Fifth Gear - Behind the Scenes - Redd Pepper

The Title Does It Work This Week: A Hands-On Review of Voice Recognition Systems

As I sit down to write this article, I am reminded that I need a voice to help me test these new voice recognition systems. That's why I brought my friend Brett here with me today. My name is Red Pepper, and I'm a voice-over artist. If you're wondering what a voice-over artist does, it's quite simple really - we're the guys who do the voices for movie trailers, commercials, and even some animated films.

I've had a fascinating career so far, one that's taken me from driving trains to becoming a television executive. It all started when I made an announcement on my train one day, which somehow caught the attention of a television executive who was traveling on it at the time. Fifteen years later, and here I am today, still doing what I love every minute of it.

Recently, Fifth Gear invited me down to Brook to check out some new voice activation systems for Mercedes CLS and Ford Fiesta. As soon as I stepped into the car, I knew that this was going to be an exciting experience. The Mercedes CLS is a blindingly beautiful car - if you've got the money, you should definitely buy it! It's superb inside, with all sorts of advanced features at your fingertips.

I couldn't help but feel like a kid in a candy store as I explored the various features of this luxurious vehicle. However, my main priority for today was to test out these new voice recognition systems. I'm not sure if I fully understand what people mean when they say that there's a 1200-pound kit in this Merc - perhaps it's referring to a navigation system?

The CLS has an extremely expensive navigation system, which costs a whopping 1200 pounds. I must admit that I'm skeptical about its quality, but the smooth response and features seem impressive enough. The system responds at a speed of 97.9 megahertz, which seems quite fast to me.

However, I was eager to see how it compares to the Ford Fiesta's more affordable navigation system, which costs a mere 150 pounds. Upon comparing both systems, I found that while the CLS's system is certainly smooth and feature-rich, the Fiesta's system impressed me with its speed and sharpness. I couldn't help but feel that if I had to choose between these two options, I would probably go for the Fiesta - after all, it's a car designed for speed and agility.

As I continue to explore the features of both cars, I'm excited to see which one comes out on top in terms of overall quality. With the help of my friend Brett and this new voice recognition technology, I'm confident that I'll be able to provide you with an unbiased review of these two impressive vehicles.
