Apple has Officially Released iOS 17.4 Developer Beta 3

Hey guys, so Apple has officially released today iOS 17.4 Developer beta 3 now this basically confirms apple is now on a weekly release schedule if you will, so it looks like apple may be releasing iOS 17.4 slightly earlier than anticipated. We'll talk about expected release date here in just a few seconds but of course I also want to talk about some of the latest new features and changes in the latest beta so let's go ahead and Dive Right In.

The first thing I want to talk about is iOS 17.4 Developer beta 3 is now available for registered developers and public beta testers as per usual, you'll most likely see this populate on your device within the next 24 hours or so, and the download here is approximately 700 megabytes, so 681 on my device from beta 2 over to Beta 3. Let's head on over here into the generals category to go into the bill number under the about section here iOS version there it is B beta 3, bill number is 21e 52000 D, now keep in mind there's still a few betas again we'll talk about the release date here in just a few seconds but aside from iOS 17.4 Developer beta 3 Apple also released iPad OS 17.4 beta 3 Mac OS 14.4 beta 3 TV OS 17.4 beta 3 Vision OS 1.1 beta 2 is available for the Apple Vision Pro and watch OS 10.4 beta 3 was released today for the Apple watch, so yeah a lot of new software updates released today for developers and again public beta testers you'll most likely see this here in just a couple of hours now.

I want to talk about one new splash screen available with this latest beta so Apple has already made some changes to their podcast application where you have transcripts within the podcast very similar to Apple music, so if you launch the podcast application you start listening to a podcast for example you can click on the button on the bottom left corner here and you can see a live transcript of the podcast here, so Apple mentions with the new splash screen this is now available here with an iOS 17.4 so if you haven't updated when you do update and you launch the podcast app you'll see this prompt here explaining what's new within the podcast app there's also search in transcripts as well.

Another minor change I've noticed with this beta if you go to apply a wallpaper for example and you click on use as wallpaper and click done, by the way if you want this one links will be available in the description when you go to set it up Apple no longer applies the blur background on the home screen version of the wallpaper, I've noticed this with basically every single wallpaper I've tried to you know add into iOS 17.4 beta 3 so you have to manually add that blur there as you can see no longer adding the blur automatically within wallpapers now again if this is something that you've noticed prior let me know in those comments down below but this beta this beta is a small one again this one basically confirming that apple is soon to be releasing iOS 17.4 to the general public as they switched to a weekly release schedule this basically means Apple's trying to ramp things up here before the official release.
