Using a Fake iPhone for 24 Hours: A Challenge

I'm going to use this thing for the next day and see if it's still functional after that. I really need it to work so I can get to Jiffy, okay? It looks like Google Maps is going to have to work for us hopefully Head East toward North 500 East, all right. It's working, bro. That looks exactly like a normal iPhone. That's kind of crazy.

You guys ever need some uh photographer or uh it is officially broken. Yeah, I'm telling you, it's officially seven and I've been using the fake iPhone for about 10 hours now. It's put me through some pickles so far. Right now, it's worked pretty good the last couple of hours that I've used it. I put on the charger for a minute because it was running low on battery and I need it to drive home today. Frankly, I'm kind of surprised that it's working this well.

The battery is staying a little bit better than I thought. I mean, it's definitely not amazing by any means, but it's working. I can answer calls, I can do everything what what a phone would do. It's all right. 14 more hours to go in the challenge I think the worst part about this phone so far is the fact that it's not put my notifications on the home screen. It's so annoying. I have to go on here and I have to swipe down to see any of my notifications, and even then, they look Jank as crap honestly, kind of annoying.

We're 8:51 just leaving the office now, but now we're driving home. I hope that my Google Maps works like obviously, I know how to get home yesterday there was like this giant traffic jam. My Google Maps sent me to the side and so I saved like 20 minutes on my commute and so I'm not trying to get stuck in traffic. Well, looks like my map is working. Let's go, phone is working Hallelujah.

Well, it's been quite a long day. I've used the fake iPhone for the last 13 hours now. It's 9:57, 28% battery honestly, I want my iPhone back good morning. It is officially been 24 hours using the fake iPhone. The deal and by the way yesterday was the third of July today is the fourth of July.

M, the phone, honestly, it performed decently well. I'm quite pleasantly surprised once I got all the problems sorted out in the beginning. I know I had the problem with the map, and that kind of screwed me over a lot but once I was able to figure that out and kind of just get things sorted out, and when it had full battery, it worked pretty good.

I actually called my girlfriend last night with it. The battery did kind of like wrecked by the video call but honestly not too bad, like obviously it's slow as crap. It's like what you'd expect from a $100 Android phone basically. But it looks like an iPhone. Honestly, I'm surprised at how well it performed later on in the day worked on the maps perfectly um definitely the app switching is a little annoying and it's annoying that I don't have a password or face ID on my phone.

That's also annoying, and even trying to use social media, and it doesn't exactly work incredibly well. But I it'll send text, it'll call, it'll do all of that. The basics, and it feels and looks like an iPhone. Like honestly, I'm impressed obviously, this is for educational purposes only um.

That's the reason why I did this test. That I just want to see if it was possible like if these fake things could be used honestly on the rating of a one to my current iPhone 15 Pro Max. I'd give it a solid four honestly Sol 4 or the off fun's a little Jiggly too, and doesn't have tap to awake, like obviously there's tons of things that it's missing.

the iPhone 15 Pro Max right the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a eim doesn't actually have a SIM card so I can't just switch over my sim so I'm actually going to get a SIM card so that I can actually do this challenge just so it's realistic here I'm not fooling around all right I told you guys I'd be honest with you trying to swap all the apps over so I can mimic my screen I have on my iPhone right here and this is the real deal here we're not we're not joking around I can't believe I'm doing this time to text my girlfriend and tell her that if I suck it responding it's cuz of my fake iPhone so here goes so now I got to put my case on the fake iPhone and my wallet and I got stuff to do so I got to go here goes phone Rebel case mag safe wallet honestly you can't even tell that it's fake you literally cannot tell it looks like my daily driver but I'll assure you it's not 24 hours starts now it's 9:03 in the morning here here goes now for something I'm very curious about this is my fake iPhone right here and I want to see if at least we can get Android auto or something oh yeah look at that come on come on come on come on what screw you not mirror link what the freak is mirror link fch does not support it no I just tried to map myself to Walmart and it's not connecting to Wi-Fi so the map didn't work and so we're kind of screwed right now that's okay I'll keep you guys posted well because of our sucky iPhone problems that we're having right now our sucky fake iPhone problems I had to resort to maps on my MacBook so luckily my macbook's coming in clutch hopefully it'll get us to after have to run to the airport real quick hopefully it'll get us there so that I have to drop the keys off for my parents car in the airport I haven't listened to the radio in so long this is awesome the package was delivered I didn't use any fetching Maps or anything like that because my phone sucks well it is currently 11:11 and we finally got the Wi-Fi to work on the fake iPhone finally made it to the office I'm here with am and am want to say hi hello but we're still going strong on the fake iPhone 20 more hours to go let's go go I so I really need to get an oil change so I'm looking for an oil change service all right let's do it a couple hours into the challenge now and um we got service we got Wi-Fi everything works great so far we're at 60% battery so I should be able to use my maps when I go home by the way I've used this around a couple people today and they have not even noticed that it was fake at all I told I told someone they're like best YouTuber everever
