**Apple Watch Series 7 Review: A Major Upgrade**

I'm going to go ahead and give you my review of the Apple Watch Series 7, and I've gotta say, it's pretty good, pretty accurate. One thing I love about this watch is its utility apps. You get all your standard stopwatch timers, calculators, and news at your fingertips. The Apple News app on deck shows you all your latest news stories, and the Activity app tracks everything you do throughout the day. And let me tell you, it's a game-changer.

I also love the notifications feature. All of your recent notifications are displayed on the watch, so you can scroll through them easily. But what I think is really cool is that you can control all your music right from your watch without having to touch your phone. This is especially useful for me, as I always wear my Apple Watch to the gym and want to be able to change my music or adjust the volume without pulling out my phone.

To demonstrate this feature, I'm going to go into the Music app and hit play on a song. As you can see, I'm able to raise the volume, skip to the next track, pause it, or drop the volume back down all from the watch. And, of course, you get to see the album art, which is always a nice touch.

One feature that's not enabled by default is Fall Detection. You'll need to go into Settings and turn it on. I tried simulating a fall earlier, but it didn't work because I was just faking it. However, I did experience Fall Detection in real life when I accidentally fell down the stairs while carrying boxes. The watch started vibrating, making an audible tone, and even asked me if I had fallen down. It was pretty cool to see it in action.

Overall, I'd give the Apple Watch Series 7 a solid 10 out of 10. If you have the Series 6, it's not going to feel like a huge upgrade, but it's still worth getting for all the improvements and new features. The bigger screen, brighter always-on display, faster battery charging, and more durable construction make this watch a winner.

case is made from three different materials you got titanium stainless steel or aluminium now this is the aluminium version it's the cheapest one peasants unite now the aluminium one comes in five different colors you got green blue red starlight and midnight for the display you got a 1.9 inch retina oled panel with a resolution of 484 by 396 that has 326 for the ppi patrol now in the series 7 you're getting 20 percent more screen than the series 6. the crystal glass is 50 stronger than the series 6 and always on display is 70 brighter indoors than the series 6. now the series 7 is ip6s dust resistant and it's swim proof so it's water resistant up to 50 meters now you got the apple s7 chipset with 32 gigs of storage the battery life is rated at 18 hours and it charges from 0 to 80 percent and 45 minutes now that's 33 faster than the siri six so it's a lot of upgrades now you got your blood oxygen app your ecg app you got high and low heart rate notifications you got a speaker you got your siri voice assistant gps and my favorite new feature you got a qwerty keyboard for swipe texting all right so all of that starting at 400 bucks let's see what it is first things first beat this open rock okay here we go so we got usb type c to your magnetic wireless charger and that's pretty much it now it did come with this band also so let's go ahead and check this one out i'll show you a few accessories to in a minute let's see how this band looks now this is actually a product red band okay here we go okay check this one out now i love these bands right here with a little velcro okay so we're just gonna slap one side on let's see if i could do this right on the first try probably not but you know this is just for demonstration purposes and of course i put it on upside down but this is what it looks like now i'm gonna go ahead and fix this up and set everything up in a minute but as you can see uh i'm gonna try to see what it's gonna look like okay two-tone band all right so let me pause the video i'll set up the watch then we'll breeze through the os talk amongst yourselves now i'm syncing up the apple watch so i got a few minutes let me show you some accessories first up we got the spigen dual wireless charger now this one is going to run you 22 bucks you're gonna have to buy your own magsafe charger now you can buy the apple version or the speaking version which is a lot cheaper you're gonna use the charger that came with your watch put it on one side put the magsafe charger on the other side and you could charge your watch and your phone at the same time now here's how it looks on the bottom just run the wires you can peel these stickers off if you want and lock it into your desk but i take this with me when i travel so i left them on let me show you how it works so you're gonna grab an apple watch slap it on that starts charging right up grab your iphone drop it on the magsafe charger just like that charge your watch and your phone at the same time and it looks nice and clean on your desktop and the side note if you got the red iphone 13 and the red apple watch this is a dope color combination let's keep it moving next up we got a few bands so i bought the product red band now one thing that i do love about the apple watches all of the watch bands fit all of the watch series so if you got bands from your series 6 or your series 5 you can swap them right over to your series 7. so this is the product red band we got a blue band okay the velcro ones now one more thing i wanted to mention i left this one on purpose this is the watch that i wear to the gym if you buy the cloth bands and you wear them all the time they will get dirty okay now usually i don't like showing dirty stuff in the video but i want to try to see how it's going to look after some actual wear and tear so my advice if you're going to wear this cloth band to the gym get another band like this a leather band or rubber band this way when you're going out your watch will look nice and fresh okay now we got another band this is the gucci band now this is a real gucci band if you like this maybe you want to get a louis vuitton or goyard or you know whatever mcm go to customized depot on instagram i'll leave a link for them up in the description these bands are a little bit pricey but basically what he's doing is taking a real gucci bag and customizing it into an apple watch band so it's going to be extremely high quality and it looks dope and like i said all these bands are interchangeable now we got one more band this is from pataka okay the carbon fiber y'all know how i feel about carbon fiber we got the carbon fiber band now i know what you're saying say you got a red watch or blue watch and you put the carbon fiber band on you want the full carbon fiber look you can also buy these from pataka the carbon fiber apple watch case okay now one thing that i just noticed the series 7 and the series 6 is the same exact size even though you're getting more screen check this out this is from the series 6. the carbon fiber goes right on top of it so this way now if i put on the blue band you don't see any red so this is a nice way if you buy the green apple watch or maybe buy a different color and sometimes you don't want to rock that color you want to go all black buy the carbon fiber watch case change the color of your watch but this looks so sick with the carbon fiber watch band now i'm not going to install it i just want y'all to get a quick idea of how it's going to look this is pretty dope all right so these are a few bands that i got and that's why i'm pretty much it for the accessories now it looks like the update is complete let's get back to the video all right josh so we back in first let's do a little size comparison here's the series seven here's the series six and if you notice you're getting twenty percent more screen so it looks bigger even though it's exactly the same size if you look at your apps menu you can see more let's go through the buttons real quick now you got your digital crown and your multifunctional button hit the digital crown once there's all your apps you can zoom in or zoom out or you can use your finger to navigate the apps if you press and hold what time is it it's 12 48 pm that's your siri now for this multifunctional button you press it once this will bring up all your different recently used apps and if you press it twice it brings up your wallet now if you're pressing and hold there's your power menu so you got your power off your medical id and your sos emergency and if you press both together that'll be your screenshot okay so let's see how it looks on the wrist now this is actually my first time putting it on bong just like that alright so now let's go through the basic os now from your home screen if you swipe up this is going to be your quick toggles so you got yourself your service you got wi-fi you got ping now i use ping all the time if you can't find your phone hit ping and then alert your phone you got your battery percentage you got your notifications okay so this way if you had work shooting a youtube video turn your notifications off you got theater mode if you go to the movies turn on theta mode this way every time you get a notification it won't light up your watch and interfere with the movie for everybody else you got your walkie-talkie you got do not disturb you can turn it on turn it on for one hour or like right now you see i'm getting notifications i'm gonna turn it on until this evening okay do not disturb you got your flashlight you got airplane mode that little water drop this way if your phone gets wet you hit that little water drop use the digital crown it'll make a sound and push the water out of your speakers got your airplay headphones volume and you got school mode now if you want to you can edit so i'm not in school so i'll get rid of school mode and keep it moving just like that alright that's your quick toggles now if you swipe down it's going to be all your notifications okay swipe to the left you can change your different watch faces same thing if you swipe to the right now you can also hold down and swipe your different watch faces now i got a bunch on here i'll show you a few this is one of my favorites now let's take it over to the app real quick check this out now you can go to settings right from the watch change everything up or you can do it from the app now here's all the watch faces that i got pre-installed to the watch so this way i could just swipe over and just change my watch faces just like that or if i want to i can change them right from the phone okay so you got notifications now i'm not going to go through all of these you can change your app view so if you don't like them having them bubbled up like that you can put them on list view and then this way when you hit it it'd be a list of apps just like that i like the grid view a little bit better okay so you got your doc you can show your recents or your favorites here's all your general settings okay so you got your watch orientation if you were watching your left hand or your right hand you can switch it up all of the different settings to play with let's go to watch faces now you got new watch faces you got activity you got artists you got astronomy you got breathe you got california you had chronograph chronograph pro you got color contour you got count up now say i like count up i can customize it from right here let's see um we'll change it to a red one since we rock into red we hit add and now i can change it right from the phone again i'll change it right from the app let's see you got explorer you got fire and water you got gmt you got gradient infograph infograph modula all of these choices you got kaleidoscope liquid metal let's add a liquid metal watch okay let's see how that looks there's the liquid metal oh that's pretty sick that's pretty sick you got your memojis you got meridian let's add a meridian also see how fast that is just like that let's see you got modular modular compact modular duo got motion numerals and world duos numeral models you can have photos right from your phone portraits you got pride you got simple siri solar you got stripes time lapse toy story typograph you got unity utility vapor all right let's do a vapor watch add that on there let's see how that looks okay there's a vapor that's kind of sick and you got extra large all right so out of all of these i think i like the let's go let's do another gmt let's do a nice black and red bang just like that now one thing i wanted to show y'all if y'all just noticed they're always on display now apple claims that it's way brighter and it really is watch this these are always on display now look at that much brighter all right so now look at i had to i had to keep flicking my wrist behind the camera because i thought this was the phone i thought the watch was just on this is always on display then you flick the wrist look how bright that aod is i like that now watch this if you want to do siri without touching any buttons what's the weather for tomorrow it doesn't look so nice tomorrow down to 59 degrees that's pretty dope too all right now let me show you some of the features that i use the most now here's one of the features that i use the most text messaging you can send and receive text messages right from your wrist so if you're driving your car or you're having a fancy dinner or you're at work you don't got to pull your phone out to get your messages all right so i'm going to send over a test and this is how it's going to look bong just like that i got a message let's go ahead and read it call me later now i can reply now you got a full-size qwerty keyboard let's try to swipe texan what's up okay that was nice and easy and you hit send just like that now you can do voice text you can do emojis or you can scribble with your fingers that's pretty dope okay speaking of text messaging let me show you one more thing now from messages let's find the actual message okay watch this now if i want to i can send an emoji i got one of mine's already made okay buying can send it just like that and i can also do voice i'm gonna hit you back in a minute hit send just like that this is pretty sick now here's another feature that i use a lot it's called camera you can use your watch to take pictures from your phone's camera without touching the phone so watch this now i'm not touching the phone at all i got it set up like this so say i was on a date and i wanted to get a nice little selfie me and my date or if i'm in the house and i want to set the phone up and be on some scumbag this is how you do it you're going to go to your watch you're going to open up the camera app it automatically opens up on the phone and i can take pictures just like that how sick is that same thing if i'm on a date i can switch to the front-facing camera put my arm down and get some nice selfies together this is a dope feature you can also view the pictures right from your watch this is another feature that i use a lot phone calls you can make and receive calls directly from your watch so if you're driving around you don't got to pull your phone out of your pocket all you got to do go right to the phone app let's call up the uh 24-hour diner and see what time they close bomb just like that you do have a speakerphone yeah hi what time you guys close tonight we don't close with 24 7 okay 24 7. thanks a lot bong just like that that's pretty dope now another one of my favorite features is maps you can get gps turn by turn navigation right on your watch so this way when you're driving around you don't got to look at your phone screen you don't got to look at your car screen you get the turn by turn navigation right from the watch here's how it works let's go to maps let's search a place let's do uh best buy we'll find the nearest best buy okay we'll do driving gonna load up the gps turn by turn directions okay bong just like that know when you're driving it's southwest on 105th avenue this is pretty dope this way when you're driving okay look at this i'm getting a phone call watch this yo hello hi girlie bro what you know i like to call you during my videos man i i hate calling anybody else my bad that's i'm saying i i know and you did this it could have been an emergency that's how long it takes you to call me back i could have been kidnapped by now i'm in college people go to one college you go to one college and you know how to act all right i'm going to call you right back all right all right i know i was blowing him by his phone up anyway like i was saying when you're driving when you get to that corner it's going to keep giving you each turn by turn direction this is pretty dope all right like i said you don't got to have your phone on a mount you don't got to let's uh swipe down and here's all my recent notifications now this is probably my most used feature music being able to control all your music right from your watch without touching your phone now i always wear my apple watch to the gym so if i got on headphones i want to change my music without pulling my phone out of my pocket same thing if i pair up my phone to a bluetooth speaker and i want to change the music or raise or lower the volume right from the watch so watch this we're going to go to the music app let's hit play on the music you see us playing now i'm going to raise the volume just like that i can skip to the next zone i can pause it i can skip to the next song or drop the volume back down this is the feature that i use the most i like i said i'm always in the gym i love working out and not having to touch my earbuds or touch my headphones skip songs just like that right from the watch and you do actually get the album art let's pull up a different song that has some uh real album art let's take it over to lotto all right some big energy let's let this pop up real quick now watch this i just want to show y'all the actual album art all right here it is full album art we got drake we got kanye west we got dave east i love having the album art right on your watch all right so one last thing i wanted to mention fall detection now fall detection is not on by default you're gonna have to go to settings and turn it on it does work now i tried to simulate a fall just now so i can show y'all but it doesn't work with the fake falls okay but it does work in real life because a couple of months ago i was carrying some boxes down the stairs i missed that last step and i fell down a little bit and i kept feeling my watch vibrating like crazy then it started making an audible tone and i realized it was getting ready to call my sos numbers and it was asking me did i fall down so it does work and i remember i was laughing pretty hard saying wow fall that anyway let's wrap this up all right so overall on a scale of 1 to 10 i'm giving apple watch series 7 a major major major go if you got the series 6 it's not going to feel like the biggest upgrade in the world but it's still an upgrade you're going to like having more screen you're going to like the brighter always on display you're going to like the faster battery charging the watch is more i'm not going to go through all of these you can change your app view so if you don't like them having them bubbled up like that you can put them on list view and then this way when you hit it it'd be a list of apps just like that i like the grid view a little bit better okay so you got your doc you can show your recents or your favorites here's all your general settings okay so you got your watch orientation if you were watching your left hand or your right hand you can switch it up all of the different settings to play with let's go to watch faces now you got new watch faces you got activity you got artists you got astronomy you got breathe you got california you had chronograph chronograph pro you got color contour you got count up now say i like count up i can customize it from right here let's see um we'll change it to a red one since we rock into red we hit add and now i can change it right from the phone again i'll change it right from the app let's see you got explorer you got fire and water you got gmt you got gradient infograph infograph modula all of these choices you got kaleidoscope liquid metal let's add a liquid metal watch okay let's see how that looks there's the liquid metal oh that's pretty sick that's pretty sick you got your memojis you got meridian let's add a meridian also see how fast that is just like that let's see you got modular modular compact modular duo got motion numerals and world duos numeral models you can have photos right from your phone portraits you got pride you got simple siri solar you got stripes time lapse toy story typograph you got unity utility vapor all right let's do a vapor watch add that on there let's see how that looks okay there's a vapor that's kind of sick and you got extra large all right so out of all of these i think i like the let's go let's do another gmt let's do a nice black and red bang just like that now one thing i wanted to show y'all if y'all just noticed they're always on display now apple claims that it's way brighter and it really is watch this these are always on display now look at that much brighter all right so now look at i had to i had to keep flicking my wrist behind the camera because i thought this was the phone i thought the watch was just on this is always on display then you flick the wrist look how bright that aod is i like that now watch this if you want to do siri without touching any buttons what's the weather for tomorrow it doesn't look so nice tomorrow down to 59 degrees that's pretty dope too all right now let me show you some of the features that i use the most now here's one of the features that i use the most text messaging you can send and receive text messages right from your wrist so if you're driving your car or you're having a fancy dinner or you're at work you don't got to pull your phone out to get your messages all right so i'm going to send over a test and this is how it's going to look bong just like that i got a message let's go ahead and read it call me later now i can reply now you got a full-size qwerty keyboard let's try to swipe texan what's up okay that was nice and easy and you hit send just like that now you can do voice text you can do emojis or you can scribble with your fingers that's pretty dope okay speaking of text messaging let me show you one more thing now from messages let's find the actual message okay watch this now if i want to i can send an emoji i got one of mine's already made okay buying can send it just like that and i can also do voice i'm gonna hit you back in a minute hit send just like that this is pretty sick now here's another feature that i use a lot it's called camera you can use your watch to take pictures from your phone's camera without touching the phone so watch this now i'm not touching the phone at all i got it set up like this so say i was on a date and i wanted to get a nice little selfie me and my date or if i'm in the house and i want to set the phone up and be on some scumbag this is how you do it you're going to go to your watch you're going to open up the camera app it automatically opens up on the phone and i can take pictures just like that how sick is that same thing if i'm on a date i can switch to the front-facing camera put my arm down and get some nice selfies together this is a dope feature you can also view the pictures right from your watch this is another feature that i use a lot phone calls you can make and receive calls directly from your watch so if you're driving around you don't got to pull your phone out of your pocket all you got to do go right to the phone app let's call up the uh 24-hour diner and see what time they close bomb just like that you do have a speakerphone yeah hi what time you guys close tonight we don't close with 24 7 okay 24 7. thanks a lot bong just like that that's pretty dope now another one of my favorite features is maps you can get gps turn by turn navigation right on your watch so this way when you're driving around you don't got to look at your phone screen you don't got to look at your car screen you get the turn by turn navigation right from the watch here's how it works let's go to maps let's search a place let's do uh best buy we'll find the nearest best buy okay we'll do driving gonna load up the gps turn by turn directions okay bong just like that know when you're driving it's southwest on 105th avenue this is pretty dope this way when you're driving okay look at this i'm getting a phone call watch this yo hello hi girlie bro what you know i like to call you during my videos man i i hate calling anybody else my bad that's i'm saying i i know and you did this it could have been an emergency that's how long it takes you to call me back i could have been kidnapped by now i'm in college people go to one college you go to one college and you know how to act all right i'm going to call you right back all right all right i know i was blowing him by his phone up anyway like i was saying when you're driving when you get to that corner it's going to keep giving you each turn by turn direction this is pretty dope all right like i said you don't got to have your phone on a mount you don't got to keep looking away and you're going to get a little vibration when you get to that corner and it'll tell you to turn right or turn left maps is a dope feature you're gonna love it now you do have all your health apps all right so you can take your blood pressure okay 85 beats per minute pretty healthy right now all right well right now current 100 because i'm back here shooting a live video but my usual rate is around 85 per minute all right it was 88 a little while ago apple trying to make me look fat right now i chill it's really 85 do i let's exit out of that y'all too much all right now you can also do your ecg's okay now i'm not gonna make y'all wait the whole 30 seconds but it's pretty good pretty accurate now you also have a bunch of utility apps so you got all your standard stopwatch timers you got uh calculators you could check out the news all right so you got your apple news on deck right from your watch now this is my first time using it bond there it is okay all your latest news stories got all your activities y'all seen all this stuff already before you got your breathe app and that's pretty much it that's how your notifications come in i love that though all right so let's uh swipe down and here's all my recent notifications now this is probably my most used feature music being able to control all your music right from your watch without touching your phone now i always wear my apple watch to the gym so if i got on headphones i want to change my music without pulling my phone out of my pocket same thing if i pair up my phone to a bluetooth speaker and i want to change the music or raise or lower the volume right from the watch so watch this we're going to go to the music app let's hit play on the music you see us playing now i'm going to raise the volume just like that i can skip to the next zone i can pause it i can skip to the next song or drop the volume back down this is the feature that i use the most i like i said i'm always in the gym i love working out and not having to touch my earbuds or touch my headphones skip songs just like that right from the watch and you do actually get the album art let's pull up a different song that has some uh real album art let's take it over to lotto all right some big energy let's let this pop up real quick now watch this i just want to show y'all the actual album art all right here it is full album art we got drake we got kanye west we got dave east i love having the album art right on your watch all right so one last thing i wanted to mention fall detection now fall detection is not on by default you're gonna have to go to settings and turn it on it does work now i tried to simulate a fall just now so i can show y'all but it doesn't work with the fake falls okay but it does work in real life because a couple of months ago i was carrying some boxes down the stairs i missed that last step and i fell down a little bit and i kept feeling my watch vibrating like crazy then it started making an audible tone and i realized it was getting ready to call my sos numbers and it was asking me did i fall down so it does work and i remember i was laughing pretty hard saying wow fall detection really does work just now i tried to do a fake fall i wanted to show you what it looks like but i couldn't get it to turn on and i already hurt my elbow a little bit so that's a wrap for that anyway let's wrap this up all right so overall on a scale of 1 to 10 i'm giving apple watch series 7 a major major major go if you got the series 6 it's not going to feel like the biggest upgrade in the world but it's still an upgrade you're going to like having more screen you're going to like the brighter always on display you're going to like the
