Sexually-charged.Also scary, we did a lot of scary stuff. This episode is very specialnot only because Steve is sickand the boss is running the show, but Kendall knows everything.- No, I know a little about Taylor Swift.I love her, I dream her lyrics, but I wouldn't say I knoweverything about Taylor Swift. There are people who knoweverything about Taylor Swift, but I'm not one of those.- That's a terrifying detail. If anybody ever came to meand told me that they dreamtin \"Binging with Babish\",I'd (beep)ing run.- It's not a choice I make.- Okay, so we're gonna makeTaylor's cookies, straight up?- No.- Great.- They're mostly Taylor's cookies.I would say Taylor's cookie is the base, but then Donna Kelce's cookie has a bunchof really interesting things actually. The things that we're doingfrom Donna Kelce's cookieare her additions, toppings, inclusions.White chocolate, milk chocolate, toasted pecans, or pe-cans.- Earlier Kendall told meabout how Donna's cookiehas two different types of flour.Apparently there's morethan one type of flour.- Also, I smell burning hair.Am I having a stroke?- Did I put my hair in here?- Did you putyour hair in the oven?(Kendall stuttering)There's smoke.- There is. Why though?I mean there's something in there.- Some residue burning off.- Yeah, I think it's fine.- Alright.- Two different types of flourto create a slightly fluffierand more unctuous cookie, you know what I mean? It's a combination of all-purpose flourand then cake or pastry, which both of thosehave slightly different protein contents, but, you know,it's probably gonna giveroughly the same effect.- What did we go with?- We went with cake flourbecause it's easier to find, which I wish I couldfind good pastry flourat the grocery store,- Tell me about it.If there's anything FootballFusion is complaining about,it's where you can get good pastry flour.Travis Swift.(metal rock music)We filmed this episodebefore the Wild Card round, and we're doing thevoiceover in my living roomat the halftime of the Rams-Lions game,so the only playoffcommentary I have for youis that Puka Nacua shouldbe the Rookie of the Year. But this isn't about all that. This is about cookies. And the first thing we needto do is chop these pecans,pe-cans, pecans, and toast them.I chopped the pecans toofine, just for the record.Once these have reached yourdesired level of toastiness, put them to the side. We'll add these to our dough later.Speaking of dough, it'stime to get startedon Taylor Swift's cookie dough recipe.I'm starting by creamingbutter in a stand mixerfor a few minutes until it becomes fluffy.Make sure to scrape the paddle in the bowlso all the butter gets whipped around.I was told to do so aggressively.Next I'm adding in vegetable oiland letting all of this sticky, gooey stuff mix together.Let's give it up for Andrewfor getting this incredible shot. But at what cost?(Kendall screams)- And cut!- Ew, it sprayed me.- This job is hard.- Yeah, what the heck, Steve? Now that our butter andoil is as nicely combinedas it could possibly be,it will look weird andwrong, but that's fine. It's time to pour in two types of sugar, the regular kind and the powdery kind.If you have a fine mesh sieve, get that bad boy out and getthe clumps outta your sugarbefore it goes into the dough.Let that combine for just a couple minutesbefore cracking an egg in thereand dumping in some vanilla extract. Now it's time to mix powders.Taylor uses chai in her recipe,so we're using this chai tea bag.Mm!In a bowl, I'm combiningall-purpose flour, cake flour, the chai from the tea bag, baking soda, and salt.Mix it all together and addit to your bowl of wet dough.Whack all that stuffaround in there for a whileuntil your dough begins to solidify. Now it's time for Mama Kelce's inclusions.I'm adding chocolate chips, both milk chocolate and white chocolate, and, of course, thosetoasted pecans from earlier.Let the flavors of TaylorSwift and Donna Kelce infuse.Travis, if you're watching this,we'll save you a few cookies.Once everything is combined, scrape the paddle and the bowland then just toss a plate on top. This goes into the fridgefor an hour to rest.(dramatic music)- Taylor asks us to make12 tablespoon cookie drops.I argue that that is too small.I think we should do 2-tablespoon drops. What do you think?- (whispering) Just say yes.- Yes.- She doesn't say to add parchment paper,so we can just greasethese with non-stick spray.- Thank you.Thank you! (laughing)- Really goothat around real good.- Yeah, goo it around.- Oh, with this?- Yeah.I feel like I'm gonnawipe it all off if I goo.- No.(all laughing)- (muttering) Okay.- You're wiping it all off.- Now, is Taylor right? Is this the right size?- You think Taylor's right, that's what we should do and not this? But inclusions!- Yeah, but I'm worriedthese are gonna spread a lotand I'm worried that Ithink Taylor's right. Why do I keep forgettingthat she's always right?Taylor says to dunk 'em in sugar.- So this is it?- Yeah, like, sort of flat.- My hands are very hot.- These are so small!- I can't do this for very long. Are yours too small?- Yeah, I feel like they're so small, but Taylor's right, you're right.I think, I think-- I really wanna scratch inthe back of my head, but-- I can do it.- No, you're in the boat as me.- I have to go do it.- (laughing) Thank you.- Well, here, bring, bring your...Come to me.- Sorry.- Where? Here?- Right, up a little, tiny. There it is. Thank you.- Sorry for doingit like you're a dog.(all laughing)All right, baker's 13.- Baker's 13.- They go into a 350 degreeoven for nine minutes. She originally wrote 12, I think.Crossed it out, wrote nine.- Whoa!- I think. All right, ready?(dramatic music)- Looks like I don't evenhave a hand, doesn't it,like there's not even a hand in there.- Yeah, it does look like that.- But there is.(Kendall laughing)Got you though, right?- Wow. Yeah, you did.- There's no hand in there at all, right?- Ah!- Double jointed!- Speaking of, as is Taylor Swift.- No!- Way!- Taylor Swift is double jointed?- Yeah, at least in herelbows, 'cause she can go...I'm not, so I can't do it.- Whoa. Then, of course, there'sone of these, right? This is gonna look reallygood with the glove. You got it?- Yeah.- Oh!- Whoa!- That wasactually genuinely freaky.- Right?- Yeah.(Sawyer singing gibberish)- Wow, I thought the trickwas you just going like this.- Should I go the other way?(Kendall gasps)(screaming) Ah!(dramatic music)Ow!- I'm just making sure they can turn. They're probably 30 secondstoo long, to be honest.- Ow!- I love them.- They do look, like, absolutely, like, picture perfect.- They look like cookies to me.- So now all that's leftis to make the glaze. And do you wanna talk aboutwhy we're making this glaze?- We read somewherethat Travis Kelce likesmaple syrup on his waffles.- Crazy!(all laughing)- That's not right.- Crazy son of a (beep)Crazy son of a (beep).- No!- This one's for you, you psycho!(all laughing)- He has French toast everymorning before a game,so now we're puttingmaple syrup in the glaze.- Powdered sugar plus maple syrupequals a yummy glazethat Travis would love.We realized that just adding syrupdidn't provide enough liquid,so Kendall is adding some milkto give it that spreadable glazed texture. And once the cookies have cooled down, all that's left to dois cover them in glaze.- Wow!- No.= Yes!- Kendall, you were saying thatlike a kindergarten teacher.- Stop.- They're just differentthan what I thought.- Wow!- I put too much icing on mine.- Oh yeah, wow!You don't see me being so mean.Did you see the gossip?Taylor Swift and Selena(stuttering)- Selena Gomez.- Selena Gomez.- Selena Gomez?- Yeah.- Taylor Swift and SelenaGomez were caught gossipingabout Timothee Chalametand that Timothee Chalamet'sgirlfriend, Kylie Jenner-- No, they'renot together anymore.- Wouldn't let Taylor take a pic,or Selena Gomez take a picturewith Timothee Chalamet.- Here's the thing though. It makes sense thatSelena wouldn't be downto hang with Kylie Jennerbecause she's the sisterof Kim Kardashian, who famously feuds with herbest friend, Taylor Swift,so kinda makes sense, eventhough Timothee Chalamet'sno longer dating Kylie Jenner.- They are, they were GoldenGlobes together last night.- Oh my god!- Where did you come from?!- They did this.- Anyways. We can eat cookies.- Let's do it.Would you like one?- Cheers.- Cheers.(playful dreamy music)- Wow.That glaze.- The glaze. That's a good cookie.- The vegetable oilmakes it, like, really short.- Yeah, I thought it'dbe chewy, but it's not.- The chai with the inclusions, with the different flours, this is a viable cookie. It shows a love and appreciationfor both people, I'd say,for both families, and I think could beeasily served at a tailgateor a family together togetherness. We've done it again. We made a very good thing on Fusion. You should try this at home.To the guy I saw in thegrocery store, they're good.- Oh, I saw that.- And it won't come out.- No!- Get in there. There's the thumbnail.(all laughing)Here, let me take a crack at that.- Do you see it? It's curly.- Yeah, I cansee it in the camera, and that's what's adding alayer of complexity to this.- Nope!- It's fine. I'll get it.Oh, see that just made it gross! That made it gross.Dangling of any kind is unappetizing.- I'm gonna eat the rest.- All right, thank you. That was great. She's eating it, eventhough there's hair in it.- Yeah!We did it. Alright...- All you needto do is say somethingthat's smart and funny at the same time.(Sawyer humming to self)- This again!- Oh!(Kendall laughing)Sold!- A big thank you to Rocket Moneyfor sponsoring this episodeand giving us the all-in-oneplace to tackle finance.Get the tools you need toachieve financial freedom.Head to rocketmoney.com/babishto try it today.(festive lounge music)\n"
