Comparing the iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant: A Review
What's up YouTube, this is Everything Alpha Pro, and I'm bringing you a quick comparison between the iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant. Hopefully, this video will help you make up your mind about which device you want to get and why.
These are both top-of-the-line smartphones that are competing of course, one's Android, and this is iOS by Apple. Both have amazing displays, with this one being a 3.5 inch Retina display with high resolution and LED display, while this one is a 4-inch display which is slightly lower in resolution but is an AMOLED display. This display is amazing, the black colors are vibrant, it's just a gorgeous screen to watch movies on. Although this display is also amazing, it's the Retina display that's sharper, with a higher viewing angle. They're kind of the same, but yeah, I definitely like the Samsung Vibrant display over the iPhone 4 just because of how sharp it is and how clear it is.
Going into the hardware, the iPhone 4 is a little thinner but it definitely feels a lot firmer with a steel band and glass on both sides. Although, I really don't like that it has glass on the back, this one is made out of plastic II material, it's very cheap feeling, it's very light. I didn't know what to think when I first got it, but it is pretty comfortable to hold, although I don't feel it as good as the iPhone 4, it feels too cheap. The iPhone 4 also has a little bulge down here which I don't like, and there's a SIM card slot, this one has a SIM card slot underneath along with the memory card replaceable memory and battery. The power button is pretty inconvenient, although for some people you just press it like that, but it's on a downward slope so your finger slips off the button. I don't really like that on the iPhone 4, it's very easy to press.
Both phones have 5 megapixel cameras, with this one having an LED flash of course in both, recording 720p video, and both having front-facing cameras right there and right there. The mic is down here on this one, and that's right there, and I'm not sure if this one has a secondary mic too, but most likely doesn't um. Both have 3.5 millimeter jacks and the charging port is down here, this one being a slide port. Both phones have great battery life, there's nothing to complain about.
Going into the hardware, both feature a 1 gigahertz chip, with this one having the Apple A4 1 gigahertz processor and the Samsung hummingbird 1 gigahertz processor. Both have 512 megabytes of RAM, both featuring electric compasses, gyroscopes, accelerometers, and light sensors, as well as proximity sensors. The display is made of Gorilla Glass, the top layer via Apple's really hard glass, which is 30 times harder than plastic but is more prone to shock damage.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a phone that just gets the job done, you want to make calls, and you want to have a really beautiful display and watch movies, this is the phone for you. It's at the top of the line Android phone with a really great graphics chip in it, just really great for the media, it has a far more variety of formats that you can watch, and if you're looking for a phone with apps and games that you can play, this is the phone for you. The software on both phones is pretty great, but I prefer iOS. Thanks for watching my review, guys go ahead and leave me a comment in the description saying which phone you decide to get and why, and please comment rate this video and subscribe to my channel.
