the backup software called time machine on my Mac apart from that I also uh every other month clone the entire hard drive uh so that if anything happens I can just swap the drive and get back to work I'm a little bit paranoid about my backups because I have a nasty experience about 5 years a ago uh when I was very lazy and I never used to do backup I lost quite a few of things because of my laziness so I'm a little bit more paranoid and I do multiple backups these days I I would also say that it's a very good idea to do a backup on a portable hard drive like this and store this uh hard for all the popular platforms like mac windows and even Linux and even Solaris and the thing about crash plan is that uh it is like a two-way backup one is that it backs up your data on the cloud uh
