**Xiaomi 14 Pro: A Powerhouse of Performance and Features**
The Xiaomi 14 Pro is a flagship device that boasts impressive performance, features, and capabilities. With its powerful processor, advanced storage options, and high-speed charging capabilities, this phone is designed to deliver exceptional user experience.
One of the standout features of the Xiaomi 14 Pro is its processor, which uses a new generation chip that improves the performance of extended RAM. This feature allows users to extend their RAM by up to 8 GB on the lower variance and up to 16 GB on the higher variance, making it a faster exchange between storage and RAM. The processor also manages thermals well, taking only what it requires in terms of performance to prevent overheating.
In addition to its powerful processor, the Xiaomi 14 Pro also features fast data transfer capabilities. With Bluetooth 5.4 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, users can enjoy rapid file transfers, making it an excellent choice for capturing high-quality video and photos on this device. The phone's battery life is also impressive, with a large 4880 mAh capacity and support for fast charging, including a 120W charger included in the box.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro also features advanced display technology, including a great touch screen experience. The phone's performance extends to day-to-day tasks and benchmark scores reflect this performance. When it comes to gaming, the device delivers reduced latency and improved overall performance with virtually no lag, making it an excellent choice for gamers.
Another notable feature of the Xiaomi 14 Pro is its audio capabilities. The phone features great microphones that capture high-quality audio during video recording and phone calls. Additionally, the built-in speakers are impressive, capable of producing a large print volume and up to 300° of extrusion, making them suitable for various applications.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro also has dual SIM card slots or can be used with an eSIM along with a physical Sim, allowing users to enjoy dual 5G networks simultaneously. The phone's design is impressive, with a sleek and durable build that promises long-term reliability.
One of the coolest features of the Xiaomi 14 Pro is its new Xiaomi Hyper OS, a faster and more efficient version of Xiaomi's MIUI. This operating system is designed to improve stability, manage RAM efficiently, and dump out unnecessary resources. It is also tailored to take advantage of newer generation hardware, ensuring optimal performance management.
However, there are some limitations to consider. The device is currently available primarily in China and may not be optimized for global markets, which means it may come with more bloatware and unnecessary apps. As the phone launches globally, it's essential to test its performance with a clean operating system and remove any unwanted features.
Overall, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is an excellent choice for those seeking a powerful and feature-rich device. With its advanced processor, fast data transfer capabilities, and impressive audio features, this phone is well-suited for various applications, including gaming and video recording.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enone of the coolest things that xiaomi has done over the years is their partnership with Leica while they've continued this tradition in their Flagship phones it will carry on into the next year in the xiaomi 14 pro and that's the device that we checking out today now the xiaomi 14 pro is going to be next year's Flagship but just as we saw with the 13 Pro not only does this device look premium but it also has some interesting features that are worth mentioning as we check out this device in our first impressions video so let's quickly get started now price-wise this phone is going to be globally available for around €650 that puts it at around 60,000 rupees and we expected to launch in that price range in India as well although there is a non-pro variant which should be more popular in our markets but the pro phone definitely has some advantages that I really want to go over if we talk about build quality there are going to be two materials an aluminium version and a titanium version we're checking out the titanium version and it has its pros and cons it is supposed to be tougher in terms of build quality but it's also lighter at 223 G versus the AL aluminium version which is upwards of 230 G this phone also has ip68 water and dust resistance and the front as well as the back has a proprietary new glass that xiaomi calls long Jing glass which is basically a version of ceramic glass and also similar to what we see on the newer generation iPhones xiaomi has designed this phone to look more square-ish and it feels great in the hand despite having a little bit of a sharper frame on the back side the front has the display sort of curving into the bezel on all four sides versus the two sides that you typically see making it a lot more comfortable to hold in the hand I would recommend popping on the included case which does come in the box which not only feels really soft on the phone but it also makes it a lot more easy to handle for day-to-day use another good thing about this device is the display which is a 6.7 in Super AMOLED display with a 34x 1440 pixel resolution which gives it 522 pixels per inch and also a peak brightness of 3,000 nits which is impressive so this this display is Great Indoors as well as Outdoors this is an ltpo display as well allowing you to range from 0 HZ basically up to 120 HZ and so whether you're consuming content at 24p or even if you're on basically an always on display where it'll use about 1 Herz of refresh this will allow you to save battery over extended periods of time and also allow you to consume content in the way that it was designed now one of the primary reasons anyone is going to be picking up this phone is the cameras and there's a lot to talk about the front has a punch hoold camera it's a 32 map camera that does do 4K video it's got good color reproduction and good video capability with 4K 60 FPS and also has image stabilization which works well in videos on the back is where all the action is and it does look like a stove top as much as any other phone that we've seen in the past we've got four circles here but only three of them are cameras all three are 50 megap sensors an ultra wide a standard as well as a Telly the main camera has a variable aperture with a physical aperture ring that closes and opens when you adjust the aperture now we've seen something similar on Samsung phones with only two stops of aperture but this one has a considerably variable aperture and this allows for better control over lighting these cameras also have Leica glass that gives it a distinct color appearance when you click pictures and likea has also added some pre-processing as well as post-processing filters that you can use to give it effects that certain lar lenses do this is basically the most rined version of a Leica camera on a phone that we've seen and it works really well not only is the the performance quick and responsive from the camera you'd have a lot of control over the camera and it gives you some really impressive results colors are excellent from this camera as well as light capture even in low light conditions is great it also manages to get good amounts of contrast in the images and video quality while capturing video at 4K 60p looks super smooth and is also extremely stable thanks to the image stabilization that is built in in most cases you will not even require a gimbal to stabilize your videos even if you're doing walking shots we'll also pop on some samples for you guys to see on the screen right now now if you're trying to push the envelope you also get 8K video at 30 frames per second which is also clean and smoother than what we've seen 8K to be on previous generation devices and you also get super slowmo at 960 frames per second for short burst along with 120 and 240 frames per second for longer durations now enabling all of this camera performance is of course the chip which is a Snapdragon 8 gen 3 chip it's a 4 nanom system process which enables a lot of functionality for the camera but it also enables a lot more connectivity with improved 5G performance and you also have Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 for the first time time around along with the ability to connect over Bluetooth 5.4 and the USB port is a USB 3.2 Gen 2 allowing for 10 GB per second downloads and uploads so basically you get data transfer so if you're capturing all of that video and photos on this device you'll be able to dump it onto your PC or laptop fairly quickly this port also allows for super fast charging giving you 120 wats of charging capability and 120 W charger is included in the Box you also have a 4 880 mAh battery you also have 50 WS of wireless charging using xiaomi's proprietary 50 W wireless charger and you also have reverse wireless charging if that's something that you like to do in terms of performance you also do get 12 GB of RAM and 16 GB of RAM options along with 256 GB all the way up to 1 TB of storage and you can extend this Ram by up to 8 GB on the low variance and up to 16 GB on the higher variance which is also enabled by this newer chip which improves the the performance of the extended Ram making it a faster exchange between the storage and the ram now performance also extends to day-to-day tasks and also benchmark scores reflect this performance but more importantly if you're doing things like gaming you will see that not only do you get reduced latency but improved overall performance with basically no lag on this device the display is great but also is the touchcreen and the overall performance from the device and it doesn't basically break a sweat even if you are pushing it to its boundaries it basically doesn't even break a sweat or heat up in whatever little we used it over the past couple of days and we are really happy with the performance that we're getting from not only the processor but also the battery life that we getting from the device now this phone also has dual SIM card slots or you can use an eim along with a physical Sim so you can have dual 5G networks enabled on this at the same time and uh the microphones also sound great on this so whether you're using them during video recording or whether you're using them during phone calls the audio capture is pretty good here is a sample of what the mic microphone sounds like on a phone call this is what the microphones sound like there are four microphones recording the audio and also doing some sort of noise cancellation so this is a sample of what the microphone sounds like when uh you're making a call on the new xiaomi 14 pro and the speakers built in are also pretty impressive and here is a sample of what the speakers sound like for the time and it has a large print volume and it was capable of up to 300° of Extrusion and it was also capable of printing basic all sorts of filament overall we are pretty impressed with the xiaomi 14 pro and it makes for a really good upgrade to an already good lineup of devices especially in the flagship range now we are waiting to see what the global pricing is going to be especially for India and what if at all are we going to see in terms of differences with respect to the features that are going to be launched in India one of the coolest things in this phone is the new xiaomi hyper OS which is a faster more efficient version of xiaomi's Mii this is designed to imp improv stability which we've seen that it does really well it also manages Ram extremely well and also dumps out cash on its own it's also designed to better leverage newer generation Hardware where it is properly tied in to the Snapdragon chip allowing for better Performance Management whether you're idling or pushing your device to the limits hence why it manages thermals really well because it only takes from the chip what it requires in terms of performance overall we're pretty impressed with the new hyper OS and it will be available to other xiaomi devices as well but this on hyper OS on Android 14 is a really good example of what many years of performance upgrades will give to you now there's still a lot of bloatware that we got on this device and this is a device that is primarily available in China at the moment so it is not designed for the global markets we'll have to see what the operating system and its performance is going to be when they do launch it for the global markets minus all the bloatware and minus all the apps that are not required for the global markets so that still needs to be tested out but that's our first impressions what do you guys think of the xiaomi 14 pro let us know in the comment section below are you excited to check this device out in the near future and if you are
