The Car That Deserves Its Name: A First Impressions Review
I tell you what, cars are just getting so quick now; they're getting so quick that I'm wondering whether there are enough rich people who are handy enough to drive them. I mean, it just absolutely outrageously fast and you have to have your wits about you. I mean, so much faster than almost every racing car I've ever driven. Yeah, it deserves the name; it's a weapon.
I'm not sure how much that matters really and the breaking performance these new brakes. I don't know how fast I'm going down here; I'm not looking at the speedo, but wow whoa whoa whoa whoa wow. So, that's my first little go systems. The car is all about systems; I'm sure you can turn everything off and just do great big smokers if you want to, but this is about management every single time you get on the throttle it just holds it back a little bit before you gets that initial traction and just catapults throughout other Corners.
I mean it might as well be Mid Engine for the way that it feels like it wants to just get traction everywhere. Steering very very fast; it's a car that you drive pretty much with your wrists, it's quite uh it's quite delicate in that respect, and it's a lot more nervous than a 599 GTB or a GT or or an H GTE pack even. You find yourself mid Corner if you have a little go and think oh I just back off throttle a bit; the car wants to over steer immediately so it's like it is, it's a Pucket device, you know it, it really does deserve the name for that alone.
It's a much more aggressive car than a GTB; um very very fast in a St on feels much quicker in the passenger seat obviously than it does uh holding on to the wheel, um doesn't feel different League fast to 599 and I'll give you my initial uh reason for that. The chassis of this car does feel so much more confident, really feels like it's on top of the powertrain whereas I never quite felt that the 599 was for me; the 599 was a sort of renegade engine and transmission looking for a chassis and it never quite found it; it's found it now, so oddly enough.
First Impressions there two laps doesn't feel as bansai quick to me but yeah I'll have some of that. Wow what a all £300,000 to have your 599 GTO; that's 100 Grand more really than a normal 5 99 is it worth the money? Difficult to say really and on the one hand if you're going to go and do track work in it then then yeah it's got to be worth the money because it's so much better um as a road cut we'll find out later on it's not an expensive Folly though; it really isn't an expensive Folly, it's uh it's something very special very fast and technically very competent.
I love the fact that it's about speed and not about being a y although obviously one can be a yob if one wants to be yeah the Appo impression is are there enough handy rich people in the world to drive these things cuz go it's fast very fast, wish I could drive it like him though he's really good around here wow it's very good. Your cars are getting so fast now that you need a bit more time; you need some time you could just just jump into this and go flat out on a Monday morning it's you know it's come from a taxi from the airport so fast it's much much more aggressive car much more aggressive car with the chassis, um he's an heavy name g so we cannot make just slight modification very different car wow.
