Audi Q2 vs MINI Countryman vs Volvo V40 XC - which is the best small SUV _ Head2Head

**The Ultimate Test: Car Scaling Sleep Hill**

In this unique test, we put three cars to the challenge of scaling sleep hill. The goal is to see which car can make it up the hill with ease, and more importantly, understand their strengths and weaknesses on the road.

We started with a Volvo T5 petrol, the range-topping car with all-wheel drive. This car has the least ground clearance, making it difficult to navigate the ramp. We had to get it pulled upwards, then try and go up it. Despite our best efforts, we only managed to get halfway up before sliding back down.

The next car in line was the Volvo D4 diesel. It had more ground clearance than the T5 petrol, but still struggled to make progress on the ramp. We decided to give it a run-up to help us along, but unfortunately, it lost traction at the very top and we couldn't get it to climb further.

Finally, we arrived at the Mini Cooper S with all-wheel drive. This car had more ground clearance than both of its competitors, and we were confident that its advanced technology would give us an edge on the ramp. We crawled up slowly and deliberately, taking care not to lose traction. And, to our delight, we made it to the top without any issues.

**Handling and Performance**

Once we got past the scaling of sleep hill, we put each car through its paces on the road. The first thing you notice about the Mini Cooper S is that it feels sporty - just as you'd expect from a car with the name "Cooper" attached to it. However, some people may find the suspension too firm, and the steering can be a bit lively for those who are not used to it.

In contrast, the Volvo T5 petrol was more comfortable and relaxing to drive, but lacked the sporty feel of the Mini Cooper S. The engine in this car is strong, but also makes a lot of noise, which may be a drawback for some drivers.

The Audi Q2, on the other hand, struck the perfect balance between comfort and sportiness. It was easy to handle, and the steering felt precise and responsive. However, it did lack a bit of character compared to the Mini Cooper S.

**Economy and Fuel Efficiency**

In terms of fuel economy, all three cars performed well. The Volvo D4 diesel averaged 43 miles per gallon, while the Audi Q2's 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine returned an impressive 38 miles per gallon. The Mini Cooper S, unfortunately, lagged behind with just 31 miles per gallon.

**Conclusion**

So, which car came out on top in our ultimate test? The answer is clear: the Audi Q2 wins hands down. With its perfect balance of comfort and sportiness, it's a joy to drive and offers excellent fuel efficiency to boot. While the Volvo T5 petrol was stylish and good value for money, its firm ride and questionable looks made it less desirable. And as for the Mini Cooper S, while it's certainly fun to drive, its poor suspension and noisy engine make it less practical than we'd like.

In the end, the Audi Q2 is a well-rounded car that excels in every aspect of driving. It may not be perfect, but it's certainly one of the best cars in its class.
