house so I mean could you want it's a great show the first season is really good I think it's a pretty good book to show adaptation I will say so I really like it so those are most of them now I do have my creature features by that I mean like kind of monsters like shark movies like those are perfect for summer right I watch the message summertime no other time of year am I really compelled to watch them but summertime because I mean shark movies alligator movies monster movies like I am here for it of course Jaws the classic Jaws you don't need to hear me say this but my other favorite deep blue sea I freaking love deep I've been watching the sequels but I love deep blue sea that's when a whole bunch of scientists in the middle of like the freaking ocean are deciding to inject um things into the shark that makes them smarter and you know surprise surprise the Sharks when they get smarter they're gonna kill everybody so it's an interesting shark tactic time and I can watch these movies because let me tell you when I go to the beach I don't go far out because that's that's all the oceans domain like I respect that's their home I'm not there to mess it up you know just saying um so I also love that one recently I watched the Meg doesn't make any sense at all no but I go into these movies with just the expectation of having a good time and the mag delivered on that is the trailer for the second one even crazier than the first yes will I watch it absolutely and hopefully I'll have a good time like Jason Statham like literally fighting a shark I'm there for it so I don't know so crawl which I watched a few years ago that's like when I feel so weird recommending these because it's just like they're not the best lilies but they're summer movies so you know check them out basically what I remember about this one is I forget where it's set at Florida maybe probably because like alligators and crocodiles and stuff like everything floods and so the crocodiles are like hell yeah and so they just they go off killing people we follow a girl that's trying to get her dad out of the house and it is interesting like is it like unrealistic and scary as mess yes but it was a good time also um Rogue that's another one it's very scary they're actually in the alligators domain that's set in Australia I believe super creepy also Anaconda I don't watch that one a lot because snakes really really frighten me and that's very much more realistic for me than crocodiles and alligators so but the last one I will say that I always watch every single year is the Jurassic Park series I love it it's a great summer series the favorite of all favorites is the first Jurassic Park like nothing will touch when the Teamworks nothing will touch when the T-Rex first gets introduced as well as the Velociraptors like it is freaking cinematic gold I I it's just amazing like Dino DNA I love the Jurassic Park series it's awesome the Lost World's pretty good too I did not like the third one as much and I did like the first of the Jurassic world the last two not the best but if you just want a good dinosaur time highly recommend the Jurassic Park series I'm sure you don't need to hear me say this but they're just classic movies that I like just watching those type of Moves In Summer if I'm the only one that likes that let me know but I just do so I don't know either way I would love to know what movies you watch in the summer are you like me I'm like watching a lot of movies set like in beachy towns and things like that while also watching about crazy sharks and stuff I don't watch a lot of like where they have to go underwater date because I don't like I said I don't do that I respect the ocean because it is a scary place so I don't know I don't do that like 47 meters down there's the shallows like oh there's a lot a lot that are scary so I don't know I would love to know what movies you watch again like I said in summer please let me know hopefully you
