India and guys this is the review nerd and this starts at five thousand nine hundred ninety rupees and in fact comes in only two variants this is the base we name that comes with two gigabytes of RAM and 16gb of storage the other variant also comes with 2 gigabytes of RAM and but that has 32 GB of storage I believe it as four six thousand two hundred or so but as of now both these devices are selling this one is selling for five thousand eight hundred and the 32gb storage is for six thousand rupees so let's quickly open this up and we have the sim ejector tool some paperwork I'll just keep that to the side and we have the red means 7a itself and it's in this blue color so we have this let me take this out and we come back to the device later and as you can see we have the charger and it outputs at 5 volts one amp so it's a 5 watt charger and now this will be your micro USB cable that we are getting that's it in the box so let me keep this to the side and let's look at the handset itself so this is the red nice 7 name and as you can see it's coming with the new qualcomm snapdragon 439 this is octa-core processor and this has a four thousand milliamp hour battery and a 12 megapixel rear-facing camera which Xiaomi claims to be a Sony sensor so it'll be interesting to see how it affairs and let me remove this so this is the handset it says let me give you a physical overview first before we move on on the top we have a secondary noise cancellation microphone so this is actually a nice thing guys having the noise cancellation microphone is nice we have a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the back body is completely made up of plastic we have the volume rockers up-and-down power on/off button bottom will be the vent for speaker micro USB port and this is your central let's look at it looks like this time Xiaomi has given a dedicated best to wat so yes as you can see 2 nano Sims and a dedicated slot for micro SD card and you will require this pair of them because the storage is limited but anyways that's the physical overview this has a 5.4 5 inch screen so let me just quickly power this on and by the time it actually boots up let me give you a configuration overview this red-meat 7a is having a 5 point 4 5 inch HD plus IPS LCD screen it's part with the snapdragon 439 SOC it has the Adreno 505 GPU it comes with 2 gigabytes of RAM store it'll 16 or 32 moving to the camera it has a simpler rear facing camera that's a 12 megapixel shooter and a front facing camera that's a 5 megapixel and also it has a 4 thousand milliamp hour battery so guys as it's running on me UI 10 and this is very important otherwise you will see a lot of ads disabled this user experience program remove this personalized odd recommendation just remove that even remove the wallpaper casserole and location you can enable or disable if you want but I'll just disable it and hopefully they should lessen the ads this one completely disabled arts but yeah it should lessen it quite a bit so guys have just finished setting up this device and as expected comes with me why some of you have asked me IR blaster it doesn't have that blaster but again at this price point we can't expect that so família me why and some apps are also pre-installed which a little bit sobbing because the internal still is the 16 gigabytes let's look at how much is the internal storage that you are getting it's already downloading some stuff and if we go to the settings and if you go to about the phone as you can see it's 7e and it does having that 2gb of RAM and out of that 2gb 16gb of storage only about 7.1 GB of storage is available to you so if you're using this variant you have to put a SD card well again do not like that many of the apps are the quad that internal storage so if you are buying this device go with the 32gb of variant and I don't know why Xiaomi didn't give us an option of having that three gigabytes of RAM because this meanwhy with 2gb of RAM and that adds in the long run can be a little bit sluggish but yeah as of now as you can see it's fairly responsive the device and it's actually pretty compact also it's having that a 5.4 5 inch screen and 9 aspect ratio it does not have any what is a fingerprint scanner so you can enroll in the face unlocking if you want I didn't do that but let's also look at the camera on this one because Xiaomi was saying that the rear facing camera though it's just a 12 megapixels but it's actually using a Sunni sensor so it'll be interesting to see how well it works and it says AI camera over here at the back so the same UI that you are getting with other Xiaomi devices are not a big change and you have the photo mode as you can see we have even the pro mode which I was not expecting so white balance shutter speed ISO you can actually adjust and we also have HDR auto this is actually pretty interesting I don't expect HDR auto to be there on this one considering the price point so that's a nice thing and video option is also actually there and if you go to the settings video quality it can record up to 1080p that is full HD so that's actually a nice guys full 1080p video we can actually record on this one but let's also look at the front-facing camera but this is the video this is the photo mode and by default it has that beauty mode and all those things enable you can disable it if you want and for some reason filters it's trying in black and white I know why what happened this is color I think it's coming in color so some back and front also it has HDR or two so that's actually really nice so let me do one thing guys let me actually speak some sample shots around my office to give you an idea how is the camera these were taken with the red facing camera and as you can see it's actually doing a good job in outdoor lighting conditions and even for close-up macro shots it actually did far better job than I expected these were taken and semi indoor conditions and here it struggles slightly I would say and you have to be careful because of the motion blur and as you can see mostly the shots came out fine yes it's a little bit on the softer side and these were taken with the front-facing camera on you have to be careful otherwise the camera shake is there but definitely you can take some decent shots even with the front-facing camera so guys that's it for now for the unboxing of this read me what do you guys think about this one I feel the nearest competitor to this device is this real me see - there was the pricing of the real me see - is also the same this also sells at 6000 rupees for the 2 GB at RAM variant well again this has a bigger screen and that dual rear facing camera so anyways guys that was it for this quick unboxing of this redmi 7 8 if you guys
