Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED _ The Foldable Laptop

this and nothing should happen in fact I've been using it and it's been working actually relatively fine uh coming to authentication uh it also has Windows uh hello authentication so you have that and it turns off the overall feel I didn't feel that they have compromised on this coming to battery life again the battery life was surprisingly good it has a relatively actually big battery for this form factor uh it's basically a 75 watt hour battery that we are getting on this one and again you can charge with either of the what do you say uh Thunderbolt ports and it supports PD charging up to 65 watts and I was getting anywhere about seven seven and a half hours of battery life again the battery life will depend on what mode you are using guys if you're using like this in the traditional laptop mode because automatically it shuts off the lower part of this screen you'll get better battery life but if you are opting for the full screen size and using it in like a desktop mode or something like that yes of course the battery life will take slight head but overall I would say a very good battery life on this one uh also of course you get uh Microsoft uh home office pre-installed on this one uh so on all the uh you also get the Asus companion software and as I've told you that Asus screen expert screen where if you're in this mode you can optimize it it's always floating here in the background so you can use this one when you have multiple windows and stuff to manage it and again this is a magnetic keyboard as I've told you and you just place it and automatically detects and the trackpad I was worried about the trackpad responsiveness but again the trackpad responsiveness is actually very good supports the multi uh finger gestures and all those things are actually supported on this laptop uh you can also use it like a tablet and in fact for some of the new sites I did use it like this and this gives you a feel of using a newspaper like this but again this is not practical I would say but in pitch you can actually do it and again whoever I showed this laptop this is a curiosity thing everybody was like what is this how does this work a lot of questions about that so again a very interesting product I have to say so guys what do I feel about this foldable laptop I have to say this is a very different and a niche product and I was also very very skeptical when I started using it but again in this regular form factor when you put this the keyboard it just works like a regular laptop and it works actually really really well so you don't have to actually worry about it and yes I like the fact that when you open it up you can actually use it like a traditional desktop I like the edition of the kickstand that we have it's integrated within the machine itself so it's not a separate dock or something that you have to put so that way it works like two machines in one and also in the what do you say unfolded mode like this I feel uh if you are a person who multitasks a lot then this can be useful addition I would say because it becomes you can put side by side one window at the top one window at the bottom and get a lot of things done but certainly a very Niche product I would say coming to the cons is that this is the external keyboard that we get and as I've told you guys you have to charge this one separately with the USB type-c port I wish if you just placed it like this this would have gotten magnetically automatically charged but that's not the case but overall a very interesting product I would say the first of the foldable what do you say laptops that I have tested and by the way again guys this is Cutting Edge technology that we are getting so again this is actually very very expensive in India if I believe it's around 3.3 lakhs I'll have the exact pricing but as of now in pre-orders if you do it I believe it's about 2 lakh 85 000 or something like that so what do you feel about this Asus Zenbook fold what do you call it a laptop a hybrid or what so what do you feel about the same do let me know in the comment section below and guys that's it for now

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys this is Ranjit and in this video I'm going to show you a very interesting product that I've been actually testing for the last 10 days and we know now we have folding uh smartphones uh for the last couple of years but now Asus has introduced a laptop which is actually a folding laptop as you can see this is the one and you open this up and this becomes a 17 inch screen and you just fold it like this it becomes a 12.5 inch traditional laptop it can also convert to a desktop laptop a desktop machine tablet so a true hybrid a very Innovative product and I'm just glad to see that this product is a reality this is not a concept or something this product is going to be actually sold in the market so let's have a closer look at this incredible laptop that is known as the Asus Zenbook 17 fold OLED so guys this is the laptop that is the Asus Zenbook 17 Ford and this is actually it made up of actually magnesium and it reflects the light near the Asus logo it looks actually pretty cool this part is actually made up of leather and this actually acts like a kickstand I'll show you and this is the back it comes it's Intel Evo branded this comes with core i7 U series of processor I'll show you that is the world's first 17 inch foldable laptop and let me actually show you the ports first in fact this actually has quad speaker so if you put it in any orientation the sound comes actually really good we do have a USB type-c port and which is actually a thunderbolt 4 Port uh here also we have the volume rocker so if you are in the tablet mode or something you can use it and here you have the power on off button one went to dissipate the heat there is only one fan on this one and I've noticed that for the most part this is a very silent laptop but when you stress like benchmarks yes this fan Rams up we also have the audio port over here LED light and one more Thunderbolt for port and we open the laptop like this and I'll show you the keyboard I've just kept the keyboard inside you don't have to keyboard I keep the keyboard and as you can see this is the keyboard and uh when you have the keyboard it works like a traditional laptop but in this form factor like a normal laptop if you're using it this becomes a 12.5 inch screen that you have so the moment you put the keyboard it and the keyboard is magnetically attached and if you just remove it it opens up and goes in this full screen mode you can obviously put it like this and as I was telling you you can use it like a desktop now you can put it like this and now it becomes like a desktop it's too bright actually the screen is pretty bright on this one it's lower it a little bit as yeah looks much much better and in this full screen mode guys this becomes like a desktop kind of experience I would say as you can see and you can put the keyboard here and just use it like a traditional desk laptop so definitely a two in one I would say and I use this uh in this mode quite a bit where I had space so I was able to use it and this is again a Bluetooth keyboard that you are getting uh you have uh what is it you have to actually charge this one with USB type c port and Asus says that you can use it continuously for over a day or with just a casual use it it lasts for a week before you have to charge it so let me just uh go back so this is one of the desktop mode and here we have a 17 inch screen 17.3 to be precise in the four is to three aspect ratio that's actually good for productivity and it's a 2.5 k screen and as I've told you it can go very bright but again as it's OLED screen guys this foldable uh it will reflect a little bit of light it's reflective it's not matte so that's what it is but let me just this is the kick stand as I've told you it is integrated in the body so let me just put it back and pull it like this okay you can use it like a tablet or some massive tablet like this I use this quite a bit like this and uh here again you get the virtual keyboard if you're using it like this so you don't have to worry Windows come and this is actually great for multitasking let me just open some of the apps and as you can use and say I have opened a bunch of apps now and using this mode let me just go back here you have this Asus expert setting where you can actually let's say I have these three windows I can just press this and it quickly divides it so this way I would say or let's say it's you just want into two one at the top one at the bottom this is great if you're doing some research work or something like that this is independent this is independent so you can do that or if you don't want that of course you can go back to this full screen mode like uh this uh so I I used it like this for a little bit of time when I was doing some research work okay I was working on the top for example writing the document bottom screen I had some material for reference so you can use it and of course if you don't want you want to that traditional laptop just place this and this is magnetic and just it now reverts back to the normal laptop mode and the trackpad quality is good guys you don't have to worry about the trackpad the only the nitpicking is that the trackpad is not backlit that is what I have noticed but apart from that the quality of the trackpad is actually good on this laptop now you might be asking uh uh what about the processing power and on these things this is part by the latest Intel 12th generation core i7 specifically the 1250u this is actually a very power efficient processor just consumes 9 watts of power let me actually show you let's go to CPU Z so guys this is cpu-z and it's having the core i7 1250u processor as I've told you and this is basically a core i7 that you are getting only one variant is going to be sold in India this is based on 10 nanometer process and this is actually actually a 12 core processor guys uh basically uh it has two P cores and eight power efficiency chords on this one and a very power efficient processor as I've told you guys just nine watts of power that is TDP and if you're using the laptop normally like this doing just Word documents casual browsing and all this thing I haven't noticed that the fans are ramping up I only noticed the fans ramping up when I was running the benchmarks and something like that of course the main board is made by Asus and memory we get 16 gigabytes of ddr5 RAM and it's actually very fast around that we are getting and that shows in the performance of course it's having Intel Iris Graphics XC on this one and so actually pretty good configuration core I 7 for a what do you say Ultra lighter kind of a form factor that you are getting on this one uh next thing you might ask I'll show you the benchmarks and all these things what about the crease or something on this let me just close all the windows the good thing is that when you unfold it like this and everything you hardly notice this crease on this one it's actually much better than many of the smart foldable smartphones let me just zoom out as you can see now this is in the full screen mode yes the crease does not bother me in this one it's a lot less prevalent I would say compared to the most of the smartphones and of course if you're using it like this in the laptop mode you hardly notice that one on this one and of course you can minimize this and again I completely forgot you uh you it's actually great for watching videos and in fact let me give you an idea let me just load one YouTube video I'll just use the virtual keyboard to type the the sound I have to say is one of the best that I have seen on uh what do you say windows based laptop it has that quad uh oops here it is let's display this and I'm going to increase the volume this is not even at 30 volume guys this is 60 volume so in terms of sound department they have done a very very good job it's and again as of today it's a quad speaker setup so no matter what orientation you have you have it like this or have it like this the sound is actually really really good again the screen is also Dolby vision and all these things so again for watching videos and stuff also it's a very very good experience I have to say I enjoyed watching videos on this one and again because it's having that 16 gigabytes of RAM core i7 processor uh in day to day activities I didn't notice any Ram issues or something it's very fast and fluid uh so you can push it a little bit I won't say this is a hardcore machine or something but yeah light video editing and stuff you can actually do with this one of course it's a core i7 processor that you are getting on this so General performance is good but let me actually let me just go back to the keyboard mode like this so guys now let me actually show you the actual benchmarks uh with this one and uh okay I've saved some scores okay let's start with the what do you say cinebench R23 uh again as you can see let me zoom in we got a very healthy score of 5289 and guys remember it's just consuming 9 watts of power so for this kind of a laptop this is a pretty decent score I would say next I also ran some other benchmarks let me show you Crystal the smart I showed you and the results let me just show you insane these are insane results for SSD 6.9 6.9 gigabytes of transfer right over four I generally say if it's over like 2000 it's a very very fast SSD here we are getting an insane SSD it has a one terabyte SSD which is a PCI and four by four which is one of the best ssds you can get so in terms of Hardware it actually uh Asus hasn't compromised in fact here are all the specs for your reference so the best of the best specs they have given I also ran the geekbench for CPU because it's a popular single core we got 1649 and multicore seven three six seven again which is a very respectable score as I've told you and the best part is after if you're doing is regular tasks like this super silent machine the fan doesn't ramp up yes when I was running benchmarks and stuff it didn't ramp up uh again in opencl uh 14 899. uh I wouldn't say it's a gaming laptop but yeah casual games at medium to low settings you can do it but again not hardcore gaming of course it's not meant to be like I also asked Asus about the hinge how durable will be the hinge and they say that it's guaranteed for 30 000 folds like this and nothing should happen in fact I've been using it and it's been working actually relatively fine uh coming to authentication uh it also has Windows uh hello authentication so you have that and it turns off the overall feel I didn't feel that they have compromised on this coming to battery life again the battery life was surprisingly good it has a relatively actually big battery for this form factor uh it's basically a 75 watt hour battery that we are getting on this one and again you can charge with either of the what do you say uh Thunderbolt ports and it supports PD charging up to 65 watts and I was getting anywhere about seven seven and a half hours of battery life again the battery life will depend on what mode you are using guys if you're using like this in the traditional laptop mode because automatically it shuts off the lower part of this screen you'll get better battery life but if you are opting for the full screen size and using it in like a desktop mode or something like that yes of course the battery life will take slight head but overall I would say a very good battery life on this one and uh also of course you get uh Microsoft uh home office pre-installed on this one uh so on all the uh you also get the Asus companion software and as I've told you that Asus screen expert screen where if you're in this mode you can optimize it it's always floating here in the background so you can use this one when you have multiple windows and stuff to manage it and again this is a magnetic keyboard as I've told you and you just place it and automatically detects and the trackpad I was worried about the trackpad responsiveness but again the trackpad responsiveness is actually very good supports the multi uh finger gestures and all those things are actually supported on this laptop uh you can also use it like a tablet and in fact for some of the new sites I did use it like this and this gives you a feel of a using a newspaper like this but again this is not practical I would say but in a pitch you can actually do it and again whoever I showed this laptop this is a curiosity thing everybody was like what is this how does this work a lot of questions about that so again a very interesting and initial product I have to say so guys what do I feel about this foldable laptop I have to say this is a very different and a niche product and I was also very very skeptical when I started using it but again in this regular form factor when you put this the keyboard it just works like a regular laptop and it works actually really really well so you don't have to actually worry about it and yes I like the fact that when you open it up you can actually use it like a traditional desktop I like the edition of the kickstand that we have it's integrated within the machine itself so it's not a separate dock or something that you have to put so that way it works like two machines in one and also in the what do you say unfolded mode like this I feel uh if you are a person who multitasks a lot then this can be useful addition I would say because it becomes you can put side by side one window at the top one window at the bottom and get a lot of things done but certainly a very Niche product I would say coming to the cons is that this is the external keyboard that we get and as I've told you guys you have to charge this one separately with the USB type-c port I wish if you just placed it like this this would have gotten magnetically automatically charged but that's not the case but overall a very interesting product I would say the first of the foldable what do you say laptops that I have tested and by the way again guys this is Cutting Edge technology that we are getting so again this is actually very very expensive in India if I believe it's around 3.3 lakhs I'll have the exact pricing but as of now in pre-orders if you do it I believe it's about 2 lakh 85 000 or something like that so what do you feel about this Asus Zenbook fold what do you call it a laptop a hybrid or what so what do you feel about the same do let me know in the comment section below and guys that's it for now thanks for watching this is Ranjit and I hope to see you in my next video and definitely I would say this is a review unit and this will be going back to Asus now and I'm a little bit saddened that it's going back because I really started to enjoy using this new kind of an experience anyways guys that's it for now thanks for watching this is Ranjit and I hope to see you bye next videohi guys this is Ranjit and
