**A Hands-On Review of the Iskin Cases**
As someone who values a good grip on their phone case, I have to say that I'm not a fan of the Iskin Duo cases. The moment I picked one up, I knew it wasn't for me. The rubbery feel of the case, while some people might enjoy, left a nasty residue on my fingers after handling it. I know, I know - it's a personal thing, and everyone has their own preferences when it comes to phone cases.
The real test of a good case is how easy it is to apply, and unfortunately, the Iskin Duo cases don't quite pass with flying colors. The application process was frustratingly difficult, with one user joking that they had to have their brother help them with it. As someone who values convenience and ease of use, this feature is a major turn-off for me.
However, not everything about the Iskin Duo case is a deal-breaker. One thing that did catch my eye was how simple and to-the-point the design is. It's clear that they wanted to create a minimalist aesthetic without sacrificing any functionality. And when it comes to dockability, this case really shines. The ability to easily detach and reattach the case from the iPad is a huge selling point for me.
But what really sealed the deal for me was getting my hands on the Iskin View case. Unlike the Duo, which felt like a cheap plastic toy in my hand, the View case has a solid feel to it. The hard plastic material provides a nice grip without being too bulky, and the fact that it's dockable is a major advantage. I also appreciate how easy it was to apply - no more struggling with stubborn adhesives or frustrating application processes.
One of the best features of the Iskin View case is the metal bezel on the screen protector. It provides a nice balance between functionality and aesthetics, and it's clear that the designers put a lot of thought into every detail. And let's not forget about the dockability - this case truly delivers when it comes to convenience.
Of course, no review would be complete without mentioning the flaws. For me, the biggest issue with the Iskin View case is the application process. While it's definitely not the worst case I've ever had to deal with, it was still frustratingly difficult. And for some users, this might be a major turn-off.
In the end, my experience with the Iskin Duo and View cases has left me with mixed feelings. While they're both nice cases in their own right, the application process on the Duo is a definite deal-breaker for me. The View case, on the other hand, has won me over with its solid design and convenient dockability features. If you're looking for a great case that's easy to use and durable, I would definitely recommend checking out the Iskin View.
**Conclusion**
Special thanks go out to Iskin.com for sending me these cases to review. While they may not have been perfect for me, I can honestly say that I've never used a better-designed case. With their dockability feature and solid construction, I think this is definitely worth considering if you're in the market for a new phone case.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhere we have three iPad cases all from the same company I skin ink this one on the far left is the I skin Vue that is Vu and these two are the I skin Duo no pun intended okay so let's start out with the ice skin Duos there's really not much to say about these two cases they're very simple and function end form there's really not much to them it's a very slippery and loose Rubber and if you listen to the sound it's very interesting to say the least and and it's very flexible as you can tell you can um wrap it into the shape of a hokei if you wanted to or a sub or a hero depending upon your location but no these are not edible so don't get too excited and this one on the right is the exact same one as a Duo well actually they're both Duos but this one is obviously white this one's more transparent hence you can see my hand through the case however the transparency really doesn't matter once your iPad is in it okay so how is the actual application of the iPad case on the iPad here's my iPad 32 GB for those wondering application is very simple it's very loose let me just put this in here kind of snaps right on the place there and yeah let's get the blue one out of the way and there you go it takes about 10 seconds I miss a little spot there it is very easy application really nothing to it on the top here you can see that we have an open hole for headphones Jack very basic stuff on the left side here obviously it's clear nothing open because well there's nothing to access on the bottom we do have access to the iPad uh 30 pin dock connector as well as the speakers and on the side here we do indeed have access to the um orientation lock which is a little tough to get into you have to dig your finger and like like my other ice skin case for the iPhone but really not a big deal and of course you have access to your volume switch uh which is recessed under the rubber but it does not um alter the actual functionality whatsoever but anyway let's get to the more interesting part is this case nice to hold to be honest I'm not really a fan of how this case feels in the hand it's got that very loose slippery rubbery feel to it maybe that's a personal thing I'm not sure I I just don't personally like how this feels your fingers kind of feel nasty after it uh but then again it might might be a personal thing and it depends what you'd like to hold in your hands and yes I do realize so many jokes can be taken out of this context so let's just move on to the Askin Duo the blue one so taking the case off is just as easy just rip it off and there goes the rubber take this case application is obviously the exact same thing but it's blue now this one one is more interesting than the white one to be honest uh but obviously it has the exact same feel it is it is that very loose rubbery feeling but again if you're into that sort of thing then maybe this is the case for you but for my personal needs I cannot really recommend this case however I will say the design is very simple and to the point and it's very non obtrusive also something worth mentioning is this is dockable all right so taking this case off let's get to the much better case in my opinion and that is the I skin view again this is spelled v and let's take a rough look at it real quick here's the I skin view now stupid me left the bottom cover upstairs but there's usually a plastic white cover that sits right here this is where you actually dock your iPad which is a huge selling point in my opinion but anyway let's take a basic overview of the ice skin view now this application process is a lot more tough than the I skin Duo cuz this is is like a it's like a soft rubber but it's not nearly as flexible I mean it's not really a huge deal because once once the case is on it's going to stay on there because like I said this case is dockable which is a big deal to me because I used several iPad cases that are not doable and as you can see I'm having a pretty hard time doing this shout out to YouTube user DLB 1752 it's my friend David banther he also has his case and he agrees the application process is entirely too frustrating I believe he had to have his brother do it for him or something like that so anyway not trying to embarrass you David I'm just saying in my opinion application process of this case should not be this tough look at this it's like a freaking challenge oh my God and the metal bezel the iPad does not help it hurts your fingers by the way I am using my new SEO camera so in case you're wondering how I have autofocus now that's why all right this is ridiculous this is annoying wow anyway I finally got the case one I got to be honest guys that was very frustrating however with that aside this case is very nice it has a nice hard plastic feel to it but you can still see through the back of the case and the Beautiful Apple logo and as mentioned the back does I mean this bottom back does come off that way it's stockable but if you're like me I really don't like taking it off every night and putting back on the next morning so I just leave the bottom off because I'm not really clumsy with my iPad so I really don't expect this part to be dented but I got to say the huge selling point of this case is the fact that it does dock it does look nice and it feels much better in the hands than the ice skin Duo does and of course up here we have access to headphone stack and the microphone if you can see that there it's kind of dark right there the power button makes it a little harder access since it's a plastic button then on the bottom here of course we have dock um accessibility which I just explained and over on the right of course we have access to our speakers so here is one last shot of all the cases together the two ice skin Duos white and blue as well as another variety of colors on their website and finally the ice skin view in a nice rich blue which I really like okay so that about wraps it up special thanks again to I skin.com for sending all these cases my way again I do not mean to repeat myself I really like this case it's just the application process was a pain in the butt but I cannot say this enough once it's on it is a really great case it feels really solid in your hand unlike these which are slippery of rubber so thanks for watching
