The first part to be installed was the front door tread plate. The team expertly lifted up the trim panel, revealing the wiring loop that needed to be connected in order to activate the illumination. tomorrow when the parts are fitted here we go then i'm back at bmw m where very shortly we're going to see my m5 with some of its new parts fitted and install the final ones but before we get to it i'm standing in front of the bmw m studio this is home to bmw individual i just had a sneak peek in here in fact cameras rarely enter but this showroom is loaded with some of the most incredibly bespoke cars you could imagine let's head inside because you have got to see some of these welcome to the bmw m studio the lineup inside this showroom is exceptional and we'll take a quick tour around and talk about bmw individual we've even got the brand new eight series the m850i right here at the front behind that is a new bmw m5 competition there is also the m2 competition tucked back there as well but we can explore these cars that are created and finished in completely individual configurations and this m4 competition is actually really quite special to even begin with right here it's fitted with some of the m performance parts of the carbon fiber you have around the front it's also got the carbon fiber spoiler at the rear the exhaust system and naturally it's painted in bmw individual signal green they offer 130 different paint colors but basically for any model from the three series and up you go to your dealer and ask to come up with something more creative or more bespoke for your vehicle and that's when you get an invitation to come here and talk about the different options just have a look at the inside of this it's finished in the bicolor with the silverstone gray leather the merino leather that you also have matching with the black there's a contrast stitch in bright green even some of the accent trims inside like this part across the dashboard on the steering wheel on the doors even in the rear are painted to match the exterior they've also extended the leather so the lower door card that you have down here and also in the center tunnel but those kind of custom components you can even have your own embroideries we'll see those in a moment but this makes for a really bespoke package the m2 competition that is brand new that's hockenheim silver it's wearing their new design livery set so you have the stickers on the front bonnet the side skirt also around the rear we'll see that in a second too now to keep the camera rolling around we've also got an m5 here in corsa rosso this car is wearing some of the m performance parts that we're going to see on my car like the carbon insert at the front the carbon side skirt and the spoiler on the rear deck lid also next to that we've got the new m5 competition the more hardcore version of the f90 m5 and this car is wearing the design delivery set as well with the stickers you can see running the length of the side skirt there that car looks incredible the new m850i we'll come and have a look at the m760s in a moment to continue through we've got the urban green m3 this is the other one there are only two of them the ceos we saw outside this is the second one it has a number of custom parts as well like for example the m sticker sticker set for the decals on the carbon roof i think the interior is serial on the most part but you can see we've also got the custom painted stripes to match the exterior going on with that car too m3 cs in frozen dark blue this is quite a cool car the bmw l7 that was created for carl lagerfeld back in the 90s that is basically where bmw individual actually started but these two just look at these two m4 competition convertibles this is frozen white that is purple silk but have a look at the interiors of these cars emerald green with a white contrast stitch they've even extended the leather to cover this area around the controls there and also around the light fixture as well that is a striking interior but this car in purple silk with the opal white interior is my absolute winner right now this is a beautiful color configuration even the seat belt holders are painted here what a lovely spec purple stitching too look at that they've even done this in leather the rear um roof cover at the back that is a lovely lovely thing so to come back through past this unbelievable lineup honestly we have the very best of bmw m as well as some individual cars here and just look at these look at the different parts that you can do you can do your own embroideries you can do laser etching onto the dashboard panel subtle hint for what's coming next that is even salmon leather that they did for an x6 back in the past door tread plates as well here look at this look at the different colors that's just the greens and reds next drawer down all the blues i'm in heaven looking at this all the blues and purples name your choice really what would you like long beach blue the m2 color that's very nice next draw it just seems to go on color samples everywhere you could look leathers more paints and the m760 allies this car is fashion gray a sportier finish this one in san marino blue is the m760li excellence just come and have a look again at the inside it's really quite amazing the work they do bespoke door tread plates bmw individual manufacturer embroideries on the headrest but the cream white interior in there looks very very nice we should have a look at the back as well after all this car is about luxury look at this i loved filming with one of these earlier in the year so basically this is where you come if you want to make a car into your complete dream what an amazing place to have a look around the bmw individual advisory area and big shout out to them for putting the schmie 150 logo up there what's your favorite though anyway we're going to head over now to the workshop to see the m5 i'm now in the new bmw individual manufacturer where the cars roll through and the m5 is right in front of me but we're also joined by two m3s as well as a new bmw x5 but this is installed on a used vehicle would be done by after sales at a bmw dealership this is for new cars to have their parts fitted and the bmw individual options installed but should we take a look at the then down beneath that those carbon inserts as well at the very bottom so the six and performance parts just look at the car now that looks so good the carbon contrasts very very nicely with the donington gray but let's come now to have a look over here where we have a number of the individual parts that we're going to install so let's just start with the parts that have been taken out we've got the door sills for the four different doors as well as the dashboard trim and here are our new parts of the laser etched shmee 150 logo on the dashboard trim piece also the schmie 150 logos that are going to go on the illuminated door sills we're personalizing the car slightly here these are really really smart and they're going to be installed in a second so we will see exactly how that works when they go into the car but initially this looks very very good the first part to install are the front door tread plates so the trim panel had to be lifted up slightly just to get at the
