While we're at the warehouse, I figured I would let you guys in on some news those hoodies that we had I could not be any more happy with the results of them. You guys were stoked on him they sold out so fast we're getting a small restock in or should I say we've already gotten the restock in by the time this video is up so if you go to the website now I'm not gonna tell anywhere else because last time I did and it was sold out before the video even uploaded but the hoodies are now back available. I think we only restocked about 50 of them because that's all we could do before the hurricane and we're also doing a very very big sale on these red backpacks.

When we were making them for everything with the flood, I didn't realize that we had a whole nother box of these left so we added those to inventory and they normally go for fifty dollars but we're selling them for 35. They've got a padded suede laptop pouch waterproof water bottle pouch sunglass pouch that's suede you don't have to sell it that hardened oh my like I'm I was honestly surprised when I saw the quality of the backpacks. I bring them to the skate parks at the gym to school when I'm teaching thirty-five dollars it's a great deal.

Even looks like a lanyard look at that you know what we'll throw in a lanyard with every backpack but on top of that we have something special that we're gonna be doing. But I will tell you guys that once we're back at home because I don't have them here but you may or may not remember these things right here hey let me show him real quick Nicole these are actually pieces that we cut off of Nicole's 240 when we were making room for that tucked radiator so what I thought would be cool with them rather than just throwing them out which we normally do with old parts.

I thought was cool since they're painted purple so Nicole and I signed them. I'm just gonna give out one a day with a random order starting today, so like we'll give one out Friday went out Saturday Sunday and then we have one for Monday and Tuesday. The one thing I will say is if you get one be very careful because they're extremely sharp. I think we'll wrap them up in something really padded and write a big note it says danger danger oh yeah I'm gonna be really funny.

The Wrap Up: A Special Delivery

You want a wrap-up in caution tape let's do it grab it Nicole got this caution tape just randomly to be funny forever ago and it's been bothering me because she wanted me to put it in the garage which is my personal space. I just always gets in the way of stuff you're up on and are up on the seat as a better job Nicole, you're gonna have a hard time top in mind because I can't even spell alright I'll give it to you your note looks better, I think.

I still think we should still put these in padded envelopes because they're pretty sharp. Look at how great they look; they're so great just as a reminder those will be going out just random orders no possible way to choose whatsoever if you order more I can't guarantee that you'll get one it's gonna be completely random anyway.

The website is LZ MFG calm we're gonna continue to prep for this hurricane tomorrow we'll probably get some more sandbags maybe start lifting some of the cars up in the garage because I believe it's supposed to hit Sunday maybe Sunday afternoon looks like it's right on track to hit Orlando now it's it's seeming more and more plausible or more and more certain each day.

So thank you guys that have been reaching out to us and wishing us the best, and those of you who that have been telling us to get the F out of here I think we'll be okay since we're not in South Florida or on the coast but it's what we're hoping for. makes me happy day two of hurricane ARMA prep and we are off to get sandbags all of this hurricane stuff has been creating crazy ridiculous long lines and people fighting over things like gas and water so I'm curious what the sandbag situation is about to be look at this massive line half the roads just to get in here were blocked off so this has been a rather tricky trying to figure out where to go it wasn't so bad but man was that high in Florida son I'm so excited for it to cool down here drive cars no a/c and peace shale sand and peace not a fan of the heat sorry Florida all those sandbags Shannon even squattin yet the next thing that I want to do is figure out the whole window situation in terms of boarding them up my new neighbor was nice enough to share with me his solution and kind of how he did it so typically I think people would use wood and just tap cons but the issue is when you're putting like anchors into the concrete if you keep on having to redraw them it weakens them so he did is he actually put studs in so this is like a tap con stud and that way he can just slide the wood over it has like nice little caps you can take it off and then the woods already so if there's another hurricane you can slide it back on so I'm gonna hope that they still have something like this left at Home Depot and I'm gonna go take care of that so we're gonna try to be smart about this Florida looked something like this I don't really know it's gonna be hard to draw this to make it look good we're somewhere about here right so the direction of the hurricane is counterclockwise so what that means because the hurricane is traveling upward the first ones that we're going to be getting are going to be coming from the east so this is actually gonna be at the front of our house so that's going to be the strongest winds and that's what I need to prepare for first so after we get the wind from the front of the house then we're going to be having it come from the north because it's going like this and now that's actually going to be on the of our house if this was an aerial view we have skatepark in the back we have like the road here and then on this side we have a fence and a bunch of other houses here so I don't think that it's going to be as bad coming this direction but there's a bunch of trees right here so this is another area that I really want to focus on just in terms of the branches flying at the windows this side should be fine but when the hurricane is almost gone we are gonna have some wind from back but that's gonna be the weakest which is really good either that made sense and was mildly interesting or was incredibly confusing either way I gotta go by those anchors so let's go all these shells used to be filled with plywood how crazy is that they were sold out of every single concrete fastener imaginable but some lady happened to walk by at the perfect time with a box full of tap cons so I got some they're not studs so they're not gonna be like reusable and probably won't be good for another storm but it's better than nothing I guess this is what I got they'll definitely work I just wanted studs that way I could keep reusing them where I guess it's not good to keep drilling and REE drilling these into the concrete because it loses its strength so those of the random wood that I have that I can use for the shutters I've got a couple sheets of plywood which is in very high demand at the moment I've got a bunch of ramp armor that I can use and I've got all these scraps that should work well for the smaller windows the main reason we're doing this is to protect tree branches from flying right into the windows and breaking them because that would not be fun so what I'm gonna try to do I don't know if this is the best way to do it or not I'm just gonna raise these pieces of plywood on some concrete blocks so it'll be easy for me to fasten I got one window done I'm not gonna lie not really stoked on having to drill holes in my house it's kind of sketchy I don't really like it there's gonna be holes there afterwards I don't know if it's actually gonna do anything so I might do like one more on the front side of the house since that's gonna get the most of the wind since there's the least of the things deflecting it and that's the first initial gusts that we're gonna get but never again I'm gonna get one more thing done so we're stopping by the warehouse so we can elevate the Miata now although it probably won't need to be elevated just in case we do have flooding conditions I want to get it somewhat off the ground because that'll make it way easier if we need to lift it more off the ground rather than if it's on the ground on the ground because it's so low it's a pain and jack up
