Hey Everybody, This is Erica: The Technology Nerd Who Likes to Build Stuff

As I sit down to write this article, I can barely keep my eyes open. I just finished wrapping up what I think was the most strenuous and daunting thing I've ever done so far in my life, and I'm feeling utterly exhausted. I just returned from a shoot at Hollywood Center studios for YouTube Awesome Stuff Week, where I had the chance to talk about some really cool stuff that I'll be uploading to my channel at some point in the near future.

My day started early, with me getting up at 5 am. Yes, you read that right – 5 am! I slept a couple of hours beforehand, and then headed out to the studio. The waiting game was on, and I have to say, it's one thing that really gets my blood boiling. There's just so much waiting involved in film work, and sometimes I feel like I'm going stir-crazy. But, I digress.

After a fun-filled morning spent getting ready – including taking on some makeup onto my face (although I wouldn't exactly call myself an expert when it comes to makeup). My face has become quite... well, let's just say "cemented" over the years, and I'm not sure how many facial expressions I could make at this point. It was a new experience for me, talking in front of a bunch of people instead of just sitting by myself in front of my camera.

It was also the first time I've ever been completely honest about how I'm feeling – I know I usually try to put on a brave face (or should I say, cemented one?). But this time, it felt weird talking to a camera crew with all these people around me. The production team did an amazing job, though – they tried their best to make the process as easy and comfortable for me as possible. It was really refreshing to see.

After the shoot was over, I met up with my hotel room at the Adeline Hotel. I'd heard great things about this place beforehand, and I was excited to check it out. As soon as I walked in, I was struck by how modern the decor was – there were cemented walls everywhere, which I have to admit made me feel a bit like I was in some kind of futuristic space station. The style of the room was certainly... interesting, but I did appreciate the unique touch.

One of the best things about my hotel room was the view. When I looked out the window, I could see the Hollywood side – and I have to say, it looks pretty nice from up there. It's a bit hard to make out at first glance (I think it might be because my eyes are still getting used to being awake), but trust me when I say that this view is definitely one of the highlights of staying at the Adeline Hotel.

So, that was my day – full of waiting, talking in front of a camera crew, and enjoying some amazing views from my hotel room. It's been a bit of an ordeal, to be honest, but I'm glad I got to share it all with you. And now, if you'll excuse me, I think I'm going to go take a nap – this exhaustion is no joke!
