**Midweek 180: A Simple yet Engaging Format**
In this week's episode of Midweek 180, we dive into various topics ranging from motor racing to new car releases. The format, as always, is straightforward and easy to follow. The first thing that catches the eye is a timer in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, counting down from 180 seconds. This simple yet effective design allows viewers to quickly grasp the essence of the show.
**The Leader of the Pack**
Last week's episode was won by "Noisy Man X," who impressed with his participation in the famous 5 by Kevie 4-7 GP Tech VXR Bandit and the Speed Machine 35. The current leader of the pack is whoever puts down their first comment this week, with the first five comments guaranteed to join the "Famous Five" next week. It's exciting to see how this leaderboard will evolve as more viewers participate.
**The Autobahn Debate**
Last week's question sparked a lively discussion about the Autobahn and its suitability for the UK roads. The majority of respondents felt that the Autobahn has been saved, with many arguing that we simply don't have the same level of lane discipline or driving skills as Germany. This brings up an interesting point about road design and how it can impact our behavior behind the wheel.
**Driving Long Distances**
The question posed this week asks: "How long would you drive before taking a break?" Some viewers, like "NCB," believe that three to four hours is a good time frame, while others are more relaxed in their approach. However, it's worth noting that the assumption that one will always take a break after a certain period of driving can be misleading.
**Formula One: Verstappen and Double Wave Yellows**
The recent incident involving Max Verstappen during qualifying has sparked a heated debate among viewers. Many feel that Verstappen should have been disqualified for ignoring double wave yellows, which are in place to address safety concerns on the circuit. The memory of Jill Bianchi's tragic accident during qualifying serves as a stark reminder of the importance of these rules.
**New Car News: Aston Martin Vantage AMR**
Aston Martin has just released its new Vantage AMR with a manual gearbox, which is sure to pique the interest of car enthusiasts. This unique combination of features, including rev matching and flat shift function, promises to make driving this car an exhilarating experience. With 503 horsepower under the hood, this vehicle is poised to be a real showstopper.
**Electric Cars: A Personal Experience**
In last week's episode, our host shared their experiences living with an electric car for the second time. This provided valuable insight into the benefits and challenges of owning an e-vehicle. The views on this video were impressive, but not all of them were positive, and it's great to see that our host took constructive criticism on board.
**Upcoming Content**
As a special treat, we have something exciting planned for next Friday at 6 PM. A new car is set to arrive, and we can't wait to share its details with you. If you're as eager as we are, make sure to tune in on Friday for what promises to be an engaging episode.
**Conclusion**

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys and welcome to petrol pet and welcome to this week's midweek 180 yes I'm away from home again this week I'm actually working up in the Midlands and enjoying the hospitality of the purple Palace stal bridge would you believe but I could not bring you my midweek 180 if you've not seen one of these before this is my midweek update where I bring you my news views and information about upcoming reviews all filmed in one take and look at 180 seconds in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen and that's it a very simple format so without further ado let's get cracking with this week's midweek 180 I shall start my timer okay leader of the pack last week was the noisy man X congratulations sir joined in the famous 5 by kevie 4 to 7 GP tech VXR bandit and the speed machine 35 so whoever puts the first comment this week you will be my leader of the pack next week and the first 5 comments you will be in my famous 5 where are you what you're doing well that was ncb who was watching the midweek 180 in the gym I think you should be concentrating on your workout mate but I do appreciate your commitment to the 180 top form now last week's question was basically about the Autobahn and what you thought of it had you been on it how fast you'd driven and there was some really interesting responses it sounds like the Autobahn has been saved there was a vote recently in the German parliament to save it and most of you agreed that we couldn't do that format of Road in the UK and I have to say as well we just don't have the lane discipline or the driving skill in the UK sadly this week's question spurred by my very recent trips in an e V is how long would you drive before you took a break so if you've got a really long journey what kind of time would you be prepared to drive before you take break for me I quite happily sit there and do 3 or 4 hours before I take a break clearly depends on whether I need a wee or not all I get older that tends to happen but I just be interesting cuz we often say oh we do a long journey you'll stop for a break anyway I often don't I just want to get there Formula one from the weekend obviously a win for Lewis Hamilton he's not quite world champion yet but I think it's likely to happen next week but I wanted to talk about Verstappen ignoring double wave yellows during qualifying and then kind of admitting it in the press conference afterwards clearly got a three place grid penalty I would love to know what you think about this for me I think you should have been disqualified absolutely without question I've done motor racing only little bit low you know very low level but the rules are the rules flags are there for a reason double wave yellows means there's a an issue on circuit look what happened with Jill Bianchi there were double wave yellows and he ended up having a crash in losing his life it's a super serious thing and he's just seemed to laugh it off not impressed at all should have been disqualified without question new car news this week I just had to mention this one the new Aston Martin Vantage AMR but with a manual gearbox now I love the new Vantage anyway but this thing has a 7-speed gearbox and cracks the only gearbox with its got like a dogleg first but then 7-speed manual that'd be interesting to drive it's got rev matching and flat shift function so that kind of makes it speed through the gear changes maybe keep up with the flappy paddle four litre twin-turbo v8 it's got 503 horsepower they have reduced the talked slightly to 505 foot-pounds which is still a lot of talk but yeah it's super interesting car this week's video if you tuned in on Monday was basically 2,000 miles in a week in an electric car living with an electric car for the second time and on Friday on Friday I'm gonna I'm gonna be very guarded on Friday you need to tune in on Friday all I'm gonna say is I've got a new car coming on Friday that's all I'm gonna say yes make sure you tune in for the Monday night video if you haven't seen it already the last living with an e v video I did with the e-tron did brilliantly in terms of views but I got a huge amount of criticism but I really really took all of that on board and the you know I did 2,000 miles with the kia nero last week if you if you the midweek 1/8 even last week you'll remember outside I looked but yeah tuning I'm for Monday night's video and I'll see you on Friday because it's gonna be quite cool I think but anyway guys I hope you've enjoyed that one if you happen so please give me a thumbs up comments below are always welcome and if you haven't done so already please subscribe to Petra paid for plenty more content to come and I'll see you on the next video which is this Friday at 6 for
