**A Vulnerable iPhone Situation: Exclusive Update**

I don't care who's making it – Apple, Samsung, anyone – if they can execute on a foldable that makes it more than just cool, I'll be interested.

In previous episodes, we've reported on the story of two different prototypes for an Apple foldable iPhone. One prototype is a traditional "Galaxy Z Fold" style device with two separate displays on a hinge, while the other is a clamshell-style flippable device similar to the Galaxy Z Flip. The exclusive update regarding this story is that Apple has begun testing a brand new version of the dual-screen prototype that uses a full Samsung OLED folding panel.

According to my sources, who were not entirely certain about the permanence of this decision, everything is still in the testing phase, and there's no solidified production timeline or launch date set in stone. The situation is fluid, and we don't know how this will all play out yet.

actually announced this a while back saying that they were going to effectively open up the find my network to work with third-party accessories so obviously this refers to that but also you you know you know i have been reporting on air tags for so long i've given you renders of the final design and last week sometime i gave you an official video like from apple directly a source with an apple that handed me a video of the pairing animation for air tags so this is like the real deal this is the real thing now since we're talking about this super secret screen in the find my app you might remember this tweet a few months ago i tweeted that support for air tags was actually going to be enabled in ios 14.3 and well if you go into this story that just came out about how you type that thing into safari and then it will open up a super secret find my page in your find my app for air tags you'll see something interesting typing that in and being able to find evidence on your own device for air tags only works as of ios 14.3 let's not ignore just how interesting that is i mean it sure looks like i was right when i reported that support for air tags was coming in ios 14.3 but we still don't have them so what the hell happened i mean obviously at some point just a couple months ago we got so super close to getting air tags so close that the actual features that enable these devices to work are in the software but got pulled from the software last minute i'd imagine that this happened when airpods max were able to be released in december and because of the pandemic going on right now we just don't have air tags because well as i explained before it has to work in conjunction with the full network of apple devices and for no one really going outside for anything they're not losing stuff number one and number two since nobody's outside there's not like a large network of apple devices outside right now everyone's in their house or at least they should be in
