**Unboxing the Kodak Zi8: A Point-and-Shoot Camera Review**

In this unboxing review, we take a closer look at the Kodak Zi8, a point-and-shoot camera that promises to deliver high-quality video and still images. The camera comes in black, with a standard 110V-220V charger that can charge the battery via USB.

**The Charger and Battery**

The charger is a standard 110V-220V plug with an output of 5.2 volts, suitable for charging the camera's rechargeable battery. The battery itself is a Kodak KLI C70 Zero, which claims to provide up to two to four hours of recording time depending on the resolution setting.

**Camera Specifications and Design**

The Kodak Zi8 features an external mic jack, HDMI port, and tripod mount for added stability. The camera's design is sleek and compact, with a glossy metallic grey finish that should resist fingerprints but may be prone to scratches. The screen is 2.5 inches high-resolution, making it easy to review footage.

**Features and Functionality**

The camera features a settings button, trash can button for deleting videos, d-pad for navigation, and a red button to start or stop recording. The camera also has a macro mode switch and a selector switch for normal mode and macro mode. We test the camera's performance with 1080P video at 60 frames per second, which delivers excellent color and lighting.

**Testing the Camera**

We take a few still shots using the camera and review them to ensure that the image quality is satisfactory. The footage and images taken are of high quality, making this a great option for travelers and videographers who want to capture memories on-the-go.

**Conclusion**

The Kodak Zi8 is an easy-to-use point-and-shoot camera with excellent video quality and still image performance. Its compact design, rechargeable battery, and standard features make it a great choice for those looking for a hassle-free camera experience. "WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey you do this apart knock before I Gander in and today we will be unboxing and reviewing the kodak zi8 or the zi8 or the zi8 however you'd like to call it this camera is available in India from Kodak India and it comes with a free 2 GB as the HC card is from verbatim and it's not from Kodak surprisingly anyway so let's learn a little more about the camera first before we start unboxing it this is a very small portable camera it was brought out in the market to probably challenge the Flip HD or the creative Vado HD there are some plus features as compared to the Flip and there are some drawbacks as compared to the Flip we will start with basic specifications of this camera this camera shoots video at 1 0 8 0 P it also shoots video at 720p at 60 frames per second 720p at 30 frames per second SD video and also it takes still shots of 5 megapixel this does not have an inbuilt video light or a flash for images but it does use external storage like an SD card for storing video it does have 128 MB of storage capacity on it but that's probably useless if you're recording on 1 8 1 0 8 0 P it comes with a rechargeable removable and replaceable battery it's a standard battery made by Kodak is the same battery they use in most of their camcorders of this type so without further ado let's unbox the kodak zi8 so in the books we have the kodak zi8 we got the black color what else do we have we have a charger this charger is 110 volt to 220 volt and it also it's 50 Hertz and it gives an output of 5 point 2 volts so it's basically a USB you can probably charge the camera of a USB port you have an Australian plug I don't know if you can see this you have a land car you have a lanyard they also have a EU plug or the same thing that's used in India this is the battery I was talking about it's a KLI c70 zero for kodak battery this battery is three point six volt and 940 milliampere hour so codec claims that we can get about two to four hours depending on the type of resolution we should we do it so we're gonna test that and we're gonna give you a review on that the cable for your connections and documentation you're going to put in the battery and turn this thing on hopefully the battery hasn't charged enough for us to review the product okay let's look at the camera first this is an external mic jack there is an HDMI port for connecting an HDMI cable this is not a standard HDMI cable this is a mini HDMI cable so you need probably a mini HDMI to order standard size HDMI to connect to your TV this is the jack for the charger this is for the tripod mount and this is a hole for the lanyard on the right-hand side we have the hole for the SDHC card and we also have the USB hand which I believe is pulled out like this so it comes out and there we go this is quite flexible unlike the Flip HD and so people shouldn't have any problem connecting to their computers and we also have the power button on the back side we have nothing but the lens just the lens and probably a door which you're going to open in just a minute but on the top of the camera is a switch a selector switch to switch between normal mode and macro mode on the front of the camera we have a Settings button we have a trash can button probably for deleting videos we have a d-pad which is left right up and down we have camera mode selection button and we have a review playback button the red button in the center is to start or stop record we also have a 2.5 inch screen and we'll see how that looks in just a minute you're going to insert the battery into this let me go see if it powers on that was quite fast codec claims the dispo is on in less than two a second then it seems pretty accurate so there you go it has one zero eight zero P I don't know if you can see this okay so it has one zero eight zero P which is right here then it does 720p at 60 frames per second and it does 720p at 30 frames per second then it does WVGA which is also known as SD video and then it takes still shots so we're gonna take a couple of shots of this charger and there you go just clicks that's as easy as that let's delete that quite easy so the interface standard seems really easy we can shoot some video if possible on the 128 MB of stories that we have we're going to shoot a quick video around and show you guys and let's review that it's that simple the quality of the video the color the lighting is excellent it's a very lightweight camera it doesn't weigh a lot I am gonna put the exact rate at the bottom I think it's a very easy-to-use point-and-shoot it turns on really fast if you like making videos if you like shooting videos if you like traveling a lot this will probably be very helpful for you in terms of design it's a very nice looking camera as well it has this nice grey shiny metallic grey color it is glossy and I bet it's fingerprint friendly but fairly easy to clean the screen is brilliant it's a very high resolution screen and I'll put the exact specifications of the screen on this for you guys there you go this is the kodak zi8 video camera and we'll have a full review of this shortly please visit I cannot in for more unboxing videos reviews and tutorials please rate comment or subscribe to our videos this is hard knock Paul for a ganderhey you do this apart knock before I Gander in and today we
