OPPO Find N2 Flip Review - Love At First Flip!

**The Oppo Find N2 Flip: A Revolutionary Foldable Phone**

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Oppo Find N2 Flip, and I must say that it's an incredible device. The phone comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, which is one of the largest on any flip phone currently available. When folded, the screen becomes even larger at 7.1 inches. The device also features a quad-camera setup, including a primary camera with 1/1.78" sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 2MP depth sensors.

One of the standout features of the Oppo Find N2 Flip is its selfie capabilities. While I rarely use the selfie camera myself, I was impressed by its output quality and the various features that come with it, such as the Palm gesture to take selfies and portraits from the back camera. This feature has been particularly handy for me when taking photos in isolation or wanting to capture a particular moment.

In terms of performance, I found the Oppo Find N2 Flip to be satisfactory. The diamond City 9000+ processor provides reliable performance for everyday tasks and even gaming. I played games like Kenshin Impact and Pubg on the phone, and while the game was stable in medium settings, I experienced a bit of heating near the camera module when playing in higher settings.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip also comes with advanced software features that set it apart from other foldable phones. For example, there's regular customization options, such as Flex form video streaming, Flex from video calling, and flex form camera – all of which are similar to what the Galaxy Z flip 4 provides. I particularly enjoyed the digital pets feature, which lets you choose between wallpaper options with different pet animations that change depending on the phone's state.

In terms of software support, Oppo has committed to providing four years of major ColorOS updates and five years of regular security updates for the Find N2 Flip. This is actually comparable to what Samsung provides on their high-end flagships. While this commitment is a significant selling point, there are some areas where the phone could be improved.

One notable omission is the ability to stand the phone still at any angle. When folded, the phone can only hold its shape up to 30 degrees inwards or outwards. This would have been incredibly useful for taking creative photos or videos from a lower angle. Additionally, there are limited options available on the cover screen, with only a handful of features such as quick toggle menu, notification checking, and music control.

On the flip side (pun intended), I was surprised to find that Oppo has not included the option for 4K recording from the ultra-wide-angle camera or front-facing cameras. The videos recorded by the primary rear camera are limited to 1080p 30 FPS, while those from the front-facing cameras are also capped at 1080p 30 FPS. While this may not be a major issue for most users, it's something that Oppo could potentially improve upon in future iterations.

**Conclusion**

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the Oppo Find N2 Flip. It addresses several issues that even Samsung has struggled with in their foldable phones and offers a unique set of features that make it stand out from the competition. While there are some areas for improvement, such as more options on the cover screen and the video recording capabilities, I genuinely believe that Oppo is on the right track with its first-generation flip phone.

One thing that's clear is that Oppo has made significant strides in foldable technology, and it will be exciting to see how they continue to innovate and refine their design, cameras, and software. With four years of major ColorOS updates and five years of regular security updates committed to the Find N2 Flip, I have no doubt that this phone will remain relevant for a long time.

So, which one would you choose between these two foldables if given the option? Or would you not go for a foldable at all? Let us know in the comments below!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enforeign me long enough then you know that I'm a massive fan of foldables especially the flipping ones as a female the portability side of the phones is something I find very practical and when Oppo launched this phone the find and to flip I instantly got it for myself and have since been using it as my secondary phone alongside my other test phones honestly I am really impressed with what Oppo has been able to achieve with their first ever Flipboard here Oppo has somehow managed to overcome some significant limitations of the Samsung Galaxy Z flip 4. yes I'm talking about the crease the battery life and the cover screen first let me talk about the cover screen I think this is probably the biggest honor flip phone to date at 3.26 inches which means you get a lot of room to do stuff and things don't have to look cramped for example take being a high-risk selfie or shooting a selfie video is much more convenient here than say the Z flip 4. I also felt that it is more natural to use a vertical cover screen than a horizontal one I do admit that it does not look as pretty as the z54 but then again at the end of the day it's all about usability and convenience which I think Oppo has struck the right balance off even quality wise this cover screen is bright and responsive so I am pretty happy about it next the crease or should I say the absence of a grease having used Samsung's flip phones year after year something I had to get used to and settle was the presence of the crease and I kind of had trained my mind to ignore its presence but not on this phone here you can barely feel anything close to a crease it is visible when you look at it from certain angles but when you're interacting with the screen it feels like a normal phone likewise Oppo says that they have used a new generation flexon hinge for controlling the crease and also this gapless design which you can see looks very uniform when comparing side by side with the Galaxy Z flip 4. plus this capless design also means that there is literally no dust getting accumulated on it talking about folding Oppo says that the fine end to flip is TUV Greenland certified for up to 400 000 folds so long-term durability should not be an issue here at least in theory now I have been using this phone only for about two to three weeks so I can't really confirm its durability just yet but yeah if any new developments come forth in our long term usage I will definitely let you guys know through a pinned comment third the battery life on the Oppo Fine into flip is actually good now when I say good I mean it's good for a flip phone it carries a 4300 milliamp hour battery that gave me around 5 hours of screen on time in my everyday usage um in comparison the Galaxy Z flip 4 only provided me with a maximum of 4 hours of screen on time now to put things into context I am someone who's into watching YouTube and Netflix a lot I am always scrolling through
