I recently got my hands on three new earbuds and I'm excited to share my thoughts with you. The first one is from OnePlus, which I'll refer to as the "OnePlus buds". The second one is from a brand that I won't mention, but they're not too shabby. And finally, there's another pair from a well-known brand like Sony or Bose.

As soon as I put on the OnePlus buds, I knew I was in for a treat. The sound quality was crisp and clear, with deep bass and treble that really stood out. But what really caught my attention was the volume. Oh man, the volume on these earbuds is INSANE. I'm not kidding when I say it's almost too loud. Even at maximum volume, you can still hear a little bit of background noise. I did an experiment where I put them back in and listened to some baby crying in the background while wearing the earbuds, and I could barely hear the baby.

Now, I know what you're thinking - "Is it just loud or does it actually cancel out noise?" Well, let me tell you, these earbuds don't quite live up to their full potential when it comes to active noise cancellation. They do have transparency mode, which is basically like having a conversation without taking them off. It's not as good as the AirPod Pros, but it's still pretty cool.

One thing that really stood out to me about these earbuds was how well they work with other devices. I tested them out with an iPad and a OnePlus phone, and they paired up seamlessly. The sound quality was even better on the phone, and I loved the custom EQ setting that came with it.

But what really sets these earbuds apart is their design. They're sleek and stylish, with a compact case that fits perfectly in your pocket or purse. And let's not forget about the battery life - these things last all day long, even with heavy use. Plus, they come with fast charging and wireless charging capabilities.

So, what do I think of the OnePlus buds? Overall, I'd give them a solid 9 out of 10. ip55 water resistant now you got dual drivers so you got an 11 millimeter woofer and a six millimeter tweeter you got adaptive noise cancellation and transparency mode three mics in each earbud that's going to give you crystal clear phone calls these go up to 54 milliseconds low latency perfect for gaming the battery life is nine hours on a single charge with an additional 30 hours using the charging case so that's a total of 39 hours now you do got fast charge so 10 minutes of charge will give you three hours worth of play time and the case does have wireless charge now you got full touch controls for playing pause skipping reverse tracks answering and phone calls you're getting spatial audio dynamic head tracking and you got the hey Melody app that's available for Android and let me grab a little unboxing knife uh let's see did we miss anything okay nothing on the box classic red and white one plus presentation I like that why not okay here we go one plus budge Pro 2. okay so Inside the Box buds for life okay let's see now this is gonna be your usual books and pluck them and follow them let's see do we got any troll stickers negative on the stickers these are going to be your buds okay touch area this looks like a little quick start pamphlet okay flick of the wrist let's see what else you'll get now this is going to be your charging cable okay red cable Clump USB a to USB type c I choose inspect that for quality and you get some different size ear tips scan and peel these off okay so small medium and large so the medium look like they're already pre-installed all right and now for the actual buds bomb here it is let's open them up there it is now on the side note who's seen the one plus launch okay y'all did not give my man Hans Zimmer the proper amount of respect so let me take a second and Shout Out Han Zimmer because the crowd was not going crazy but these um he he had a little spice to the presentation now if you get the green all right this is called Arbor Green it's going to match perfectly with your OnePlus 11. beautiful let's take a look at the actual buds okay little stickers in here now these have that matte and metallic look to them I love that little stems look very similar to airpod Pros but I love this green color let's see um anything else that's pretty much it for the case drop them back in here's how they look all right so let's grab a phone pair these up and start our usual testing Talk Amongst yourselves all right y'all so be back in first let's check the case for Wireless charge now I got the Razer wireless charger you see the LED on the bottom if you put a product on it that has Wireless charge you're going to see the LEDs flashing okay the LED lit up lights flashing wireless charger and deck all right so now let's take a closer look at the charging case One Plus Brandon on the top USB type-c charging slot on the back little LED on the front and when you open it up there's your Bluetooth pairing button nice matte feel on this so you get no fingerprints and the case is definitely lightweight I like it now let's take a closer look at the earbuds again you have that matte and glossy finish I like that and just for quick size comparison here's the airpod pros very similar the stem might be a little bit longer on the OnePlus but I'm feeling the design all right so now let's try the pairing process for the first time so we're going to open these up OnePlus buds Pro 2. okay there's your Google Fast pair look how fast this is connecting let's do this in real time and see how long it takes to peer these up for the first time sit done now with the Google Fast pair once these are paired up every time you open your case you're gonna get that pop up and you're going to get your device details all right so now let's walk through the app so we click on hey Melody connect to the buds okay one plus earbud functions you got a tutorial if you want I already did that you got a picture of your earbuds the battery percentage for the left and the right now here's your noise control so you got active noise cancellation which you got smart Max moderate or mild okay I'm going to leave it on max you can turn that off now I'm wearing the earbuds right now I turned it off okay you can definitely hear the difference and let's put it on transparency mode okay now I have my nails on the table I can have my voice crystal clear now if you want you can have personalized noise cancellation you're gonna have to do a little test I already did that you got a fully functional EQ so you got balanced bold serenade bass or of course you could do custom now I'm going to start off on bass why not now you got high res mode you can play your music in high-res audio you got golden sound that's another little sound that you got to do that measures your ear canals you got spatial audio Zen mode here's your different earbud controls okay for the left and the right fully customizable you got dual connection okay multi-point you got camera related settings okay you can take photos using the earbuds that's a nice little touch you got your earbud fit test you got find my buds and a firmware update all right let's try to find my buds real quick now I'm gonna play the sound let's see if I can hear it oh look at that all right so I'm finding the buds and it's playing a little sound so let's say let me see if I just drop these somewhere that's a nice loud sound okay so fully functional app simple and straightforward okay one more quick thing I wanted to mention with the spatial audio you could turn it off you can have it fixed or you can have dynamic head tracking all right so now let's talk about the look The fit and the feel now just put these in my ears they're very lightweight and comfortable and you do have a secure tight fit matter of fact let's do the head shake test now I'm going to start with minimum shakage okay no movement at all intermediate seconds okay nothing maximum shakage no movement at all now make sure you got the right size tips here's how they look if you ever wore a set of airpod Pros they're gonna look and feel exactly the same okay stylish and comfortable all right so now let's do a little sound test all right so I got one of my Classics skewed up we got Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre Nothing But a G thing now I'm going to start off at maximum volume I got the EQ set to Bass high res audio turned on and active noise cancellation turned on okay here we go Birdman hands rubbing together one tap for playing pause and I promise y'all I'm not gonna sing Let's Get It On okay okay now these sound crystal clear That Bass is hitting one two three until the vote Snoop Doggy Dog and Dr Dre is that the dough ready to make connection so back door enough let's go give me the take them out and put them in the charging case all right so let's hit play on the music I'm gonna take these out put them in the case wait for it to fully disconnect okay still connected okay there it is fully disconnected now we're going to take them out here we go One Mississippi to Mississippi two Mississippi's okay as soon as I said to Mississippi I heard a little chime inside the earbuds like and it's reconnected that is pretty good all right so now let's check multi-point connection can you pair two devices at the same time I'm going to take the earbud and put it right by the mic so you can hear it let's start with the Android phone okay so it's playing the music now let's hit the iPhone and it's also playing the music multi-point connection is a go all right so now let's do the one earbud test can you play music from One earbud while the other one is charging up in the case let's find out so I'm gonna hit play on the music I'm gonna take out the left earbud drop it in the case close it up let's hit play the right side is still playing okay so now I'm gonna put the right side back in wait for it to reconnect okay now I'm going to take out the right side put it in the case let's hit play the left side is still playing so this is pretty dope you can use either earbud independently basically doubling your battery life all right so now let's check for latency and what I mean by that is when you're watching the video is there any delay from the person's lips to what you hear let's hit play now I'm going to put one earbud right by the mic so y'all can hear it for yourself okay no lip sync delay at all so this will be perfect for gaming or for watching videos excellent all right so now let's check in air detection what that means is when you're playing your music if you take out a nail Bud it'll automatically pause the music when you put the earbud back in your music will resume let's try it out let's hit play okay so the music's playing snatch out the earbud you see it post okay put the earbud back in my ear music started playing I'ma Snapchat the left ear bud music pause put it back in music resumed no issues at all right so now let's check out the touch controls and on the side note these are fully customizable now the controls are built into the stem so I'm gonna put these on now if you want to activate noise cancellation long press turned on noise cancellation now if I want to turn on transparency mode long press and there's transparency mode now let's go over to music single tap the play and pause okay there it is double tap to go to the next song okay and triple tap to go to the previous track all right so all of the touch controls work all right so now let's check the call Quality I'm going to call up on Maya okay so we got one plus buds let's get maximum volume hi girlie what's up what you doing oh okay okay Lord of the Rings that's your new name bro it rings man let me hold one of them Rings bro let me get one of them Clear she said I sounded great she actually thought these was my favorites the airpod pros because these are the ones that I usually talk to on the phone with so these I would say the core quality is excellent she said 8.7 I would say from my end I'm gonna give it 8.7 also why not let's be extra all right so now let's check noise cancellation and transparency mode so I'm wearing the earbuds right now I got them on transparency mode I can hear everything perfectly fine but I'm gonna go outside and test it out in the real world but just in the house no issues of course we got the baby crying so let's activate her real quick okay now let's turn on noise cancellation now without any music turning on noise cancellation definitely drowned out some of the baby a little bit but here's the real test okay I'm Gonna Play nipsy Hustle blue laces 2 with the baby crying at max volume and if these are top 10 noise canceling earbuds I shouldn't hear any of the baby in the background here we go okay bro okay okay all right now I'm gonna go outside and test these out again but for in the house let me take these out bro I gotta I gotta tell y'all y'all know when it comes to noise cancellation I got three tears so we got trashed here okay chair and top tier the thing about these earbuds the volume is so loud I can't really tell if these are top tier noise canceling or just super loud I don't know if y'all think I'm exaggerating the volume of these earbuds is insane it's like now you will never hear me say too loud but these are almost too loud watch this I'm gonna put them back in bro hold up let's hit play real quick I don't know if y'all can hear this go put these light by the mic let me put hit play again these are from the earbuds now I know this chess is kind of corny but bro these are almost too loud now without even um without even testing these out I'm gonna go outside and do the real active noise cancellation test but just in terms of volume if you put these on at max volume you are not going to hear the baby crying in the background maybe just a little bit I did hear a little bit of the yeah a little hair part but if I had to sit next to this baby and I had on these earbuds at max volume I'd be okay put it like that I'd be okay I said I'll be right back let me go outside and test them out in the real world all right so I just came back from outside testing out transparency mode and noise cancellation and here's the results as far as transparency mode definitely not as good as the airpod pros but quality okay these are good quality transparency mode earbuds when you're wearing them you're not gonna have to take them off to have a conversation now as far as noise cancellation I would rank these as low tier top tier okay not not up there with the uh Sony's and the Bose definitely not that good but they're right up there with the Samsung stay right up there with one more these are low tiered top tier but all right here's the big butt in terms of overall volume okay these got the Sony's the sennheisers the Samsungs the airpods these have all of them beat in terms of pure volume so if you're somebody that just wants super loud earbuds okay peered up to the OnePlus 11 these sound incredible now I tested them out with an iPad and with the OnePlus and they definitely sound better using the OnePlus and make sure you try out that custom EQ that I showed y'all these earbuds are gonna blow you away let's kind of wrap this up all right so overall on a scale of one to ten I'm giving the OnePlus buds Pro 2 a major major major go I think this is going to be the best product coming out of OnePlus this year first of all Google Fast pair works great on your Android phones and you see how fast it connects to your iPhone the case and the buds are water resistant you got adaptive noise cancellation and transparency mode both of them work three mics on each earbud crystal clear phone calls the battery life is great you got fast charge and wireless charging the case but most importantly the sound quality extra crispy highs and mids the bass is deep and clean but the volume I cannot stress this enough the volume on these earbuds is super loud I back in a second all right so now let's do the reconnection test how long did these take to reconnect to your phone after you take them out and put them in the charging case all right so let's hit play on the music I'm gonna take these out put them in the case wait for it to fully disconnect okay still connected okay there it is fully disconnected now we're going to take them out here we go One Mississippi to Mississippi two Mississippi's okay as soon as I said to Mississippi I heard a little chime inside the earbuds like and it's reconnected that is pretty good all right so now let's check multi-point connection can you pair two devices at the same time I'm going to take the earbud and put it right by the mic so you can hear it let's start with the Android phone okay so it's playing the music now let's hit the iPhone and it's also playing the music multi-point connection is a go all right so now let's do the one earbud test can you play music from One earbud while the other one is charging up in the case let's find out so I'm gonna hit play on the music I'm gonna take out the left earbud drop it in the case close it up let's hit play the right side is still playing okay so now I'm gonna put the right side back in wait for it to reconnect okay now I'm going to take out the right side put it in the case let's hit play the left side is still playing so this is pretty dope you can use either earbud independently basically doubling your battery life all right so now let's check for latency and what I mean by that is when you're watching the video is there any delay from the person's lips to what you hear let's hit play now I'm going to put one earbud right by the mic so y'all can hear it for yourself okay no lip sync delay at all so this will be perfect for gaming or for watching videos excellent all right so now let's check in air detection what that means is when you're playing your music if you take out a nail Bud it'll automatically pause the music when you put the earbud back in your music will resume let's try it out let's hit play okay so the music's playing snatch out the earbud you see it post okay put the earbud back in my ear music started playing I'ma Snapchat the left ear bud music pause put it back in music resumed no issues at all right so now let's check out the touch controls and on the side note these are fully customizable now the controls are built into the stem so I'm gonna put these on now if you want to activate noise cancellation long press turned on noise cancellation now if I want to turn on transparency mode long press and there's transparency mode now let's go over to music single tap the play and pause okay there it is double tap to go to the next song okay and triple tap to go to the previous track all right so all of the touch controls work all right so now let's check the call Quality I'm going to call up on Maya okay so we got one plus buds let's get maximum volume hi girlie what's up what you doing oh okay okay Lord of the Rings that's your new name bro it rings man let me hold one of them Rings bro let me get one of them championship rings Eric all right anyway I I don't want to hold you up all right I'm I'm doing a video right now how do I sound no I'm using earbuds okay sound good okay hold up now look I gotta do the win test what about now similar to earbuds but you're not gonna like these you're not gonna like this they say you're not gonna like these how you hit you hit you can you hit a win not really okay that was maximum windage let me try it again this yeah this is maximum win so it sounds good okay so you would definitely be able to have a full conversation with me like this with no problems okay how would you rate these on a scale of one to ten eight point seven you got you always got to be different you like it a one bit down like just give me a solid number yo 8.7 all right you got to be extra yeah I bet all right so what's up what time is your practice six o'clock all right so um call me on your way to practice all right girly bye okay call Quality now on my end it sounded Crystal Clear she said I sounded great she actually thought these was my favorites the airpod pros because these are the ones that I usually talk to on the phone with so these I would say the core quality is excellent she said 8.7 I would say from my end I'm gonna give it 8.7 also why not let's be extra all right so now let's check noise cancellation and transparency mode so I'm wearing the earbuds right now I got them on transparency mode I can hear everything perfectly fine but I'm gonna go outside and test it out in the real world but just in the house no issues of course we got the baby crying so let's activate her real quick okay now let's turn on noise cancellation now without any music turning on noise cancellation definitely drowned out some of the baby a little bit but here's the real test okay I'm Gonna Play nipsy Hustle blue laces 2 with the baby crying at max volume and if these are top 10 noise canceling earbuds I shouldn't hear any of the baby in the background here we go okay bro okay okay all right now I'm gonna go outside and test these out again but for in the house let me take these out bro I gotta I gotta tell y'all y'all know when it comes to noise cancellation I got three tears so we got trashed here okay chair and top tier the thing about these earbuds the volume is so loud I can't really tell if these are top tier noise canceling or just super loud I don't know if y'all think I'm exaggerating the volume of these earbuds is insane it's like now you will never hear me say too loud but these are almost too loud watch this I'm gonna put them back in bro hold up let's hit play real quick I don't know if y'all can hear this go put these light by the mic let me put hit play again these are from the earbuds now I know this chess is kind of corny but bro these are almost too loud now without even um without even testing these out I'm gonna go outside and do the real active noise cancellation test but just in terms of volume if you put these on at max volume you are not going to hear the baby crying in the background maybe just a little bit I did hear a little bit of the yeah a little hair part but if I had to sit next to this baby and I had on these earbuds at max volume I'd be okay put it like that I'd be okay I said I'll be right back let me go outside and test them out in the real world all right so I just came back from outside testing out transparency mode and noise cancellation and here's the results as far as transparency mode definitely not as good as the airpod pros but quality okay these are good quality transparency mode earbuds when you're wearing them you're not gonna have to take them off to have a conversation now as far as noise cancellation I would rank these as low tier top tier okay not not up there with the uh Sony's and the Bose definitely not that good but they're right up there with the Samsung stay right up there with one more these are low tiered top tier but all right here's the big butt in terms of overall volume okay these got the Sony's the sennheisers the Samsungs the airpods these have all of them beat in terms of pure volume so if you're somebody that just wants super loud earbuds okay peered up to the OnePlus 11 these sound incredible now I tested them out with an iPad and with the OnePlus and they definitely sound better using the OnePlus and make sure you try out that custom EQ that I showed y'all these earbuds are gonna blow you away let's kind of wrap this up all right so overall on a scale of one to ten I'm giving the OnePlus buds Pro 2 a major major major go I think this is going to be the best product coming out of OnePlus this year first of all Google Fast pair works great on your Android phones and you see how fast it connects to your iPhone the case and the buds are water resistant you got adaptive noise cancellation and transparency mode both of them work three mics on each earbud crystal clear phone calls the battery life is great you got fast charge and wireless charging the case but most importantly the sound quality extra crispy highs and mids the bass is deep and clean but the volume I cannot stress this enough the volume on these earbuds is super loud I love it anyway OnePlus Pro 2 hit me up in the
